Chapter 23 when you still love someone

SUMMER POV

"So how are you liking being back in the office Tom?" I ask.

"I love it you keep Sean as long as you need him for" Tom says smiling at me.

I can't help laughing "thanks Tom." I say.

I get my phone out to check the time but see I have a message.

SHAN

Logan ended it with me because of you! Watch ya back because I'm about to make your life hell! Don't worry I was never into Logan anyway my ultimate goal was Sean I will make him mine and help him take Skylar away from you say bye bye to Skylar because I'm going to be her new mummy real soon!

I ring Ryan, knowing I need to vent my anger out and my best friend is who I need right now to help me calm down.

RING RING RING RIN

"Hey my queen" Ryan says

"Ryan your never guess what that tart did now" I say

"Which one?" He asks

"Shan Bing" I say.

"Oh god what now?" He groans knowing what she did the other day as we had talked on the phone that night.

"She bloody sent me a message me to threatening me" I say.

"What!" Ryan, Tom and Sean all shout at the same time.

"Ah shoot I forgot where I was I was so damn mad, hang on let me put you on speaker my king" I say

"Hey son" Tom says.

"Dad why are you not at the office?" Ryan says

"I am summer, Sean and Skylar popped in I'm on grandad duty, but never mind that I wanna know what Shan said to upset Summer" Tom says.

"Me to Ryan and Sean" says at the same time. You can tell there related I mentally think.

I get the message up and read it out.

"The crazy b***h" Ryan says. "Over my dead body" Tom says. "She can go to hell I find her revolting there's only one mum for Skylar and that's Summer no way am I letting her get away with that" Sean says storming out the office.

"Summer go after Sean" Tom says.

"Okay I will ring you later" I say to Ryan hanging up the phone running out after Sean.

SEAN'S POV

To hell is that cow threatening Summer nah ah not in my life time! I think to myself as I press the button for the lift while ringing Logan.

"Sean where are you going?" Summer shouts at me.

"Summer go back to Skylar, I will deal with it!" I say

"No, I want you to stay with us what good will it do if you end up the police station?" Summer says.

"I won't trust me." I say.

"But you drove us here Sean you can't leave us" Summer says grabbing my arm.

"Summer I will be back, I'd never abandon either of you. But I'm not gonna sit back and let that women threaten you like that not the women I love and certainly not bringing our daughter into it either she has a death wish!" I say.

"Then if you love us both you won't go your stay with us both right now" Summer says standing in front of the lift doors as they open.

"It's because I love you both that I want to throttle her neck!" I shout

"Just ignore her she isn't worth it but spending time with Skylar is more important don't leave me to do the night feed alone by getting arrested" Summer says with pleading eyes as she grabs my hand clutching it tight.

I pull summer into a hug and rub her back. "Shh, it's okay I won't leave you to do the night feeds I will stay okay" I say looking down to Summer.

"Okay Summer" say I quickly kiss her forehead.

"Promise you won't go do anything stupid for Skylar" Summer says.

"I promise I won't for you and Skylar" I say.

"Okay let's go back your dad is worried" Summer says.

I place my hand gently on Summers face as I look her in eyes as I say "Okay, but you should let her upset you, she will never take place as Skylars mum or my women only you have them places".

"I was just wanting to vent my anger to Ryan like I always do when some winds me up. I didn't mean for it to upset you either" Summer says.

"You didn't upset me, Come on let's go back" I say taking Summers hand in mine as we walk back to my office and I'm surpised Summer didn't take her away.

"Are you both okay?" my dad asks.

"I'm okay" Summer says.

"Dad how busy are things here?" I ask

"Nothing I can't handle Sean." my dad says raising a eyebrow at me with curiosity.

"Up for some extra fun?" I smirk

"Don't worry I already thought of that by the end of the week the Bings will be bankrupt and we will own all there business." my dad says smiling.

"Good! No one messes with our family" I say.

"What your gonna destroy there business?" Summer says.

"Yes it's because of us they are staying afloat plus they already crossed us last year i only allowed to let it slide when Logan pleaded on there behalf! But these past few days stunts from Shan has just pushed my buttons to much now so they will no longer get away with it!" I say.

