Chapter 24 second chances

SEAN'S POV

It's 3:30am me and summer have just gotten Skylar back to sleep after a night feed. I can tell Summer hasn't had any sleep even though she has faked sleep.

I can't sleep either since that amazing kiss. I didn't plan it and i know Summer didn't either, but I meant it when I told Summer I didn't regret it and I never would she is life, my world, my whole being in this world. Summer and Skylar is all I need in life and did be happy forever.

Sean Summer suddenly says distracting my thoughts.

"Everything okay?" I ask.

"I can't sleep" she says.

"I know, I can't sleep either" I say wrapping a arm over summers body and snuggling closer to her.

"I know we have both been faking Sleep well actually I've been thinking" she says.

"I've been thinking to but we should try to get some sleep" I say.

"Actually I thought we could talk" Summer says.

"What do you want to talk about?" I ask nervously. I'm worried Summer is gonna demand I stop staying over helping with night feeds ect especially after everything with Shan because I'm staying close to my girls I need to make sure they are okay I think to myself.

" Well I'm undecided part of me says I shouldn't give you a second chance while part of me says I should but I'm torn and it's keeping me awake" she hurriedly says.

"I can't make that choice for you, but know if you give me a second chance I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you" I say turning Summer around so I can look at her. But she keep her eyes closed.

"That's the other thing what if I was to give you a second chance your think it's okay to go around cheating expecting me to forgive you again and I don't want to be taken for a mug again, risk my heart being in tatters again" she says.

"I wouldn't do that ever again! These past months has been hell for me! I didn't just break your heart I broke my own I could never do that to you or myself ever again! I Only love you" I say kissing Summers forehead.

Summer just stays quiet for a while I can tell she is thinking about what I said. I run my fingers gently down her cheeks, "summer I swear I Only love you and Only want our family! I will do anything you want, just name it and I will do it just please give me once chance to make things right again." I say.

I see Summer take a deep breath as if she if trying to decide on something.

" Okay if I was to give you one chance I will have ground rules." Summer says.

"Okay" I say exited that Summer is really thinking this through.

"1. You ever cheat on me again I'm gone forever and we won't even remain friends afterwards just civil in front of Skylar" she says opening her eyes looking me straight in the eye with seriousiness.

"I won't do that ever again and if I did which I won't I know you would never forgive me ever again" I say.

"2. We wouldn't be engaged, no wedding on the cards you would have to earn that all back we would start from the beginning again." Summer says.

"OK I can do that" I say.

"3. Don't go thinking we are sleeping together until I'm ready and comfortable with that." Summer says.

"Okay" I say

"4. If I can't handle it if I was to get back with you I'd end the relationship because I'm not sure I can get over what you did and I wouldn't torture myself if I can't move on from it." Summer says.

"Okay, if you was to give me a second chance there all fair points and I'd abide by it all and understand it all, but know I will do everything I can to regain your trust and love back and weather it takes a day, week, month, year or a decades one day I would make you my wife Summer because that's what I already class you as already even now when we not even together" I say.

Summer doesn't say anything else and I decide not to say anything more.

SUMMERS POV

I'm self debating but I can feel myself more towards wanting to give Sean one more chance although 10% of me doesn't want to still. Although he has upset me a few times lately I also see how much he has been trying and loves me and Skylar. How he was ready to lose his crap over Shan. And he keeps telling me loves me still, it's not even just words I can see it in his actions in moments. I can't get the kiss out of my head how it felt right. Maybe one more chance could work. Maybe we could be a family a proper family I think to myself. I know I love Sean as well still but I'm scared to show him I still love him incase he throws it in my face again. What's the point in being scared he should be one the scared I think to myself. I take a few deep breaths.

Sean I whisper

"Hmm?" seans says groggy.

"Okay once chance but don't hur" I start to say but I'm cut off by Sean kiss me passionately. He then quickly pulls away.

"Thankyou, I promise I won't mess up I love you so Summer" Sean says.

"I mean it don't hurt me again because there won't be enougher chance, and all the rules apply you have to prove yourself still." I say nervously.

"I won't I promise, and you can have all your rules, I will do anything so long as I have you and our daughter" seans says before kissing me again.

When I pull away for breath, Sean has the biggest smile on his face. I cuddle into Seans chest and close my eyes.

I hope I don't regret this I think to myself.

The next thing I know is Skylar waking us up crying at 6:10am.

"Go back to sleep" Sean says kissing my head as he moves over me to get Skylar.

"I can help" I say rubbing my eyes.

"No, you get some mkre sleep, I will see to Skylar this time" Sean says while preparing the last bottle on the side.

"Okay" I say holding Skylar little hand in my finger while closing my eyes again.

The next thing I know I hear a loud bang followed by a smashing sound.

I jump up and see Sean feeding Skylar.

"Take Skylar" Sean says passing her over to me.

"What the hell?" I shout.

"Sweetheart your dad's gone to find out what's happened" my mum says running in.

"What was it?" I ask.

"Sounds like someone could be breaking in" she says.

Sean is already out the room while I'm holding Skylar. "Mum take Skylar while I ring the police" I say.

"Okay" my mum says taking Skylar, I grab my phone and run to the top of the stairs.

"What happened?" I shout down the stairs seeing my dad and Sean running out the front door.

"Someone put a brick through the front room window" my dad yells as I start to ring emergency services.

"999 emergency which service do you require?" the operator asks.

"Police" I say

"Hold on while we transfer you" the operator says as I run down the stairs while on the call.

"Police can you tell me" They start to say but inturput saying "Someone just put a brick through my front room window! My god what if I was feeding the baby in that room then" I suddenly says thinking how it could if been possible.

"Okay, can you tell me the location and is there person still there?" I hear the lady ask.

