Hey, Ivy? Ivy? Lisa was calling her by shaking her hand.

Yes, did I miss something? Ivy asked Lisa.

We went to the theatre which is just 4 miles away from the restaurant. An action movie is playing there, he is Jack's favorite hero - Tom Mill. One of the best actors in the industry and rose to fame in the industry at a super fast pace with all his hard work and dedication. I too enjoyed his movies 1 or 2 when Jack watches.

Jack was overjoyed seeing the movie poster outside the theatre, and jumping up while doing a chorus with other teenagers who were celebrating the movie's success.

I miss being a teenager, Ivy. Do you remember, how we used to watch all the animated movies with our parents?

Ivy's face was drained with sorrow and the loss of her parents, who couldn't even meet their grandson at least once nor they didn't know their daugther misery. I don't know whether it is a blessing or a curse. But, I'm happy at least they didn't see how I have suffered these years. I would have felt broken seeing their sorrow.

Ivy, Ivy! You dozed off again. What happened to you recently? Are you thinking of him?

Hearing that question, Ivy's eyes involuntarily tried to look over Jack, fearing that he might hear it.

As it is a penthouse, It is very big compared to the normal home in this community. A large waiting hall, balcony with attached Jacuzzi, bar area and then dining area, separate office room, 1 guest room, and 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, terrace garden, private gym, and play area. This is massive.

Lisa shifted here, just a year before, so I've never seen this penthouse in real. I'm feeling happy for my best friend to live without worry.

As we three are working in the kitchen, while I'm cutting the vegetables for the ramen soup, Jack is preparing the dessert by whipping the cream, Lisa is handling the remaining work in the kitchen, and the doorbell rings.

Looks like Matt came, I'll go and open the door, Lisa went to the door enthusiastically.

I could see they both were cuddling each other and kissing, so I diverted my attention and focused on my work, while Jack was also engulfed in his task.

We all sat at the dining table and enjoyed our dinner. While having dessert, Matt discussed a few key pointers about the office, as he is not going to attend the office tomorrow as he has other important things.

Ivy, here is a list of schools, I have got for Jack for his pre-school. Check them and let me know which one you would like to send Jack.

Jack played with Matt for some more time, while I went back to my flat to make some things set for tomorrow's work.

After cleaning up some kitchen stuff, setting the wardrobe, and selecting my clothes for tomorrow's work. After an hour, Lisa dropped Jack at the door, and said, ' I'll take care of Jack tomorrow, you don't worry. And I'll do the remaining work if you have still pending at home. You stay relaxed, I feel you are being stressed about something.'

I hugged Lisa, and said, " I'm very fortunate to meet a friend like you. I hope our friendship remains the same forever without any evil eye."

Of course, it will be. I'll leave now, Matt is waiting for me. Lisa left immediately. Jack and I both hit the sack for sleep. Though there is a kid's bedroom, Jack insisted he would sleep with me today, and I understood his concerns in this new environment.

The next morning, I woke up by 6 o'clock, and prepared some breakfast with an omelet, toast, juice for Jack and me, and a few snacks for him to munch on while I was away. At 7, I woke him up, after refreshing, and having our breakfast, I went to the penthouse, to drop him at Lisa's home.

After exchanging a few words with them, I left for work, as I had to be in the office by 9, and from here it took 30 minutes. 'Good day Mom', Jack yelled from behind.

Good Day, Ivy! Lisa too yelled.

I stopped in front of a huge office, with big words written as 'M&J'. It has such an amazing infrastructure and seems like a theme park. Looks like Lisa's husband has spent well enough to develop on this.

Oh, I'm running late. Unable to admire the beauty of this building, I ran off to the elevator as there was a clear instruction for the new joiners on the 8th floor. But, there was a guy, who behaved strangely, reading a file in reverse, without showing his face.

He wore black trousers, a black coat, a blue shirt, and an expensive watch, he seemed somewhat familiar to me.

Who is this mysterious guy?