" Okay, it's your choice, remind me to never cross you I like my business" Summer says.

"I'd never take your business even if you did do something, plus I'd probably deserve it if you did something to upset me anyway." I say.

"The whole family would kick Seans ass if he ever did that to you Summer" my dad says.

I quickly sent Logan a text of everything that's happened and what I'm gonna do about it. While Summer changes Skylar nappy. As I put my phone in my pocket it starts to ring. I see its Kenny so I answer.

"Hey Kenny is everything okay?" I ask.

"Sean where are you? Where's Summer?" he asks.

"We are at my office but will be leaving soon." I say.

"Don't bring Summer and Skylar back here!" Kenny says

"Why what happened?" I ask

"As we were arriving back we see a note on the door saying I'm coming for you." Kenny says.

"Kenny they are fine but Summer received a threatening text from Shan Bing. Don't worry I'm gonna ruin her and her family for this." I say.

"Make sure you do" Kenny says.

I can see summer watching and listening giving me questioning eyes.

"Kenny I make sure they stay safe and we will be back soon." I say

"Okay speak soon" Kenny says before hanging up.

"Seems a note was left on the front door saying I'm coming for you. Bet it was Shan Bing" I say.

"Omg I swear if I have to move because of her I will lose my rag and beat her myself" Summer says.

"I'm going to get cctv installed and an electronic gate fitted at yours" my dad Says to summer.

"You don't have to do that" Summer says.

"If he doesn't I will, yours and Skylar safety comes first and that's the end of that" I say.

Summer looks at me but doesn't argue back.

"Fine if it makes you both feel better" Summer says.

"It will" my dad says.

"Okay, well I'm sorry it wasn't a pleasant visit Tom but we should get going" Summer says.

SUMMERS POV

As Sean drives us back I can't help but think how crazy Shan is. She must be deluded to think she can get away with threatening me against my own daughter, I'd die before I let enougher women steal my child! Skylar will only call me mum no other women will claim that title I think to myself.

"Im sorry Summer" Sean says

"For what?" I ask

"You seem to end up upset alot these days, you just started to have a really good day from the photoshoot then this happens." Sean says.

"Oh, that's not your fault though, it's that insane women's fault, for once it wasn't you if anything your just as hacked off as I am." I say.

"I know but I'd still rather see you Smile" Sean says.

I place my hand on his arm. "It's alright, I'm alright angry but I'm alright." I say.

I can't help but feel touched at how much Sean wants to get revenge on my behalf it's actually sweet.

"I know I've made you sleep on the sofa past few nights where I've been angry, but I was serious about helping with the night feeds, I'm actually pretty tired. Do you mind taking the first few night feeds tonight while I catch up on sleep?" I say.

"I don't mind, I will never mind" Sean says smiling.

I remove my hand from his arm and we stayed quiet in our own thoughts the rest of the way back.

After we got back and had dinner I decided to I'd watch a film before going to sleep.

"Sean do you want to watch a film with me?" I ask

"I'd love to" Sean says.

"Okay well I'm watching it in bed incase I fall asleep though" I say.

"Okay I will grab the next bottle ect and bring Skylar on up that way if she wakes up during the film we won't need to pause it" Sean says.

"Are you sure? I can take Skylar up with me." I say.

"It's fine you go on ahead and choose a film" Sean insists.

"You can both go on up with Skylar I will grab the bottles and drinks for you both" my mum says.

"Okay thanks mum." I say.

15 minutes later I've decided on a film called 'bad mom's'. My mum has just left the bedroom. Skylar is asleep in the mosebasket and Sean is laid on the bed waiting for the film to start. I press play then decided to cuddle up to Sean.

Sean lifts my face slightly with his finger.

"What's wrong?" he asks.

"I just feel like a cuddle it was a crappy afternoon, is that okay?" I ask.

Okay Sean says kissing my forehead before cuddling back up to me running his fingers gently up and down my back. I can feel all the tention leaving my body.

"Don't worry about that crazy women I won't allow her to hurt you" Sean says.

"Ha, you should worry more about yourself your her ultimate prize." I say.

"Oh hell no! I only have eyes for you she can go on to some other mug" Sean says.

"Are you implying your also a mug?" I ask.

