Chapter 8

If this is her fate, then so be it! Ravana snapped his fingers and a sword appeared in the hands of the king. Even when the king tried to get the sword off his grip, he just couldn't as it seemed like the sword was clued to his hand. You know what? Nothing seems shocking to them anymore cause they knew they were now in a world of fantasy, a world where the impossible becomes possible and no longer the land of Nazirite they once knew. Well, that was the last thing on their minds, for now, they were more concerned about the fact that their princess was about to be killed by her father: the king. So many things have happened in such a short while. One of their soldiers got possessed and has killed so many people in Nazirite, only to discover that it was Ravana who possessed it.  Kath almost got manipulated to death and at the same time, she got controlled and almost killed her father, and now, everything took turns and her father is about to kill her. Now, they understand why the great Atiko said back then that, "whoever will experience those monsters descending on earth will live in hell."  Just one monster has descended and almost all the soldiers are dead. This is something else. "On this dark day, let it be recorded that, the king of Nazirite killed his daughter: the princess of Nazirites." A little smile crept through his lips as he continues. "Do you know the major reason why I will make sure you kill your daughter and afterward you die? It is because..." He pointed his finger at the people of Nazirites and proceeded, "of this people. What will become of them if you and your daughter die? I can see that they are putting too much hope and trust in you and your daughter, which is the major reason why I will kill you both, and then, I watch quietly what will become of them. Have this in mind, I have been watching you all ever since your forefathers made a covenant with him and I am still watching you, my eyes are always around... you." His brows snapped together and his little smile slipped. His mouth set in a hard line as he turned furiously to Kath. Again, she felt trapped, but this time, it feels like an invisible thick rope has tied her hands and legs. That same burning sensational pain she felt earlier in her abdomen had increased triple times than it was. She didn't bother struggling cause she was too weak, and at the same time, she knew this isn't a physical thing that she could fight with. It was something... unseen. Now she understood the major reason why Ravana has been defeating them so skillfully.  He uses his physical and supernatural powers to fight with them. They only had physical power and tools, not the Supernatural power Ravana possesses, which also implies that they can't challenge him supernatural because they have no supernatural powers to challenge him with. Ravana swerved his gaze to the king and commanded. "On this day, I command you; Samuel, that whatever I say to you from now henceforth you shall obey without a choice!" Samuel? Kath marveled at how Ravana knew her dad's name was Samuel. Not everyone knows about that, except the council of Nazirites and of course, her. In fact, it was a taboo to call the king by his name. Whoever does this ought to be... beheaded. But then again, can Ravana be beheaded? That rule no longer exists in this present situation. This is now a world of fantasy so, there is no rule. The rules in Nazirites have been broken ever since Ravana descended. Even while others seem surprised, the king had this unexpected reaction. His face was just expressionless; it doesn't seem like he was affected by Ravana calling him by his name. His jaw set in a hard line with his eyes not leaving that of Ravana's. The soldiers of Nazirites were still standing a few meters away. It was as if Ravana has cast a spell of, "do not move an inch from where you are," cause they have been standing in that same position with no attempt of saving the king: specifically, their king. They are not to blame though, cause any attempt to save the king means death to them, the same way Kath will be considered, "dead," any moment from now. "Stand on your feet!" Ravana ordered and immediately the king stood up so energetic. The people wondered if this was the same king that couldn't stand on his feet a while ago. A few minutes before now, the king seems like he was going to pass out at any moment. His pale face was an obvious fact that he survived that torment from Ravana by... miracle. But now, he is standing on his feet with absolutely no sign of tiredness like the way he was before now. "Walk to your daughter and make sure that sword goes deep and deeper into her stomach. Make sure she is confirmed dead before you get back to me!" Ravana gave the king an authoritative order and he nodded his head. He started walking in Kath's direction. But something was off; he wasn't walking like himself. He was walking, more like, moving like a machine. He expresses no hint of emotion and his steps were just like an automatic-seeming way. What exactly possessed their king? A robot? Or a monstrous robot? "Hold on. Before we proceed, I have a question to ask you, dear Samuel." Ravana stated as the king turned to look at him at once.  "Go on, my Lord." The king responded. Wait a minute, did he just say, "my lord?" Like, MY LORD! Has Ravana finally possessed the king? What the hell is going on. "I am giving you a second chance now. Should I spare her life or the same way I want her dead, that's the way you also want her dead. The decision is yours now, Samuel. Think wisely before you speak, this is your chance and this is the only opportunity you have." The people of Nazirites except for Kath, silently thank their gods that, Ravana has finally allowed the king to make his own decisions. Besides, nobody would want their daughter dead, so Ravana must have gotten his answers by now. Everyone knows the king loved his daughter so much, so he wouldn't want to see her dead.  That question Ravana asked seems like it has lifted a burden from their shoulder because they knew that the king would make the right decision. But, even though the people felt relieved, Kath didn't. She felt like something was odd. To her, Ravana had other intentions. An intention that is best known to him and will be up to his Favour.  Ravana knew the king was not himself, so why did he decide to ask him that question when he knew the king was under his control. Besides, at this moment, whatever answer her father gives, he was been controlled to say those words.  Kath understood everything cause she has been there. But, the people of Nazirites can't... understand. Kath knew Ravana was trying to make him seem like a bad person, so some of the people in Nazirites would turn their backs against the king and probably end up with Ravana. "I.also.want.to.see.her.dead. She has always been a hindrance to me." The king replied. Ravana laughed rhetorically and nodded his head. Kath noticed that even the way her dad speaks was completely odd. Though, it was still his voice but, his worden; he pronounced them words by words. Everything about him was completely different. The people of Nazirites bat their lashes in astonishment. They were very confused and at the same time, they couldn't see reasons why the King would want to kill his only daughters, not just his only daughter, but his only child. Kath knew she was supposed to defend her dad at this point, but she was trapped. Her mouth is muted and the only thing she could do right now is just to, watch what will happen next and then... Expect death!
