THE BLONDE WINCHESTER sat on her bed cross legged as she scrolled down her phone. Her finger hovered above the contact name, " Sasstiel ", with a sad smile. She paused before clicking the call button and listened to Castiel's voicemail intro.
" I don't—I still don't understand the point of this. How do you mail a voice? Is it even recording?—"
" Cass,What're you doing?"—beep
She recognised the voice to be hers. She had caught him recording his voicemail months ago and laughed when he told her he had recorded it more times than he can count because he couldn't understand the concept of it.
She chuckles softly and exits the phone app before turning it off. A knock then resonated around her room and she straightens up at the sound.
" It's open.", she says.
The door slowly opened and she was surprised to see Jack.
" Hey...", she greets with a small smile.
Jack smiles back in acknowledgment and stood in the middle of her room awkwardly. She laughed at his awkwardness and motioned to the bed.
" You can sit down you know. I don't bite.", she teased. Jack soon relaxed and sat beside her stiffly.
She faced him. " So, What's up?", she says.
Jack furrows his brows and looks up. " Um...the ceiling?"
Zenja snorts at his innocence and shakes her head. " No, I meant how are you doing, J?"
" Oh...", he mutters in embarrassment. He still has yet to capture the concept of the 20th century slang, something she has been helping him with.
" I was actually here to ask you the same thing.", he replies.
" I'm...okay."
" Are you really?", he asks.
She pursed her lips before replying. " You heard our argument didn't you?"
Jack looks down. " I didn't mean to...I'm sorry."
Her eyes softened at him. " J, really it's fine. I—My brothers and I have disagreements and differences. It wouldn't be the first time we had argued about something."
" But this time, it was about me...Maybe Dean is right. Maybe I am ev—"
" Let me stop you there, J. Listen, If any of us is the monster, it would be me. I've done things I'm not proud of...horrible things.", she says as memories fill up her head.
"I've also met your father in many occasions and you are absolutely nothing like him.", she says reassuringly, grabbing his hand and encasing it within hers. " You're innocent and kind and...pure. You're far from Lucifer. It doesn't matter what Dean says, forget him. You're you, you're not your father, you're not evil and you will never be evil.", she finishes
Jack looks up at her. " You really think that?"
She smiles. " Of course, J."
The two stayed silent afterwards, not knowing what else to say. Zen then realised that she was still holding his hand, so she slowly released him from her grasp with flushed cheeks.
" Sorry..."
" I don't mind...", he says almost immediately, his cheeks turning into a shade of red. " I don't know why, but I like being with you. I like the feeling of you near me...", he states truthfully. " There's this force that draws me to you...I just don't know what it is."
Zen blushed at the first sentence and looked down. " Honestly, me too. I just—I don't know what it is...I was kinda hoping I could find something in the lores."
" Did you?"
She shook her head. " No, not even a clue."
" Oh..."
She sighs and sits silently until a thought popped in her head. She looks at him with a smile. " Wanna watch a movie?"
Jack furrows his brows. " Movie?"
She nods. " Yeah, I thought I taught you how to use the T.V."
" I never really had the chance to use it."
She grins. " Well you're in luck,J.
I'm gonna show you the wonders of television."

ZENJA LAYED ON her bed as the movie ' Insidious ' played on the T.V.
" Come on.", she tells Jack as she motioned to the space beside her.
Jack awkwardly laid beside her, their bodies propped up so that they could actually watch the movie.
" It's a horror movie by the way. When you hunt monsters for a living, you don't really get fazed by these things anymore.", she tells him.
Jack nods stiffly, his hands on his sides. Zen sensed this and chuckled. " Relax, J. Do what feels natural."
Jack soon relaxes but his arms were still on his side uncomfortably.
Zen sighs. " Put left arm around my shoulders.", she instructed.
Jack looks down at her with a baffled expression. " What?"
" Put your arm around my shoulders, you look uncomfortable with that position."
Jack then places his arms around her while his free hand laid on his chest.
" Comfortable?", she asks softly and she felt him nod in response.
The odd, unofficial couple laid on the bed as they watched the horror movie. Screams and eerie music filled the room as different scenes flashed through the screens. Jack stared at the screen with wonder and curiosity.
" Hey Zen, is he like his son?", Jack questioned as the scene played out. When he didn't get a response he turned his head to her side, only to realise the soft snores that came out of her mouth.
Jack looks down at her with a certain look in his eyes and pressed her closer towards him. Be liked this feeling, like it was somehow meant to be. It was cliché but it was the truth. She's special to him, unlike any other humans he has encountered. He needed to know why he's so drawn to her. He needed answers.
