"So what are you gonna do to Vladimir?" I said to Colton. He sighs.
"I have to find him. Maybe I can find him somewhere." Colton said
"Why don't you go to that Seprinter coven?" Cris suggested while his mouth was full of food. We laughed at the wrong name given to Vladimir's coven.
"Ha!Ha!Ha! It's Septentriones, not Seprinter!" I said.
"Whatever! Oh, this clubhouse is awesome! Do you have another one?" Cris ask me. I arched my brow.
"You make for yourself if you are still hungry," I said to him.
"Oh, you make this delicious sandwich, maybe you can make me one." I give him a deadpan look.
"Ok, give me $500 bucks." As I open my palm to him.
"Oh, don't bother. I can make my sandwich deliciously as you did." He said and stand from the couch. He goes to the kitchen to make his sandwich. I shook my head, smiled, and glanced at Colton who also suppresses his laughing.
Third Person's POV
The trio stopped talking when the news on television attracted their attention about Seward Park.
"And in the news on Seward Park, a new victim of k********g is recorded yesterday. The victim's name is Christine Scott. According to her mom, she went to school in the morning and never came back the night. They report it in the Seward Park Police district and until now the parent's victim and the police authority don't have a clue of her whereabouts. Then in the other news..."
Click! As the sound of the remote control turned off. Allyson did it. The two look to Allyson. Allyson shrugs his shoulder.
"Nothing new. Hey, I have an idea. Why don't we have to go to Seward Park?" I suggested. Colton played his fingers on his chin looking at me.
"Look, Colton. You are looking for Vladimir, right? Maybe, Vladimir has to do with what is happening to Seward Park. Don't you think so? Let's go there. We might get a clue. What do you think?" Allyson smirked. Colton's face is lightened by what Allyson said.
"I like your idea. But you will come with me?" Colton asked in surprise.
"Yes, why not? I will request to assign there." Allyson said proudly. Cris choked on his drink.
"Hey, buddy are you nuts? You said Vladimir is a vampire, and you are human. How can you fight him, you, i***t!" Cris hissed.
"So? This is an adventure and this is the opportunity we can witness the existence of vampires and other creatures lurking in that place maybe." Allyson sips his coffee in a teasing manner.
"W-what?! Are you serious? I'm not going with you if you are serious." Cris embraced himself pulling his legs upward. He curved into a ball position. His face was pale and his expression was frightened. Allyson gave him a deadpan look.
"Hey, I don't force you lest invite you. You, coward." Allyson sneered at him. Colton gave them a faint smile watching the two bickerings.
"Ok. If that is your decision, Ali, call me when you are ready. I'm glad to work with humans like you." And he reaches his hand to shake Allyson. Allyson accepts it firmly.
"Yes, buddy. I'll call you tomorrow." Allyson said. Cris bulged his eyes looking at Allyson.
"Sure. It won't take long. I'm going now. Thank you for the snack and warm welcome, Allyson, and to you also Cris." Colton said with a sincere smile.
"Sure no problem," Cris said.
"Anytime, buddy," Allyson said. Then Colton left the unit and went to his pack.
In the morning, Allyson knocked in the office of his Chief Superior. Knock. Knock.
"Come in." He heard the voice from inside. He opened the door and saluted his superior. His superior replied to his salute.
"Take your seat, Officer Alder." Said Chief Douglas Johnson. Allyson takes a sit.
"Sir, I request you to assign me to Seward Park." The chief glanced at him.
"Why?" As his chief asked him with surprise. Allyson cleared his throat.
"Sir, I will go to accompany my grandmother in Seward Park. She is alone there and I am worried about her. I know you know what is happening to Seward Park, right?" He said. The chief nodded.
"Yes. I didn't know that you have your grandmother there." Allyson says.
"Yes, sir. And she is stubborn as a bull. How many times I told her she must live with me here in New York but she refuse." As Allyson said helplessly.
"Oh, and she didn't follow you here?" Chief Johnson asked in surprise.
"Yes." Allyson sighed, remembering her grandmother refusing his request many times. He didn't understand why his grandmother don't want to leave Seward Park. The chief sighed and was silent for a moment. After a while;
"Ok. I agree with you. I'll make your transfer to Seward Park right away. Come back here after an hour." Chief Johnson said.
"Thank you, boss. Permission to leave, sir." As Allyson gave a salutation to his superior. The chief replied to him. And he walked out of the office.
He gave a call to Colton. Colton answered him immediately.
"Yes?! How is it?" Colton excitingly asked.
"Good! I will get my transfer in an hour."
"That is good. I will go to your unit now. Is Cris there?" Colton asked.
"Yes. Today is his day off." Allyson answer.
"Ok. Good. See you at your pad." Colton says.
"Ok." Then Allyson hangs up.
Allyson's POV
After I went to my superior office I called Colton and then go straight to the Canteen. Since I'm not yet taken my breakfast, I did order.
I pierced the bread and dipped it in my coffee before I ate it. Then I slice the remaining bread and put the butter inside it before I stuffed it in my mouth.
After an hour I go back to my chief's office to get my transfer. So I am grateful to my superior for approving my request fast.
When I'm home, Colton is already there at the parking, waiting for me.
"Hey, This is Lex and Alex. The twin warriors of our pack." I nodded and shook hands with the twins.
"Hey, how are you both?" I said.
"This is Allyson." Said, Colton. The two smiled and shook my hand firmly.
"Ok. got to go in my unit first to get my things," I said.
"Ok,"
"Ok,"
"Ok,"
I hurriedly go to my unit to get my luggage. When I got there, Cris was in the living room with his luggage, too. I frowned when I see him.
"Hey, why do you pack your luggage, too?" I questioned him as I strode to my bedroom and pulled my luggage.
"I -I have to go with you since I cannot stop you." He pouted. My mouth shape was 'O'.
"Is that so? Did the chief agree with you?" I asked him suspiciously.
"Yes. Here is my assignment." He said as he gave me his document. I scanned it and gave him back with amusement.
"So you ready to meet vampires, werewolves, and other supernaturals?
"Y-yes." His face paled. I doubted him.
"Ok. If that is so. come on, Colton is in the parking area with his team. Let not make them wait for long." As I lead outside my unit. He cheerfully followed me. I locked my unit and went to the elevator with Cris.
When we are at the parking area. I introduced Cris to the twins and then we started to travel to Seward Park.
