I woke up next to an unfamiliar warmth at my back. I looked over my shoulder and saw that Argent was fast asleep while holding me against him. How long had I cried last night? I couldn’t even remember such a simple thing. I eased away from Argent’s hold. He grumbled about it but the urge to sleep was too strong and he left me slide away. I paused at the foot of the bed as I stared down at the unicorn. Why did he care so much about me?