I give over the address as I run outside

"No they have gone" I say walking back inside.

"Okay well we will have someone with you soon. If anything else happens in the meantime please ring back" she says.

"Okay thankyou" I say.

SEAN'S POV

I hear Summer on the phone to the police as I follow her back inside.

"Kenny go check Sandy and Skylar I will see what's going on down here" I say seeing Kenny come in.

"Dad are you okay?" Summer asks as she hangs the phone up.

"I'm alright love but there's a note attached to the brick look" he says point at it.

"Mother fu*kers, I bet its to do with Shan" I say.

"Oh, god your right" Summer says looking worried.

"But what if I'd gotten up or you had brought Skylar Down here for a feed" Summer says crying as that thought comes to her.

I go wrap my arms around Summer "don't worry we will sort this" I say.

Kenny walks over picks the note up and reads it in front of us I can see the big bold letters.

"DONT THINK MY THREATS ARE NOT REAL I'M COMING FOR YOU! BETTER SAY GOODBYE TO SKYLAR AND SEAN THERE SOON BE MINE! CHOW FOR NOW!!"

"That's it no one is staying here" I say.

"Where are we gonna go?" Summer ask.

"I have a house a few doors down." I say

"That's not wise this house could be being watched there see everyone move a few houses up" Kenny says.

"My dad is right we shouldn't stay in this street, I don't want to leave my home but I would rather know Skylar is safe." Summer says.

"What about the penthouse?" I ask.

"Okay I can live with that for now, dad go pack some of yours and mum's things, we are not staying here" Summer says.

"Nope I'm staying here you can take your mum, but I'm not backing down my" Kenny says.

"What no way you have" Summer starts to say until we hear

KNOCK KNOCK

And I feel Summer jump in my arms, "it's okay it's probably the police" I say.

"I will get the door" Kenny says.

Two police officers walk into the room.

"Okay what's happened here?" the lady officer says.

"A crazy person happened again" Kenny says.

"Summer I will start sorting Skylars Stuff while you talk the police through what happened" I say leaving the room.

I go into the kitchen and start packing the formula and a few bottles as I ring my mum.

She doesn't answer do I ring Ryan

"why are you ringing so early?" he groans answering the phone.

"Because shan has had Summer's window put through with enougher note, I need to Speak to mum but she isn't answering." I say.

"What the hell? How's my queen and everyone?" Ryan ask.

"No one is hurt but Summer is Shaken up a little, the police are here now. I'm taking everyone back to my apartment but Skylars stuff isn't set up can you and mum go on over and set it up please? It's all in boxes in the front room. I got the same as Summer got for here." I say.

" Yeah sure I will get mum up now" he says.

"Thanks I gotta go and get Skylars bits packed from here." I say

"Okay look after them both" he says sternly.

"I will I promise" I say then hang up.

I send a text to my dad

Make sure the Bing business is taken ASAP! I want them bankrupt. Summers window went through with enougher note not to long ago. Dinner plans will now be at mine and Summers penthouse.

I then go upstairs to check on Sandy and Skylar before I go to pack Skylars changing bag.

Don't worry son the wheels are already in motion! I will bring dinner with us just focus on Summer and Skylar I got everything else covered.

"Sandy how are you holding up? How's Skylar?" I ask as I walk into the bedroom.

"We are okay, what's going on?" Sandy asks.

"Shan happened, she put a brick through the window with a message, don't worry no one is staying here. We are all going to the penthouse as soon as possible" I say.

"Are you sure?" She asks

"Yes I'm not leaving anyone behind I'd rather know everyone is safe." I say

I quickly take Skylar while sandy is deep in thought

"Okay you go get ready, I can see to Skylar while get her bits ready." I say.

"Sean the police want to know if you saw anyone?" Summer shouts up.

"No, I didn't sorry" I shout back down the stairs before heading to the nursery.

I put Skylar into her cot and start packing a few sets of clothes.

"Hello" Lisa shouts walking into the house.

I quickly go downstairs.

"Lisa what are you doing here?" I ask

"Mum and Ryan sent me to help and dad said I could use his car." Lisa says.

"Nice one sis, can you go sit with Skylar she is in the nursery while everyone gets there stuff together?" I ask.

"Of course I can" Lisa says running up the stairs as I head back into the living room.

"Sean the police are just about to leave can you get someone to come board up the window, while I start cleaning the glass up please" Summer Says to me.

"Summer just pack your things, I can sort all this out, plus I've got Lisa watching Skylar. Ryan and my mum are going to the penthouse to set Skylars stuff up. Oh give your dad your car keys, I can take you and Skylar in my car. Your parents can take yours." I say.

" Wow that's alot of information "she says

I place my hands on Summers face at the sides gently. Then I quickly kiss her lips and forehead," I know it's alot but don't worry I've got you, now go pack your stuff." I say then I let go of Summer.

"Okay" Summer says walking out the room.

"Kenny leave the glass I will get a clean up crew in." I say

I quickly sent josh a text requesting cleaners and window people to Summers address ASAP.

Summer walks back in,, who wants drinks? I can't do anything without a drink and shower "she says.

" Okay, I will make drinks you go shower then get ready I will bring your drink up to you." I say.

" Thanks " Summer says looking around the front room with saddened eyes.

" Okay I'm going now you go to." I say.

" Seems, my daughter still has you wrapped around her finger even though your not together" Kenny laughs.

"I will always be wrapped around your daughters fingers as well as my own daughters fingers" I say smiling as I start walking out to the kitchen. I quickly made everyone drinks. I made Summer her cuppa as well a orange juice and quickly took it up to summer before going to get dressed myself in blue jeans, red shirt and a black jumper.