"No" Sean says while starting a tickle assault on the sides of my body.

"Hey no fair" I say through laughing.

"Alls fair" Sean says.

"Okay you asked for it" I say while laughing but lunging for his feet.

"Oh no you don't" Sean says grab me at the waist and continues to tickle me.

"Ah, alright your not a mug I was checking you wasn't implying to be one yourself" I say laughing.

"Why would I imply to be a mug myself? A fool, a i***t but never a mug" he says.

"Okay! okay your not a mug so stop tickling me." I say.

"Okay" Sean says while stopping but keeping his arms wrapped around me as he lays us back down again.

"You made me miss some of the movie" I say while smiling.

"I'm sure you didn't mind while you were laughing" Sean says.

"Don't worry I will get you back when Im less tired." I say.

"Ha, Ha love to see you try" Sean says.

"Shh, your to noisy I'm trying to watch the film." I say.

"If that's they case how come your eyes are looking at my face?" He asks

"Because I can multitask so long as you hush up." I say then poke my toubgue out at Sean.

He just laughs at me.

I squint my eyes at Sean plotting my payback. I close my eyes and curl up while shifting down slightly.

"Okay I will let you Sleep" Sean says.

After 5 minutes faking sleep I quickly dive for Seans feet and tickle them.

"Ah," Sean screams trying to lose his grip but I'm half layed across his legs while tickling his feet so he can't move well.

"Told you I'd get pay back" I say while laughing at him.

"You tricked me" Sean says laughing thrashing his feet.

"And you fell for it like the mug you truely are" I say between laughter.

"That's it your gonna get it now" Sean says grabbing my feet to tickle them but I kick my legs out of his reach quickly. Sean then pulls me by the waist away from his feet, my back is against his chest as he tickles my side again. We're both laughing but I manage to squirm out of his grasp quickly. Sean then quickly pins me to the bed hovering over me tickling my sides again. I accidentally whack him in the face as my hands and feet thrash out trying to escape the ticket attack.

"Ahh, that hurt" Sean says stopping.

I sit up slight to get a better look. He has a slight red mark on his cheek and I instantly start rubbing it gently.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hit you in the face" I say

"It's okay, I know it was a accident" Sean says smiling.

"Well I think I won" I announce smiling "is that so?" Sean says as quickly tickles my right side slightly, my body shoots up a little more our faces are inches apart from each other. Sean stops tickling me but wraps that arm around my body so I don't fall at the same time he quickly kisses my lips. As I look into his eyes I can't help myself wanting more I kiss him back, wrapping my arms around his neck. Sean slowly lays us down as we kiss both our tongues fighting for domerinace, but Sean wins control of the kiss. I run my hands through his hair as are lips part. Sean starts to kiss my neck leaving a moan escaping my lips.

Then I come to my senses and pull away.

"Sorry, we can't do this Sean." I say

"No, I'm sorry" Sean says looking me in the eyes, his blue eyes show passion but sadness.

I remove my hands from his hair, but Sean lays down next to me pulling back into a hug.

"Sorry, I should of stopped it sooner I don't know what came over me" Sean says.

"It's okay I should of stopped it sooner as well, I just got lost in the moment" I say closing my eyes.

"I don't regret it though" Sean says.

"Huh?" I splutter out slightly.

"I said I don't regret it, I'd kiss you every second of everyday if you allowed me, I only should of stopped it sooner knowing its not what you want. But I'd never regret kissing you Summer" he says quietly.

I can't help but wonder if we could really be a family unit happy together. But I'm torn between if I could actually trust Sean again. I know I love him still, I love him so much it hurts. I dream of him every damn night! But the pain of being hurt and cheated on is something I don't know I can get over. It's not as strong as it use to be but it's still there and still bothers me. I don't even shrug off Seans hugs anymore because I just feel its where I belong and feel safe and happy for the few moments he is close.

"Are you okay?" Sean says disrupting my thoughts.

"Yeah, sorry I was just thinking." I say

"About what?" Sean asks

"About how we use to be and what life is like now" I answer.

"I miss what we use to be, it's what we should be now and more! If I could turn back time I would do in a less than a second to ensure we were married and happy now" Sean says.
