Bullies

Selena POV: I slammed my locker door in frustration. My back hurt and burned, I felt a scab break every single time I moved. I was also starving, weirdly more than usual. This time it was harder to control or douse with water, I needed food and it was like I was going to become feral for it. The bell rang for the second time and that meant that it was either I get to class now or I get detention and if I miss work at the pack house, I lose my dinner for the night. I usually disliked the broth they made but right now, I was so hungry that my mouth watered for that broth. What was wrong with me!? I speed walked to history class when suddenly I was hit with a massive force and there was an erupter or male and female laughter. "Watch where you're walking Selena!" Came Isaac's stupid voice and I was fuming now, which usually, I was extremely good at bottling. I think it was the adrenaline because I pushed myself up quite fast and before he could react, swung the hardest punch that I had ever made. He fell backwards on to the ground and looked stunned, I looked at my bloodied fist and couldn't help but smile. "I'll show this b***h!" Growled Alice, what her problem was with me, I'll never know! She forced herself in front of a fuming Isaac that was crawling up into a standing position, his eyes were black and I knew that his wolf wanted my blood, I thought back to yesterday at how he ripped the throat off a rogue and subconsciously felt my own throat, would he do that to me? I was so deep in my thoughts about Isaac, I didn't see Alice try to slap me but it never landed, because there he was gripping her wrist tightly but staring at me deeply with his hazel eyes. I felt a kind of fluttering in my stomach in that moment, it was like the whole world had disappeared and it was just the two of us. "Ethan!" Whined Alice, her blonde curls bouncing as she tried to break free from his grip, "Alice," he said annoyed as he pulled his eyes away from mine, "what were you doing?" he asked, "she hit Isaac! I was not going to let some mutt-" before she could finish that sentence, Ethan's hand had struck her face, the slap echoing through the hall. The slap demanded silence and it got it, not because Alice didn't deserve it but because Ethan had slapped someone. Everyone was shocked. It was my turn to slink away before I got blamed for this, "Ethan, what the f**k!?" Yelled Issac as he rushed towards Alice, my eyes narrowed at their closeness and familiarity in each other's arms. Kind of weird but okay! Ethan looked at me and stormed towards me, he stared at me for a few seconds before storming off. "That slap was meant for you mutt!" Snapped Isaac, "I don't know what game you're playing but you'll get whipped for this!" He pulled a weeping Alice away as the crowd started to dissolve. I was angry and confused as to why this had anything to do with me. Isaac, Alice, Ethan... All of it made my head spin. Why were they such ass holes! I started running and pushed through the blue doors that lead out into the cold morning air, it was ten but the sun had still not greeted us today. It was a miserable day but it suited me and it made me feel like I wasn't the only person in the world that was angry and upset. Lightening flashed across the sky and then I heard the loud thunder, meaning the lightning struck quite close. The rain started pouring down hard and I started walking back to the pack house.
