CHAPTER 5

CHAPTER 5 EDWARD’S POV I love wearing suits. Actually, my signature look is a three piece black suit. Wearing suits give another form of respect that I have come to love. I love attention and respect I get nowadays and I would practically kill for that. I am not kidding by the way.    I grabbed my small briefcase which had the documents of the millionaires I was currently blackmailing and walked out of my house. I didn’t know how long this task with Molly Summers is going to take therefore I had to be prepared so that I could run the other blackmails even when I am dealing with her. Going to Nairobi is officially a business trip.   My personal driver got the door of my SUV for me before he skillfully reversed the car before leaving my premises. Once we arrived at the airport, I walked into my 8 seater Cessna Citation XLS that was prepared to take off immediately thanks to my orders. This plane has been a lifesaver.   I love reading business books when am board. I love learning new things in the business world. As soon as I got comfortable on my seat I dived into reading the business book that caught my attention, thinking fast and Slow. I was engrossed in reading to avoid the airhostess who kept staring at me thinking that I will do her the honors of sleeping with her. I was not in the mood for that crap. I wanted to read and also get my ten billion from Molly. Actually, the only time I looked up was when I sipped my beer.   As soon as we landed, I was driven to Ibis Styles five star Hotel. They helped me check in and in a few, I was at the comfort of the presidential suite that I had booked for myself. After taking a warm shower to freshen up, I had all the time to myself. For once, I decided to scroll through my texts and that is when I decided to read the chats that were on our family group chat. It has been long since I interacted with my family members. The reason being that they have always judged what I do and that is why I distanced myself from them. Actually their constant judgement is what makes me question the famous proverbs that says, blood is thicker than water. I don’t believe in family. Instead, I believe in friendships because my henchmen are very loyal to me. They can do anything for me including taking a bullet for me.   Heck no! After reading the chats I realized that my only brother, Philip Parker, was inviting us to his wedding renewal this Sunday afternoon. Good thing I am in Nairobi right now. I had not seen him or the wife for the longest time and therefore I decided to head over at their place. I want to slap it on their faces that I am still doing fine whether they support me or not.   It was around 12:40pm and therefore I decided to head over to his residence in Lavington. My brother’s reception of me was so cold. I wasn’t surprised though. It turns out that nothing has changed over the years. I couldn’t leave yet. My aunties had not arrived. They were also a part of the crew that I wanted to show that with or without them, I am now a Billionaire. I was going to leave in the evening so that I can embark on what brought me here and that is stalking the stubborn Molly Summers.   “What are you doing here?” My brother pulled me from the rest of the guests when he saw me.   “This is your wedding day Philip. Don’t ruin it,” I said forcing a smile as I adjusted my collar. I was not in the mood for his drama.   “Don’t you think that what you have done is enough?” He asked as he huffed and puffed in anger.   “Come on, that is the past. I am a changed man now,” I lied and this was actually playing with his mind.   “Leave!” He commanded.   “I am not leaving,” I countered as I laughed sarcastically.   “Leave Edward or I will call the police on you, you should be in jail. You don’t deserve to be free after everything that you have done to hurt people,” He threatened and this made me laugh so hard.   “Are you ready to tell them what you did? Are you ready to confess to your wife that you have been cheating?” I asked him and he went silent.   “I thought so,” I told him before grabbing my briefcase and walking into his house. I shouldn’t have come this early. I was starting to get bored therefore I decided to go somewhere silent and start working on the list of the millionaires I am ready to blackmail. I pulled out a few papers from my briefcase and started reading as I was walked in haste. I was so engrossed in reading the papers that I didn’t notice that there was someone in front of me. Before I could manage to dodge, we bumped to each other and my papers flew all over the place.   “f**k!” I hissed in a low tone as I quickly picked up the confidential papers. This stupid b***h should watch where she is going. I was minding my business as I walked away after salvaging my papers when I heard a lady with an angelic voice call me.   “Sir?”   “Yes,” As soon as I turned, my heart stopped beating for a couple of seconds. Is she an angel? I have never seen such a beautiful girl before. She had a long blonde hair and an hour glass figure. Her eyes were bright blue and her perfect lips begged to be kissed. Her smile was enough to make the world stop. I swear, I have been to lots of countries and cities in the past but I have never seen someone so beautiful. She is so sexy and perfect like an angel. Damn!   I was about to talk to her and ask her to come with me when she was pulled right away from me.   Who is this mystery girl who has sent sweet shivers down my spine?
