Regret? Forgiveness?

Rowen's words were harsh as if he was giving Harris a kind of warning.

"Do you want the Dragon Kingdom to make another meteor pack?" Austin came ahead and threatened Harris. How could Ethan keep quiet in such a situation? He pulled the hand sleeves up.

"Speak the truth at once. We want to hear it. Or else you won't be able to visit your pack again." Ethan greeted his teeth.

Harris stared at me and then his eyes moved to my step sisters. He wasn't that powerful wolf who could fight any prince alone, not even me. His forehead filled with tiny sweat beads, and his eyes turned smaller.

“Rowen, Why are you scaring him? Isn't he telling the truth about that night? If he wasn't present at the party, how can he be so accurate about her situation after the party.." Cherry asked him, I tapered my eyes. Her being defensive about Harris made me annoyed.

"Cherry is right. Getting into the vampire pack house wasn't a big task that night, He told everything. what kind of truth do you want now?" Catty said I knew these girls would not let Harris tell the truth. I need to do something. But what? I was thinking about it when my eyes fell on a waiter carrying a tray of drinks for the guests. He was standing behind Cherry.

"I will tell you what truth I want." I took the drink and immediately threw it on Harris's face. Seeing this, everyone was shocked, even three princes were shocked. My actions made them feel childish.

"Ahh... Daisy..." Harris rubbed his eyes, the drink spread over his face. His eyes started burning because of the alcohol. He grabbed a tissue paper and began wiping his face. Everyone was dumbfounded. He wiped his face and eyes thoroughly with that tissue paper. “Daisy, Why did you do that..” Harris asked me.

When he had removed the tissue paper from his face, I smirked at him. I turned back and found everyone appeared so stunned. Even Rowen, Austin and Ethan's faces turned red with anger.

"What happened, why are you all looking at me like this?" Harris asked, he had no idea that his truth was almost exposed.

I gestured towards Jaslee and she brought a mirror in front of Harris. Harris was surprised to see his face in the mirror. The Purple lense had come out of his eye and stuck to his forehead. His eyes were blue, like those of a native American.

"Are you going to tell people that the lens in your other eye is fake or shall I take it out by my own hands?" I went ahead to pinch his eye aggressively. My teeth were greeting that he could hear its ear-piercing noise. He was so scared, I wanted to take his eyes off his socket. I ran to him so boldly that he almost placed his hands and covered his eyes.

"Daisy... Don't do that.." He said and took out the other lens with a yellow eye colour. His light blue eyes were visible to everyone. This shocked princes even more. The biggest evidence he was carrying was those eye colours that were similar to my Gideon. He claimed that he was the father of Gideon and everyone just believed it because of those eyes, but they turned out to be fake.

"Oh s**t. He was faking it. He was an imposter." The crowd began muttering. Everything was clear. I watched Rowen, Austin and Ethan's regretful faces. Cherry and my other sisters were so disappointed, their hearts must have broken to see that Gideon was not Harris' son.

I took my phone and held it in front of him.

"So I seduced you that night? Tell us the truth or I would ask your mate to come here. I heard you have a gamma partner. Will she stay with you when she comes to know that you spent a night with me?" I threatened him, he was scared to death. He shook his head and started begging to my feet.

"I am sorry Daisy. I am sorry. Don't call my mate here. I love her so much. I never met you before. I didn't sleep with you. Gideon had no relation with me. I never heard your name before. I was not even going to the party that night. Everything I said that day was false. I am sorry that I lied to you." He said and everyone's jaws dropped. The revelation made Rowen and the other princes like lightning struck their heads.

"Forgive me, Daisy, Please forgive me." He was crying holding my feet. I was scared that I would fall.

"Leave my feet, Harris," I told him, but he shook his head. He was not ready to leave it. I jerked my feet and scolded him. "Leave my feet, I said," I said again.

"Don't call my mate here. She is pregnant and she will leave me.". He almost started crying, he was begging and asking me not to call her mate here. I smirked,

"I don't have her number," I said and he raised his head. He stared at me with a puzzled face.

"I didn't call anyone." I stared at the three princes, "I didn't do it because I wanted to prove myself right. But I did it because I want to prove others wrong." I stated. Princes exchanged their glances with each other. Harris got up and stood near me.

"Now everything is clear that he wasn't there that day. He had no connection with you or Gideon." Catty said with a forceful smile on her face. She was so poor in acting that she would never turn her modelling career into acting.

"Not everything is clear," I told her and grabbed Harris's collar. "Now tell me who made you do this. You know my situation that night, means someone made you mug up those things. Someone paid you to do this." I said, staring at my step sisters. I didn't accuse them, but why do I feel like it would be one of them or all of them? Their defensiveness for Harris made me more curious to know about it.

"What.." Harris asked. Before I could say anything, Rowen came forward grabbed Harris by his collar and started asking him.

"Tell me, on whose words did you do all this? Tell me right now or the Vampire pack will attack the meteor pack right now." Rowen's intense gaze fell over him. I could see how angry Rowen was right now.

"Yeah. I am telling you. Just leave my collar." Harris said while rolling his gaze over the entire crowd. He was watching everyone's faces with seriousness. I realised I was wrong because I thought my step sisters were the culprit. After all, they were the only ones who were going to benefit from Harris.

"Umm.." Harris Raised his finger and pointed it towards Cherry, Cherry's face looked worried.

"Is it Cherry?" I asked him, and he shook his head. His finger moved towards Clara, she was scared to see it.

"Is it Clara?" I asked but he shook his head again and pointed his finger at Catty. Catty's eyes widened as if it would pop out. I asked about it again but he refused, he moved his finger through the crowd. I realised he was not ready to tell the name and was just passing the time. I got irritated.

"Who told you to do this?" I asked that question again. "Tell me the truth, or I will ask to bring your mate here. If you think I am joking then see her coming here." I clarified. Instead of saying anything, Harris pushed me hard and I fell on the floor.

"Ahh.." My head hit the table and it started bleeding. The three princes came to lift me. Harris took this opportunity and he immediately ran out of the pack house.

"Catch him, Right now," Rowen screamed at the guards standing at the main gate. They nodded and followed Harris out. I sat on the grass, holding a tissue paper over my wound.

"Daisy, are you okay? Is it aching?" Ethan asked me, he sounded so worried about me. I nodded and got up. I was disappointed to see that Harris already ran away. We weren't able to know about the person who was sent here.

I fixed my gown and got up from my place. The guests continued their gossip as if a movie had just ended.

I saw regret on everyone's faces and the guilt that enveloped them. I was satisfied, proving them wrong. Now my reason for coming to the party had ended so I needed to leave. I started walking towards the gate, but three princes appeared before me and blocked my path.

"Daisy... where are you leaving?" Rowen asked, there was guilt in his voice. The pain of not trusting me, I was witnessing it all.

"That's what I came here for. Now I must go, I don't want to spoil Cherry, Clara and Catty's birthday." I said looking at my step sisters.
