I have been looking forward to meeting you for so long, Ivy. I would have been your assistant, and you would be my superior if you hadn't taken a break. You know, Mr. Matt hit a jackpot, to grab both intellectuals in one par who handles finances well.

I couldn't agree with anything more than this, Ivy smiled and complimented his words.

By the way, why did you have your face in the elevator?

Of course, to give you a surprise in the cabin directly. Otherwise I would I think hide my face from you. I want to see your surprised look when you see me directly as your superior and I am happy with your surprise look.

Ivy could still remember, how he used to tease her during college days.

' Right now, we are working on four projects - one US company, one with a Canadian company, another with Italy, and another one with an Arab. All we have to do is to negotiate with the project budget. As all 4 are from different industries we need to estimate the way we can provide the profit to the clients and we need to save our companies cost as well. We both have to devise a plan where we can use our brain strength and also hard work. More money for a company and More bonus for us.

Aleah, is Ivy Parker, our new Vice-CFO. And Ivy, she is Aleah, has 10 years of experience as an assistant and from here she will be your assistant in helping you know things here in the future.

Ivy and Aleah both introduced themselves by shaking their hands. Aleah took Ivy to her cabin, after parting her ways with Robin.

Ivy's office is a large room with a desk and an open sitting area, a bathroom along a closet. Lisa already arranged her clothes and necessities here as well. The interior is light hue green and mint yellow, it quite refreshing colors.

After Aleah left, Ivy was engrossed in her work, before making sure to call Lisa once to know how Jack was doing. After studying all the project files, Ivy already devised a few plans to discuss with Robin.

Robin arranged a meeting with all the members of the finance department. He introduced Ivy to everyone, and they welcomed her with warm wishes and bouquets. Ivy was thrilled to see all the team who are similar and above age, matured, and energetic.

Robin asked Ivy about her opinion regarding the projects to give an insight. He wants to make Ivy welcome here for her talent before anyone points to her capabilities. He was so confident that Ivy would impress his team of 30 members which he formed on his own.

Ivy stood and explained her point of view on what's lacking and what can be done on all four projects. Everyone was impressed by her insight views within a few hours.

They applauded her with praises.

They might seem genuine or some were commenting as icing on the top, but I was very happy. Because I never felt welcomed at my first job or my second job. It was at this office that I truly felt happy as of now. Perhaps, if my first job was as happy as this from day one, I might have been less distressful. May I wouldn't have ended up with him, right?
