This chapter will be re-edited. And that's it, she killed her dad. Okay, that's what she thought though, not until Stephen snapped his finger yet again, and immediately, the sword diverted to another direction, which unfortunately ended up in his stomach of a soldier. Blood oozed out from his mouth as he held onto his stomach falling on his knees. And boom! His head came in contact with the ground, and yeah, he died! That's it, he is gone! That was so... scary. Kath didn't wish the soldier died, but she was thankful that, at least, the sword did not get to her dad."That was scary, right?" Stephen said nonchalantly and threw her dad roughly on the ground. Immediately Stephen threw her dad on the ground, Kath felt relieved and no longer trapped. She could move and walk now but, she felt too weak. The pain in her stomach was no longer there and she could finally breathe again. Some of the people of Nazirites ran to the king to assist him in whatever way they could, which was obviously, worthless. The king's color has drained from his face; he looks so pale and his eyes were closing on their accords. The fact that he survived that, was the best thing that has happened to him in years. Stephen took some steps forward, followed by another, and another. When the people of Nazirites realized that Stephen was walking in the king's direction, they took some refraining steps making sure they had enough distance from Stephen and the King. At least, the soldiers had enough strength to take some refraining steps but her dad was too weak to swallow, talk more of standing on his feet to take some refraining steps same way the soldiers did. Stephen stopped walking immediately he got to where the king was. He bent down to his level and placed a finger under his chin as he raised his head, so he could look into his eyes. "Look into my eyes!" Stephen commanded with an authoritative tone, staring fiercely into the King's half-closed eyes. That seems like the hardest task the king had ever had, cause he was still struggling to keep these eyes which are literal closing to their own, opened. Stephen smiled mischievously, "You are so weak. I never imagined the king to be this weak! Well, I love dealing with weak people like you all. You must have admitted to yourself that, there is no way you can defeat me. You can't deny it cause, I can hear your thoughts. Oh, that reminds me, I haven't introduced myself..." Stephen stood on his feet as he turned to face everyone; still with that mischievous smile on his face, "I am Ravana, and as you all know, I am the leader of The Descendants of the black moon." The people of Nazirites gasped and their eyes almost fell off. Wait... you mean Ravana? Like RAVANA?! The Ravana the great Akiko told them about? Ravana came down himself to fight them? Yeah, this explains why it was so difficult to defeat him. This explains why he could pull out every sword and arrow that manages to get to his skin, with no hint of pain. This clarifies it all. Truly, just like the great Akiko has said, he is so powerful. The people of Nazirites would admit it over and over again. He is so powerful! Damn! "Stephen is dead; a long time ago. This is his fate; in fact, we've planned his future ahead of him. This is his destiny. He was destined to be used by me. I would commend, your fighting skills is... trash. Years back, I could remember my servant telling me that you all have been preparing with endless training for our descending. I also don't wanna believe that, after all those years of training, this is what you could come up with? Do you think that scrap called sword and arrows your holding would work on us? Like, you think you could defeat me and my servants with that garbage in your hands?! Wow! For the fact that you think you could defeat us, that makes you all a laughingstock to me, personally. Now listen to this, 1000 years ago, Ancestors had the power to win in a war. They won thousands of people all because of the power I gave them. Now tell me, who do you think you are? If I could give the power to defeat thousands of people, then, what makes you all think that, I can't kill you all even without a drop of my sweat coming in contact with the surface of the earth? Huh? You all are... Fools. I mean, both your king, your Princess and you all are clowns. One advise, one advise you should listen to, cause I won't say it twice; you give up now and admit defeat." He boasted and raised a brow waiting for anyone to admit defeat. After a moment of silence, a pregnant woman cleared her throat trying to get Ravana's attention, before asking, "If we give up, what will become of us?" Even when the people of Nazirites became shocked as to why she would consider giving up, Kath understood the reason for her question. Kath understood that, in their present situation, it will be difficult for a pregnant to cope. Even though she had a little support from the soldiers, it isn't enough to calm her down. They now live in fear which is terrible for the woman and that of her child's health. She understands, even if she gives up now, she was surely doing all this for the sake of her baby. At least, if giving up could make the baby survive, then she would take the risk! "It is very simple. I make you die peacefully and then you go to hell or, you work for me." His eyes scanned her body as it landed on her stomach; he