Fourteen

  Kanaya and the others have arrived at the residence of Mr. Bobi's parents, his superiors. Since it was located in a village and was no longer inhabited, the place could be said to be relatively quiet and safe.

  Mr. Iwan had complained, but finally he gave up after knowing what happened at the hospital. In his luck, he survived the attempted assassination. Now all he could do was hide in that place so he could stay alive.

  Adrian saw the news about the incident at the hospital on television. Even though he knew his wife was on duty there, he didn't care. Now, in his mind is only in Shelly.

  The young girl fulfill his mind came to see him. Adrian immediately embraced his lover. The tight clothes that Shelly wore really made Adrian's passion flare up uncontrollably. All must be go out immediately to get satisfied.

  Not long after that, Adrian fall asleep beside Shelly. The young girl looked at him with a smile.

'So easy, so easy to get any man i want.'

  Her memories then flashed on Luke.

'You too will surely fall into my hand. No man has ever been able to withstand my charms.'

  She then turned to Adrian who was still sleep

'After i get him, I'll throw you out, honey, because honestly I'm tired of you.'

  Sabrina told Kanaya and Mr. Bobi about the incident at the hospital.

  "This killer is very reckless. Taking advantage of other people and killing them when they are no longer useful, even forcing them to commit suicide. This makes it very difficult to catch," said Mr. Boby

  "Then what has the identity of the young man who died? Did his relationship with the killer been found?"

  Sabrina shook her head.

"He is just a poor student who needs money to support his younger siblings in his village."

  "These killer know that and are taking advantage of their weaknesses. We must catch him soon, otherwise more people might be taken advantage of."

  Kanaya sat on the chair in front of Sabrina. A dark brown wooden table was between the two female detectives.

  "What are you hiding from us?" Kanaya said while staring intently at the partner she had always trusted.

  "Nothing," said Sabrina, shaking her head.

Kanaya kept her gaze fixed on the young girl. Not for a second did he take her eyes off Sabrina.

  "Don't lie, Sabrina! One of our men said at the time a young man came to see you. Who is he?"

  Sabrina took a deep breath, then closed the document she had just opened and had not had time to study.

  "Luke. He was there that day and came to see me to cheer me up. That's all. Any problems?"

  "Yeah, big problem. Don't you feel anything strange?"

  "What? What's strange? He just came to see me. Where's the strange about that?"

  "Why is he in the hospital?"

Sabrina rolled her eyes. She don't know what's wrong with Kanaya, she always suspects someone without solid evidence.

  "Kanaya, dozens of people were in the hospital at that time. Are you going to suspect all of them too?" said Sabrina annoyed.

  "But, I still feel something is wrong with that Luke."

  Sabrina just shook her head while taking a deep breath.

  Kanaya thought for a moment, then suddenly asked,

"How about you meet me with Lukr? I want to ask him directly."

  For a moment, Sabrina looked doubtful. However, she finally nodded in agreement.

  Luke really didn't expect Sabrina to call first to ask to meet. According to observations during meeting the girl for the umpteenth time, Sabrina is not one of girl who like to chase men. However, of course he did not refuse.

  'This is a great opportunity to get closer to her and know more about this case.'

  Reina had scared when she found out about Sabrina's invitation to meet. She was worried it was all a trap. Apart from that, there are other things stuck in the heart. 

 What if Luke really fell in love with Sabrina? Luke was raised without ever knowing love and feelings, but he is still a human whose heart can change.

  However, Luke still insisted on leave to meet Sabrina. He didn't want to waste the opportunity to get closer to Sabrina.

  The atmosphere in the restaurant looks calm. The classic and majestic nuance that is served makes the visitors feel comfortable. Various paintings and carvings are also placed to add to the beauty of the dining area.

  Luke was taken aback for a moment. As an orphan who lived without relatives since childhood, he never imagined that he could enter such a place. If his parents were still around, they would be happy to visit that place.

The pain seemed to pierce the body. In the past, if he cried remembering his father and mother, the people of the organization would definitely scold or beat him. They replaced all the feelings in his hearts into anger, hatred, and revenge. That was all, that was until now on him. Until he stood in front of the colonial-style restaurant and lost thought of his parents.

   "What happened to you?" says Sabrina.

"Are you okay?"

   The girl suddenly stood beside him and stared intently.

   Luke's pale face and cold sweat running down his forehead made Sabrina worried. However, that man then grabbed her hand.

"I'm fine. Let's go in!"

   Luke sat cross-legged staring at the woman in front of him, who glared back. Earlier, Sabrina introduced to him that the woman is her colleague and senior. Luke felt uncomfortable with the presence of the woman named Kanaya. The probing gaze that had been directed at him earlier make Luke know that he couldn't hide anything.

  "Kanaya wants to meet you," said Sabrina suddenly trying to melt the tension. She felt bad for Luke. The man must have felt awkward with Kanaya's presence.

  Sabrina cleared her throat for a moment.

"Okay, I'll be back for a bit."

  The two person with her remained silent. Sabrina immediately left with a sense of misgivings. Actually, she didn't want to go, but Kanaya said that she wanted to have a private talk with Luke.

  Luke took a sip of the drink in front of him before putting it back on the table.

  "Why did you approach Sabrina? What is your goal?" asked Kanaya suddenly. Her black eyes remained fixed on the young man in front her

  "I like Sabrina," answered Luca curtly.

  "Don't lie to me! You can't lie to me like you tricked Sabrina."

  "Are you always this suspicious of everyone?"

  "I know what kind of person you are. You're not a good person! You'd better be honest now and tell me what motivated you to approach Sabrina?"

  Luke chuckled as he shook his head.

"You suspect me too much. I've told you the truth that I like Sabrina. I'm in love with her. It's up to you to believe it or not, it's none of my business, and as far as I know, you're just her collegae, not Sabrina's family, so whatever you think, it has no effect on me."

  Kanaya's eyes flashed with anger. She then stood up while still staring intently at Luca.

  "Liars like you won't last long! I will find out everything and expose your secret in front of Sabrina."

   Luke smiled a little.

"Try it if you can! Before that, you better just think about yourself, not mind other people's business."
