The attention given by the Chief Receptionist to the hasty Church Attendant became solemn and obnoxious, the moment she reached the quest that intentionally picked in. Cassandra left gulped her throats at the moment, as she couldn't believe the Administration itself has put its gamble into her. Knowing that the quest rank given by it had seemed difficult to bear and only few could handle. Not as what to be expected by the minds of Cassandra Smith, in which the only reason she purposely came in was supposed to redeem some of her lost prestige. "Why... Why are you giving this to me? Am I allowed to handle this one?" She simply asked with agitation about her feeling. People around them became shocked and astonished at it, as they knew the only ones allowed to picked the said quest were the strongest and mightiest Adventurers wanting to gain glory and popularity with valiant action and consideration. Not to mention the dangers and peculiar things inside the quests lies unexpectedly. Nathalia Condor simply nodded without anticipation, ordering for a slight order and detesting her capabilities and distinction towards the chosen mission. "Would you mind accepting it?" She simply asked with a grim smile on her face, slowly emitting some vicious magic presence resembling her solemn action momentarily. "Afraid not from these... Apparently, you're not the only one accepting this quest." She added her thoughts with assurance. Cassandra seemed perplexed with slight delight on accepting the mission, initially couldn't help but make a contract with it at first. But then, one thing in her mind that always made puzzling and mumbling, to the point that she made restless and uneasy due to it. "What about the details of this quest? Does anything about it have a description nor reason for taking this one in a serious matter?" She directly asked the Chief Receptionist without hesitation, seeking for an uncertain truth to be unveiled. Unfortunately, Nathalia sadly refusing on given her the request. Not because of the secrecy and classified to be informed by the ears and understanding of the public. But because some of them didn't know about the details personally as well. All that she knows, was only a few people in the Administration were the ones having contact with the uncertain enemies in a decisive battle. The higher ranks were the ones giving it to the receptionist and made it posted not just to the said Village, but the entire town's territory also. "Is that so? ... How sad it is..." She felt discouraged yet thrilled at the same time, simply wanted on getting involved in the entire situation that happened in the shadows. "Mind if I asked who will be participating in this mission?" Cassandra bluntly nodded. . Fortunately, Nathalia granting her request. "Sino Siprovic -- A-rank / Marksman Class. "Elly Geomanhan -- AA rank / Fighter Class. "Nala Aang -- A-rank / Support Class. "Ethel Casino -- A-rank / Mage Class. "Lette Are -- AA rank / Tank Class. "Stripe Stripper -- AA rank / Fighter Class. "Misho Santa -- Adventurer Knights. "Pista Rambutan -- Adventurer Knights. . "And other 8 unnamed people... That's most of them wanting to take the quest so far." She concluded the mentioned people and Adventurers with pride and hopes towards them. Cassandra went surprised at first, knowing that the three people Nathalia mentioned were seemingly familiar through her mind and consciousness. 'Pista-san and Misho-san are joining as well, how surprising... Thinking this one would be difficult and serious to be completed. Just what are these kinds of monsters are we fighting up against?' 'Eeehh... Misa's pathetic, arrogant boyfriend... Hahahahahah! A clown for the raid... How exhilarating!' She left smug and unnoticingly laughing for a second. As soon as things are getting settled, Nathalia Condor simply responding to her once again. In regards to accepting the quest they intuitively tackled it. And so, in a spur of a moment; Without having regret and second thoughts thinking sagaciously on her mind, Cassandra Smith genuinely accepting the quest that most chosen ones strongly dealing with. The meeting place and gathering time will be held as soon as the participants reach 20. Every single one of them started to train with certain accordance of their will, knowing the uncertain outcome of facing up the strong, inevitable enemies that horrifyingly coming into their way in no time. . . . [Outside the Village Territory] Dawn near evening where Lylia along with other selective Entities suddenly reaching a place where the highest amount of awakening presence emitted that she sensed repulsively. It was a dark, malicious aura that she felt, approximately 10 Kilometers ahead just in front of her. Without knowing for everything that might be coming into their way, the thoughts having on her mind simply went straight-forward, aiming for a certain possibility of seeking allies objectively. Neto utterly didn't like the surroundings they'd reached in, as her sense of touch she instinctively felt was astoundingly everywhere throughout the paths she had been reached, far different than her usual vibe into it. From trees, water from a river, vines from where they crossed, to some droplets from the rain had been sensed tremendously throughout her sense of touching. ! it is different! With a huge discomfort constantly surges through her feeling, Neto generally notified Malina and Renrub on looking for other spaces and directions coming into Lylia. As they didn't know what exactly happened about the consequences for disobeying the orders given by her to the Church Pastor. It was at first, Lylia relentlessly accepting the fact that the stubbornness and resilience coming from them had made it commendable yet painful to be thinking. She gallantly taking them along knowing the distances and amount of travel they hardly enough to reach her, are way farther to retreat nonetheless. Not to mention the intensive amount of other wild monsters and magic creatures lurking around the Village territory would be insanely vast and pitiful to deal with. "Don't do anything stupid!" You got me?" Lylia solemnly commanding the squad of Entities with a small, childish voice that mortifies her entire appearance. She made blushed on herself as the result. The 3 Entity people (Ais not included) heard and understood what she ordered from them. However, due to her voice and angelic posture that instantly intimidating even from them, they couldn't make it serious and began imitating into her for the whole time. ~ Several tens of minutes had passed, the squad of Entities finally reached the place where Lylia objectively directed. A square of an area covered with bamboo forest surrounding a small, unoccupied compound was the place the Entity people took place. At least 30 houses to be measured as what Renrub sincerely counted at the moment. A lot