I put my hard-won clover in my pocket and glanced over at Nicon. The fairy was frowning at me. Now, what was the matter? We had found one we only had so many to go. “What’s wrong now?” I demanded. She lifted her hand and pointed at me. “You are, why do you persist on this, Simon?” I frowned in response. “I’m not sure what you’re getting at. Are you irritated we’ve been out here this long?” I reached for another set of clover to go through. She stomped her foot and I paused. “That!” This time when she pointed she pointed at my hand.