hesitated for a while and continued, "Oh, I see, you're pregnant. Well then, I take back my words. For the sake of your baby, I will make you live. But the thing is, your baby has to die for you to live because your baby is of no use to me. Your baby dies and then you live to be under my subject. How about that?" Hello...Wake up! Is this what you get for giving up? The conditions are worst than not giving up. She said that just so, her child could survive, and then, all he could come up with was killing the child and making her work for him; that's lame. Whoever will adhere to this is a fool just like Ravana has said. The woman placed both hands and her huge stomach and mimicked him, "You kill my child and make me work for you?" She scoffed and she became even angrier, she flared up pointing her fingers at him, "you're insane. Can you hear yourself? How does that make sense to you? You want me to kill my child just so, I could live? Not to live a normal life but, to live to be under your subject. What is the essence of being alive when my child is dead? Never! Never would I sacrifice my child for..." The woman suddenly stop talking as her eyes widened. She held onto her stomach trying her best to stand properly. "Dealing with clowns is what I love most. You don't have a choice but you claim to. Since you don't want to see your child's death, how about I make it easier for both of you, then?" immediately Ravana had finished saying those words, the pregnant lady roughly twisted her neck. Immediately she fell to the ground and passed out. Just like that? Does he kill a pregnant woman? Why? What did she do wrong? To him, was that condition he gave enough reason to give up? "Yes! It is enough reason to give up," he turned to look at Kath and continued, "cause, the torment hasn't started yet. I came down personally today to test my powers and then, I return to hell. So I thought, I could bring those who are willing to give up, alongside me back to hell. The is just a tip of an iceberg; if you think this is the torment, then you've got to be kidding me. Three days, for now, I assure you, those who didn't give up while they had their choice to make, will regret the decision they made, they will run back to me begging, but they will be no ears to their pleads, cause..." He paused and turned to face the king, "I will make your people suffer; I will make them see death, and there is nothing, absolutely nothing you can do about it. Come to think of it, aren't I been too nice? I could easily possess all your bodies at the same time without your knowledge and you all will work under my subject and command until the day you die." He shook his head slowly and said to himself, "oh Ravana, you're too good to them, but these fools don't see it." He placed both hands behind his back as he walked back to the former position he was in. His words have gotten deep down into the soul of the people of Nazirites. They stare at one another out of freight. Well, they still have one hope left. At least, despite everything that has happened, the king and his daughter are still alive. "And if you think that, your king is still alive and he would fight for you..." He smirked and shook his head, "then, your heads aren't working properly. Cause the person you're depending on can easily be killed with just a snap of my finger, right here and right now." He made a small laugh and continued, "to me, your king is, even more, weaker than you all." The King would admit that this is the highest length is insult he someone has said to him. What? Even r than the people he trained? He all this so his people would see more reason to give up. Everyone knows it, the king, "was," powerful; yeah, he was, well, not until now. "Well, since no one is willing to give up, and, I don't have much time to waste on you guys, I should get myself busy with something interesting. According to research, a father's love is, even more, greater than the love the daughter has for him. So, I thought again, it will be too boring and too plain for your daughter to kill you right?" He asked the king. The king glared at him. Again, he made a small laugh and turned his back on them. "Well, you can glare all you want, that's known of my business. As I was saying, it will be too boring and plain for your daughter to just take your life." He resisted for a while and continued, "Why don't we have a switch then?" He turned to look at the king, but this time, with a clenched jaw, "how about, you kill your own..." Slowly, he diverted his gaze from the king to Kath and continued, "daughter." "Never! Never would I!" The king's voice thundered angrily throwing daggers at him. "Oh please, shut up!" Ravana replied irritatedly and gave him a dirty look, "you know, the funny part of this all? Is the fact that you think you have a choice. To me, your opinion doesn't matter. My command; is what you obey." Again, Ravana took some steps to the king; bent down, and raised his chin, "you should be begging little boy, and not acting like you have a choice; cause you to don't." He whispered the last part to him as he stood on his feet. Kath couldn't utter a word. Besides, Ravana tends to do exactly what he has in mind, so even if she starts screaming and begging, it means nothing to him. In fact, she knew Ravana would find pleasure in it. If this is her fate, then so be it!