of remaining traces coming from the unidentified inhabitants had been found enormously. As if people living in the said place before had been leaving their households in a panic that horrendously happened for a short period. Chores seemingly clean and untouched, ritual talismans and other sophisticated ornaments are seeing unscratched and putting on their places randomly, statues unbroken, clothes didn't seem to steal. Everything they'd saw was nothing but incomprehensible towards the people leaving the place as nothing happened. Everything seemed ordinary from seeing through naked eyes at first. However, sensing it is far different and deeper in applicative intuition. It was far different and disturbing to be seen by any other. In which 3 out of 5 of them instantly noticing about it. "By smelling this cup on this table, is very stinky and disgusting. Like a dead fish floating in the sea." Neto is bluntly distraught at the moment. "I see, so that was likely into it... These monsters firstly came into this place and taking to the path where we crossed in afterward. By burning some of the clothes the people left idled in this room, I can see the difference of color through its smoke with clarity." Renrub utterly does the same thoughts, sincerely explaining most of the things that he saw into it completely. "What do you mean by that? Did these monsters reaching this place first before they went to the Village?" Malina nervously asked with sincerity and deepest concern, surprisingly couldn't hold herself but to felt disarray and eagers on dealing the enemies with absolute anger and force towards her strong insight and conviction. "What do you guys see today is to know how tricky and malignant these monsters we'd facing against, as you guys see the clothes I hardly picked in both of my hands. One of which had tainted with a monster's Magic essence, the other one does not." Renrub audaciously giving a strong example in front of the other Entities. Other Entities as well calmly listened with the deliverance of being attentive. Soon, Renrub slowly putting both clothes at the same time into a different furnace that he also created just for the experiment. The constant cloud of smoke coming from the clothes had been changed horrendously. In which one tainted with a monster's magic essence had turned into a pitch-black color, while the other one is a compound white color. Everyone seemed surprised nor astounded to what they saw on it for an instant, clearly uncertain for the appearances coming from the enemies they'd face in. Aside from being difficult to seek with, the monsters on their other character side were drastically cheeky and wise that fighting up against them unknowledgeable would unlikely cause their lives mortifying. "But what if the people living in this place were the Demi-beings, that Yaka-dono firstly mentioned to us long before?" "She evenly told us the whereabouts of her kindred before other Entities unwantedly deriving them into nomadic." "That would be sub-sufficient..." Ais and Malina misunderstood what Renrub generally pointing to. "Just look back at the smoke where the white smoke immersively forming in the air." The two slowly nodding upwards, as Renrub told into them. /Smoke nonchalantly changes into white-green color and smelling absolutely in comparison to a burned meat and bones./ /Wind surging inside the forest./ /Both black and white smoke constantly spreading./ As Renrub gallantly mentioned the difference between the magical creatures and monsters to the people and other races. He utterly forgot, nor didn't told into them the other components differ to the other races as well. It was way a lot for him to know about everything. All does it think he knows, is something very important and reasonable to remember for future use. "For that thing, you two instantly noticed and vigorously sniffing right through your noses... It was clearly stated that those were the Demi-beings." He left conclusive with a clear smug on his face. Neto seemed amazed afterward, couldn't stop praising Renrub for a few seconds that causing him to blushed exquisitely. Lylia felt nothing different compared to the two as well, as she stares menacingly at a certain statue that constantly emitting some magic aura, horrendously spreading throughout its vicinity. As she finally reached into the main reason for arriving insignificantly throughout the entire day. A black, massive amount of magic aura, spreading mercilessly like an eruption of a small volcano bursting on a tiny island. !A statue of a Dragon... Has a consciousness inside and emitting some evil presence?! Lylia herself couldn't believe what she just saw at the moment, repulsively widened her eyes out of shock that her entire body became stunned and motionless all around of it. In a blink of a second, being attentive throughout her senses and involuntarily maxing out her consciousness. "Is this bait? How could this be?" The first thing Lylia had putting on her mind in an instant, as she intuitively understood the situation where they currently stood in. "No... I could be---" She felt gullible to what she saw unintentionally. As she quickly nodding on her back, seconds after she heard a loud clapping of footsteps randomly rumbling towards her direction. The 4 other Entity people who seemingly following her right away, completely began adamant and motionless right after they saw the said statue that blasting forth its unknown, malicious Aura into them, blindly illuminating its entire surroundings at a constant distance. "Noo!" Lylia shockingly screamed with a trembling action on her body, initially trying to protect them with enough force and as quick as she possibly could. !Bang! /A sudden blink of light blasting obliterated throughout its surroundings./ /A massive form of blast exploded with deafening and singularity./ /Constant rim of light circling throughout the entire village and its vicinity./ In a spur of a moment; Everything surrounded the statue of the Sea Dragon is instantly wiping out, like detonating the bomb that silently ticking upcoming from out of nowhere and viciously exploding into its vicinity with malice. Not a single one had been seen nor any other things that we're able to trace are profounding to the exploding area. Even the statues that were seemingly hard to break didn't spar from the amount of power given by the explosion. A huge, dome of ground encircling through the Sea Dragon Statue had been found extensively. Approximately 100 meters on its diameter to be measured as a matter of fact. Not only that, the entire surroundings surround it had started emitting some vicious, wild magic essence that covers the entire ground into a dark, repugnant mass spreading into it. Nothing was able to withstand but the statue of the Sea Dragon remained after the unexpected explosion. . . ***To be Continued***
