Of all the types of females parading the world, why did I have to have that one? I am no ordinary creature of no ordinary disposition. Just why her? I never asked for this and never would have. I went through this enough times ... I do not have it in me anymore.

"Mate..." whimpered Orien for the first time in so long while both Vasilios and Tyrone manifested but remained quiet. She is messing up everything I worked- WE worked to put together... Just why again?

" Aziah?" upon hearing my name I am out of my head. I look at my sire, the only one who is capable of seeing through me with a mere glance. "Which one?" he said scanning the room. Damn it, he knew. "The one with glasses taking notes" I indicate and wait. He looks at her for a few seconds and tilts his head. " Do not do it" he says looking back at me with an expression I do not understand. he then smiles at me and says, "She is different".

Prologue
“So it was you!” sniffling she looked at him with so much pain in her eyes hoping he would just say no and she would take his word for it. “I am …sor-“ he attempted but she cut him harshly. Startled he finally looked up and took a step backward. In front of him was no longer the sweet and affectionate girl he had spent three years in an amorous relationship with. No longer the shy and peaceful girl that would cling to his sleeve like a frightened kitten. No longer the docile girl that would put him ahead of herself and above anyone and everyone even when she had to choose between him and her family; she picked him. He knew when he looked at her that he not only broke her but also made sure that the pieces of her heart were shattered beyond recognition or repair.  In front of him stood a girl who if it was not for the puffy eyes and the fresh tears staining her cheeks, you would swear she was devoid of emotions; it was the eyes: so hollow and so cold… utterly senseless. “I see” she broke the silence in a dispassionate voice that made him take another step back. “I ..um. bu…it’s..act-“ he stuttered trying to somehow speak but again she interrupted his measly efforts. “No need. Goodbye.” The finality in those three words was vicious that he could not even feel guilt. She gathered her bag and only picked her official documents, savings book, and laptop and grabbed her coat and left quietly: no slapping door, smashing vases, or cursing – not even looking back. She needed nothing of him or of what was in that apartment they shared, absolutely nothing. She does not need filth. She is certain of that now.
