Stop her car aside on the road, Ivy turned towards Jack and said, 'If you don't tell me what happened at school, how will I know your worries? I can help you or talk with you if you are worrying about anything. Can you share it with me, please?

Mom, today a friend of mine has cried suddenly in the class. She is crying so hard and says that her father hasn't even come to her since their parents started fighting.

I felt that you and Dad also fought and he will not come to me ever, Jack expressed his worries with tears in his eyes, which were about to fall.

Ivy felt so hard and it hurt in her heart when she heard this question. She felt silent, angry at that person who made her life like this and Jack got scared seeing his Mom like this.

Seeing Jack, Ivy composed herself and explained patiently, 'Jack even kids also fight. You had a fight with Jacob yesterday, remember? Jack nodded silently.

In the same way, elders also fight. But since we are adults, it is a little more complicated, compared to your fights. Everyone will have a fight with one another, and even with strangers for different reasons.

And as for me and your father of course we both have fought a lot. But, he loves you so much and he will come back as soon as possible. And I'm promising you, that I will take you to your father soon.

Are you telling true Mom? Jack asked.

Yes, Ivy was happy seeing Jack's happiness and also scared of that person.

Thank you so much, Mom! You are the best. Jack forgot what happened and happily started chatting about his activities at school.

Ivy has an uncertain feeling in her heart as she doesn't know whether she pacified him for now or if will it create more trouble in the future. She is not sure whether that guy is ready to accept Jack, or if is he still living a playboy life and she doesn't even know whether he is married or single.

But I had to go through this with my son for my life I don't want to see Jack happy most. No matter, what, I have to cope with all this

After 30 minutes of driving, they both reached their apartment. After they both got fresh up, Ivy made Jack study for today's homework, later they had their dinner, and played for some time, went to rest for the day by 9.30 PM.

Meanwhile, Lisa and Matt didn't leave their bedroom since the morning after Lisa went back home. Matt insisted on trying to have a baby with her, and it was not an obsession, even Lisa liked such a rampage.

They both talked, explored new quirky things slept without knowing about the time, and did every activity at their own pace.

The next day, Ivy and Jack after having their breakfast, Ivy dropped Jack at the school by 8:45, as it is not much distance between her office and school which is just around 15 minutes she reached the office on time.

Aleah came to her cabin, with a cup of coffee and informed the report from Robin to study them.

Yeah, thank you, Aleah. By the way, when will the conference meeting start today?

It will be at 3.30 PM.

Oh, yes. The timings are hectic for the evening, as I have some important things to do this evening.

Ivy decided yesterday, to spend more time with Jack, at least twice a week apart from weekends, as being only in school with less parents attachment is also not a good idea. Though Jack could spend more time in school, by learning new things, he will be lonely. Ivy doesn't want that to happen.

Oh, no problem, Ms. Ivy. Many of our employees are working flexibly because women working here are married mostly and have children. So, they will finish their work quickly or will finish it at home, so they can spend time with their kids. It is not a problem until it doesn't hinder the company's work.

President Matt has made this rule, so he could make the employees work more relaxed than driven between the responsibilities.

That's a good thing. I will discuss this with Robin then.

Ivy, went to Robin's cabin, to discuss leaving early today.

'Robin, I need a favor to ask you?'

I want to leave early half an hour today if it is possible.

Is there anything wrong? It's not like I want to know the reason, but at least for office records you have to say it, right?

No, that's not a problem. I have an important work this evening.

We have a pending coffee chat, remember? How about we go grab a coffee and you can go from there? Robin asked hopingly to Ivy. He was scared that Ivy was meeting someone else. As she is not the type to leave early without any proper reason and she is not saying the reason to him. He thought she might be in a problem or meeting someone. He is being delusional maybe but he is scared to miss her again for the second time.

Of course, not a problem. Why would I lose such an opportunity to leave early, Ivy joked about it.

Alright. There is a cafe near to the office, we can go there. As it is still near to school, Ivy happily agreed.

3.30 PM

This is a regular meeting that happens every month, with the company's main President, who is also a partner with Matt.

Ivy heard about him, as mysterious and no one has seen him till today except Matt. After the meeting started, everyone reported their results, and inputs and was summoned by the President to key points. In this meeting only, Matt, Robin, Ivy, and Aleah are present.

Mr.President suddenly asked, 'Ms. Ivy, how is your working experience as far here?'

Icy was startled as she didn't expect a conversation with the Mysterious President and as everybody was looking at her response, she tactically answered, so far, I like this company with the terms and conditions, development and looking forward to being a part of this organization and contribute my work for to reach higher.

Ivy felt an unusual sensation when speaking with the President, she even felt listening to his voice, that she knew him but couldn't grasp it. Ivy could feel Matt's gaze on her so she looked at him but Matt tactly avoided her gaze. She didn't know why, it was but she had a gut feeling that Matt was hiding something.
