After Sean left, it was now April, and Logan left in the living room.
April felt uncomfortable; Logan's hazel eyes bothered her.
"Don't look at me like that?"
"Why are you afraid to be charmed by me?"
Their eyes met; Logan was handsome; it's only natural that women happily throw themselves into Logan's beds for free. For a moment, April was lost in Logan's charm. She then shook her head, 'No, no, Sean is the best; Sean is the man she has loved from the past until now.
"April," Logan's voice was hoarse.
"W-what, what's calling me." April is awkward. She tugged at the sides of her dress, Logan's sharp gaze as if it was so difficult to escape.
"You are beautiful, gorgeous," Logan said without blinking. He got closer to April.
April's heart started beating fast; she wanted to escape Logan, but her body felt stiff; this playboy was dangerous.
"April, you...."
"April, honey." Sean's Mother, Marry, came from upstairs.
"A-Aunt Marry." April stuttered like a thief caught off guard.
"Logan, you're here, son?" Marry approached Logan and hugged him. Marry and her husband had treated Logan like their real son. Since childhood Logan has been close to Sean and his family. Logan's parents had died when Sean was seven years old in an accident.
"Yes, Aunty, for Sean's sake, I will make time to go home no matter how busy I am."
"Thank you, son. You've been a kind and caring brother to Sean. How long, off this time?"
"Just two days; I want to collect a lot of leave by Christmas."
"Sure, Christmas is better at home than out in the country. Come on, go upstairs; Sean must be done. Come on, honey, Auntie got something for you." Marry pulled April's hand.
"Y-yes, auntie." At last, April could feel relieved, free from Logan's dangerous distraction.
"s**t," Logan exhaled, annoyed at his failed attempt to get close to April.

"Yes, babe, you have to come tonight; today is my birthday; prove that you also love me, of course, why not. I'm serious; you can buy anything to make you look beautiful tonight."
Logan had entered Sean's room, leaning against the wall of the room, listening to Sean who was talking to his girlfriend; Logan only guessed because Sean's tone was different from his typical day, with a soft and warm intonation accompanied by the word 'babe' Logan confirmed, Sean had had a lover, poor April.
"Okay, see you tonight; I love you so much." Sean, who realized Logan's presence, immediately hung up the phone.
"April knows you invited her?" Logan probed.
"Nope, tonight, she'll find out on her own.
"I see," Logan scratched his hair.
"You haven't told her you love her yet?"
"Not yet; how will I tell her when she hates me so much? You know that, don't you? If she only saw Sean Johanson in her eyes and no one else."
"Stop being a playboy; maybe she'll give you a chance."
"I'm not sure she'll change that fast; she's the loyal type of girl; it's hard to look away." Logan leaned back in bed.
After tonight, there's a chance for you. Sean sat leaning next to Logan.
"Uh, I'm scared to see her cry after knowing you have a girlfriend." Logan exhaled roughly.
"Sooner or later, she has to know. I think of her as a sister, nothing more. I also have a personal life that I have to enjoy."
"But… you're right, won't regret it if April chooses to be with me?"
"Wow, men, I will be very happy for you guys; I already consider you my brother and April like my sister. Of course, I'm happy to have two younger siblings at once."
"I keep your promise, don't break it."
"Keep my promise; my taste is sexy blonde women and hot in bed, opposite from April."
"You're wrong, Sean. I'm sure April will be hot when she gets used to it. And I'll be the tutor, hahaha." They high-fived and laughed.

In the evening, at Johanson's residence.
"Aunt Marry, what is this?" April was surprised; Mary gave her a beautiful diamond necklace.
"Dear April, I've wanted to give this to you for a long time. Auntie already considers you as a daughter."
"This…." April is feeling bad.
"Here, I use it, you want?" Mary pulled April to face the mirror and put the diamond necklace around April's neck. "See, it suits you very well; both are beautiful; I used to get this from my mother-in-law."
April turned and looked at Mary with red cheeks. "Auntie mean?" April couldn't wait for Mary's response.
"Listen, April, I like you; I hope you will be patient with Sean's cold attitude; he is a warm man. He can't express it well; only certain people he considers special can see his warm side." Marry took April's hand. "Would you mind waiting for Sean?"
April nodded a few times with a smile. "Sure, I'll wait for Sean to accept me, Auntie." They hug.

The party has started. From upstairs, Logan saw April laughing near Marry; Logan smiled wryly, imagining that April's smile would soon disappear and be replaced by tears. Honestly, he was happy to hear Sean had invited his girlfriend to introduce her to his family and colleagues, but he was also afraid and couldn't bear seeing April's sad face, which he hated so much.
"Hey, what are you dreaming about?" Sean tapped Logan's shoulder.
"Nothing," Logan lied.
"Believe me, she will also get used to it and accept the reality of my relationship with her." Sean had guessed Logan's heart.
"Hopefully."
"Okay, I'll go get Camila. She's here now." Sean tapped Logan's shoulder.
"Okay, good luck, dude."
*****
Logan went down with Sean down the stairs; all the girl's and women's eyes were on the two. Both are handsome; the only difference is the attitude of the two, Sean with his cold attitude, while Logan with a warm perspective that can melt the hearts of every woman close to him.
April looked at Sean with adoring eyes. Tonight, Sean wore an expensive gray suit, and his dark blonde hair was slicked back, adding an elegant impression to her eyes. April's heart always beats fast when Sean stares at her.
"Mom, I'm out for a while," Sean said goodbye to his Mother.
"Sean, where are you going? The party's about to start." Marry was curious.
Sean waved his hand and then showed his three fingers at the three-minute mark.
April is curious, who will Sean meet at this time?
Logan had already braced for April's reaction, which was hysterical.
Almost ten minutes had passed, but Sean had not returned; while the party was ready, even Ronan, Sean's father, was already at Marry's side.
Feeling uneasy about the waiting guests, Marry told April to call Sean.
Seeing April, who nodded to Marry and walked out, Logan immediately understood where April was headed.
"Oh s**t," Logan ran after April, who had left the party.
"April, April, wait…." Sean managed to pull April's hand.
"What the hell, Log? Let go of my hand; I want to call Sean; the party's about to start." April threw Logan's hand away.
"Apr...." Logan stopped chasing April after April turned around with tears in her eyes.
"Why, why didn't you tell me." April's body trembled, and she covered her mouth with both hands. She shook her head several times.
"April, wait, don't go, April ..."
