Dream of her father

As the night went on, Hayley started to dream, or was it a dream, she was hanging her feet over the edge letting the water soak them from the lake, she was humming a song her mother use to sing to her 

Your my sunshine, my only sunshine, 

You make me happy when skies are gray, 

You never know dear, how much I love you,

So please don't take my sunshine away, 

Her mother used to sing her that song when she was little,and everytime she got hurt, her mother sang that song to her. She looked down in the water, seeing her reflection, when suddenly beside her,her father appeared, she jumped startled, turned and screamed "DADDY!!" She hugged him tightly, "where's momma?" He softly smiled at his daughter. 

Honey, I asked the moon goddess if I could come see you, your mother won't be coming honey, she looked confused, "But why daddy?" 

Because your mother is with the higher up now, she's at peace, and before I do the same, I needed to come see you, to talk to you, to at least explain why I walked into the fire with your mother," she shook her head, 

I don't want to know daddy, I know the moon goddess made you, it was his turn to shake his head no, "honey listen ok" the moon goddess didn't make me do anything, "nor did she tell me to do this," when your mother took my place, I just knew I couldn't live without her honey," I know I was selfish leaving you here alone, but with our your mother, I couldn't had services without her, she was and still is the love of my life, she was my back bone." You see honey, when we find our mates, our mates become our lives, we become one, we feel each other's feelings, our worries, our happiness, everything, and when one dies, the other dies, maybe not right away, but we do, I decided to go into the fire with her because, I didn't want to go on without her honey. I just couldn't. And I wouldn't,

If you're going to be mad at anyone, be mad at me not the goddess, yell scream hell punch me in the chest if you must. Get your anger out honey, because we know you have so much anger build up inside of you, she shook her head, daddy I'm not angry, I just miss you and mom that's all, shaking his head, young lady, just because I'm gone, doesn't mean you can lie to me, I see it in your eyes honey, 

She closed her eyes then opened them, he chuckled, nice try, your mom use to do the same thing, she couldn't help but laugh, dad maybe I am angry, but, he cut her off, "no," no buts, be anger yell scream cuss hit, but stop be  angry, she sighed, she wished he would stop saying that she was angry, she was only wanting to spend some time with her father, 

Daddy please, can't we just sit here and talk, how is mamma doing,? Is she really at peace now? I do miss her so much, he rolled his eyes, I know what your doing, but fine I'll play along for awhile,  yes she's at peace, but she's worried about you Hayley, I'd you don't get your anger out, you could catch a whole territory on fire, and you don't want that, where would all the animals go, where would anyone live in peace, she sighed once more, I. So sick and tired of everyone saying I need to get my anger out, 

Yes I'm angry, "want to know why daddy?" He nodes yes"  

I'm angry because mom left, then the next thing I know you jump into the fire with her, leaving me alone in this hell of a world, with no training on how to be a queen, and how to rule in this life, and then I find out you and mom probably knew all along that Darryl and I were mates, and left me in the dark, until a month ago, I mean  come on, and after all this, I had to give Darryl some dumb ass made of shut test to see if he actually was worthy of being king, and I'm still not sure, because I don't want the power to get to his head, and further more, I have to deal with this Ted situation, and it f*****g pisses me off,

Logan stood there listening to his daughter, she was finally telling him everything, her feelings and what's been going on, he was proud of her, he reached for her, to hug her,but she smacked his arms away, this is what he's wanting, for her to get it out, he stepped forward once more, he could see the anger in her eyes, she turned to him angry, tears came down from her eyes, 

She punched him in the chest, once twice three times, screaming, YOU LEFT ME!" WITHOUT EVEN A PARENT, I HAD NOTHING, KNEW NOTHING, I HAD TO STAND THERE AS A CHILD, AND WATCH YOU GO INTO THAT FIRE AND BURN TO NOTHING,! DID YOU OR MOM EVEN THINK ABOUT ME? she fell to her knees crying, Logan set down beside her, holding her tight, rocking her back in forth, he started to sing to her,

He kept singing until the crying stopped, she looked up, "mom sung it better, they both started laughing, "I'm sorry daddy I didn't mean to hit you, he chuckled, it's alright honey, "You needed to get it out," "Do you feel better?" She nodded yes, will you tell mom I love her. 

He nodded yes of course honey, and I hope you know she loves you very much, now go and kick some butt, 

"Will I ever see you or mom again," I don't know sweetie, but I need to get going, he hugged her tightly and he was going, she turned bumping right into the moon goddess, her smile lit up her face, 

Goddess POV

Listen Hayley, you don't have to say a word, I want you to know how sorry I am, I understand that your upset with me right now, I don't blame you, but just know, if you need me, I'll always be there for you, but I will give you one thing, Ted is the one that sent the rogue to kill your father, he wanted to be King, so do what you must with this information, no one will hold it against you, I won't let them, with that she was gone,. Hayley suddenly woke up, she looked at the time, 

"Dam" it's only two am, I thought it would be later than that,," she sighed laying on Darryl chest, falling back to sleep,
