Raelynn
I walked down the stairs in my pale green dress and silver high heels.
I applied light make-up and red lipstick.
I want to look confident on my first day of school.
This is my last year of high school. Normally, I could have graduated any time as I had enough credits, but Damon insisted I learn about werewolves, and it's only for the remaining months of the year.
So, today I am going to attend Wolf Academy. It's the equivalent of a high school, as I have been told.
Just as we learned about werewolves, Damon told me to pack my workout clothes because I would also receive physical training.
"I will drop you off at school, Nathan said as I ate my breakfast."
I nodded and picked up my blue backpack and went out after him.
The ride to school was uneventful as he escorted me inside and took me to the admissions office where he handed me my admission letter and introduced me to the principal.
He went away as I remained in school and completed the admission process.
I received my schedule and locker number.
The principal told me I could join school tomorrow officially, but for now I should just familiarize myself with the environment.
"Jake will show you around the school, the principal said, mind linking one of the students.
A while later, a boy with black hair and brown eyes and sun-kissed skin walked into the office.
"Hi, I am Jake, he said, extending his hand to me.
"Hi I am Raelynn, I took his hand.
"Come, I will show you around, he said, gesturing outside with his hand.
We went out of the office with my timetable and locker number in hand.
He first took me to my locker, where I placed my bag and went around school afterward.
The next hour we spent looking around the school. Thankfully, all the students are in class and I didn't pump into anyone.
Once I looked around the school, I decided to start my classes today and I was more than happy to see chemistry was my next lesson.
Chemistry is my absolute favorite subject.
Unfortunately, Jake doesn't take chemistry, so I headed to class alone after the bell rang among crowds of students.
I went inside the class as the students took seats and took the last vacant seat in the back of the class.
Everyone glanced at me puzzled, perhaps wondering if I was lost.
"Hey, I am Kristina, and you are," asked a red head sitting beside me.
"I am Realynn, a new student, I replied audibly, pushing down the nervousness I was feeling from the attention I was getting.
The teacher walked in before she could answer me.
"Hello class, a new student will be joining us soon, Raelynn Keller, so please be welcoming, the teacher announced, looking around the class before his gaze fell on me.
"Oh, it looks like she is already here. You can get to know her later, he said before starting the class.
I took out my book and listened attentively. After all, chem is my absolute darling.
It seems they teach the same chemistry. I thought it would be different, so I guess all the subjects are the same.
Dang!
The bell rang, and I got up to head for my next history class, which is my least favorite.
"Hey Raelynn, I heard Nathan dropped you off, Kristina said, walking behind me."
"How do you know, I asked, surprised."
"Oh, Nathan is my brother, he told me about you, sorry I wasn't at the pack house last night, she replied with a cheeky smile."
"Yes, the Alpha asked him to drop me off, I told her."
"What do you have next, she asked, peeking at my timetable."
"Oh, history, I also have it. Let's go. I will accompany you to get your books, and then we can go together, she said, wrapping her hand around my arm."
"Is this my first friend?" I thought as I walked to my locker whilst smiling at her slightly.
"Do they allow wolfless s**t in The Wolf Academy now?" A high-pitched voice sounded behind me as I sorted my books out.
I turned back to see one of my most dreaded people on earth, Claire Wilson, my half sister.
Oh, I forgot that other packs also study at this school.
"Or maybe they allow mannerless people, I retorted, looking at her coldly."
I might be introverted, but that's not an excuse for anyone to walk all over me.
You better steer clear of me if you don't want your ass handed to you.
"You are not worthy of being here." "Get out, you wolfless worthless thing," She said, looking at me with hatred.
"And what gives you the qualifications to tell me where I can or cannot be ? I asked back coldly."
Now the students were gathering around the place looking at us.
"Just because I have a wolf, and I am superior to you, she said, inching closer as if to intimidate me."
"Ha ha ha. What an international joke, you think you are superior to me. You know what, if it was true, and you actually thought so, you would not come to me in the first place. You feel inferior to yourself and that's why you must come to insult me. In order to feel good about myself, I said, laughing and tearing down her facade.
"You....., She raised her hand to slap me."
"Stop it, who do you think you are to raise a hand on our Pack members?" Kristina held her hand and growled at her.
I gave her a grateful look even though I was about to do the same thing.
It feels nice to have a friend.
"You will pay for this, Claire said, stomping her feet and walking away."
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes at her as she walked angrily.
Everyone else dispersed as well.
I thanked Kristina, and we headed to the next class.
