The next couple of weeks flew by. Everyone was settling into their new roles and packs. Matt and Katie went back to Opal Moon, taking the remainder of their pack with them. Katie and I still found time to see each other every weekend. Matt was loving life out in Opal Moon. I was so incredibly happy for him. The rest of the pack welcomed him with open arms. He would officially become their Alpha next week.

Conner and Mandy finally moved into the their rightful wing in the pack house. Gavin had just named Conner his Gamma. Conner and Mandy were working on those pups every chance they got. It was morning, noon and night with those two. I know that Conner is planning on proposing to Mandy really soon. I knew that a huge pack wedding was already in the works.

Kevin was really helpful when it came to my Luna duties, we were getting closer and closer with each passing day. I was trying really hard to help Kevin with his loss of love a few years ago. I was secretly praying that the Goddess would surprise him with a mate soon. If anyone deserves love, it’s Kevin.

Alex called me the other day, he and Chelsea are expecting twins. With wolf pregnancies, pups were full term in 6 short months. I couldn’t wait to be an aunt! Mom and Dad had finally stepped down and left the pack in their capable hands.

With all the weddings, ceremonies and baby showers coming up, I knew that it was going to be a very busy year. I just had to buckle myself in and go for the ride.

Gavin and I were doing really well, we were finally able to connect and form a lifestyle that worked for us. Gavin and I were even debating on starting a family, we didn’t want to put a timeline on it. It just seemed peculiar that nothing was happening. We began being contracted out for security details and added protection for packs under seize. They called us the “Exterminators.”

Life was good again. We still had occasional Rogue sightings, but they were easy to handle. It didn’t take much to eliminate the threat.

Me and the boys would head out to different packs along the West coast and spend a week training and building strength with their warriors. Most were surprised to find that I was a Luna and a warrior. Or as Gavin liked to introduce me, "My bad ass motherfucking Luna." 

Gavin was sitting in his office, we had just gotten back from a pack in Northern Oregon. He was working on something stressful, I could tell with the way his forehead was scrunched. It’s not fair to ask so much of them.” I gave him a reassuring nod, “I know, but we do give them a choice each time we sign a contract. It would be different if they had pups to think about. If it’s bothering you that much I can talk to them.” Gavin shook his head, “No that’s alright bug, I think I’m just over analyzing things.” I looked down at him, he didn’t look like my normal fun loving Gavin, I needed to cheer him up.

**GAVIN’S POV**

**STELLA’S POV**

I had spent most of the morning out in the sun with the camp kids. I could feel like I was getting dehydrated from all the sun exposure. I decided to take a bath and sip on some coconut water to help wake up my body a bit.

When I eventually got out of the tub, I wrapped myself in my robe and headed towards the bedroom. Gavin had disappeared but there was a note and flowers on the bed. I was giddy like a school girl, I skipped over and unfolded the note.

I hadn’t even noticed that Gavin had come into the apartment.

I jumped in surprise when he wrapped his arms around my waist. Gavin carefully led me into the elevator, he figured it would be easier than the four flights of stairs. I heard the tell all ding of the doors closing. Gavin backed me up against the wall, he started trailing kisses from my ear lobe down to my sternum. My deep neckline gave him easy access to the goods. The longer I was blindfolded, the more I got comfortable with navigating without my sight. Gavin stopped suddenly and I heard a chair skid across the floor. He shifted his position so he was now standing behind me. “Go ahead and sit baby, I’ve got you.” I slowly lowered myself onto the chair and Gavin pushed me into the table. I felt his hands on the back of my head, in one swift motion, he removed my blindfold. I blinked my eyes a few times to regain focus. In front of me was a gorgeously displayed table. There were candles in the center with scattered rose petals strewn across the white tablecloth. I looked down and there was a giant cut of  steak with red potatoes and broccoli, I was instantly starving. Gavin walked around to the other side of the table, “do you like it?” he asked as he sat down in his chair. I smiled brightly at him, it was so romantic. No one had done anything like this for me before. “I love it, it’s perfect. Thank you so much.” He beamed at my gratification. He grabbed a near by bottle of red wine and started pouring it into two glasses. “I know that things have been crazy lately, I wanted to make sure that I did something special for you. You are my Goddess, all I want to do is make you happy. I’m so glad that we have a week of downtime. I asked Kevin and Conner to take over for a few days so I could focus all of my attention on you.” Oh my goodness, can he be any cuter? He reached across the table and grabbed my hand. “I still can’t believe how lucky I am that the Moon Goddess blessed me with you. You are everything that I never knew I needed. You are absolutely perfect baby, and I want to worship the ground you walk on for the rest of my life. I want to spend every remaining day I have left on this Earth with you.
