After leaving Shelby's hotel, Bryson couldn't help but think about what had gone on. "She trusts me. Trusts me enough to kiss her, to touch her, and to pleasure her. She isn't quite there yet but she is close. Soon I will not only have you in my bed, but I will have you in my arms to treasure for the rest of my life, my beautiful Shelby. Now I have to figure out what to do about tiger. He is in love with her and she obviously feels for him as well. I know she would never cut him from her life. A Lycan wolf and a Lycan tiger sharing a human?" He thought to himself and laughed. Bryson decided to stop in his favorite bar and have a drink before heading home. He ordered a Jack and Coke and sat down at the bar. A few sips into his second drink, he felt his body tense as a familiar scent hit him. "Who is the bimbo with half-blue hair, Bry?" "None of your damn business. The only bimbo I see is you, Seraphina." "Hmm. Your newest bag and tag I'm guessing?" "Why are you in my breathing space, Seraphina? I'm positive I told you to leave me alone." "You did but we both know you can't stay away from me, Bry." "I'm pretty sure you are the one coming to me and not the other way around, Seraphina." "You came here knowing I come here." "I came to this bar because I have been coming here since before I climbed in bed with the devil. The devil being you. I did not come here for you. This was my place before you came into the picture so I suggest you find another bar because I am done talking to you. Have a nice life coning someone else out of their time and money while you screw anything and everything that walks or shows intrest in you." Bryson downed what was left of his drink and threw a fifty on the bar to cover his drinks and tip. He stood up and walked right past Seraphina. As he was walking out the door he could hear her yelling at him but he ignored her and just walked out. One too many encounters with her than he should have with her and he was beginning to wonder why all of a sudden she was coming around. It had been three years since he dumped her after he caught her cheating on him with four other guys and he hadn't heard a peep from her until now. Bryson tried to shake it off and think about something more positive. Shelby. He couldn't help replaying what happened in the hotel room over and over in his head. As Bryson pulled up to his house, his phone started ringing. "What's up, tiger?" "Hey, wolf. I just wanted you to know I heard from our girl." "Is she ok?" "She seems ok but she isn't going to come home yet. She said she still needs time." "Well, at least she reached out to you, tiger. Maybe now you can calm down a little and breathe." "I won't be able to breathe until she walks through that door, wolf." "I think she will soon." "What is it with you, Bryson? When she first left, you were just as concerned as I was and now it's like you already know everything is going to be fine." "I don't but I am trying to keep a positive mind, tiger. I think you should do the same. Shelby is obviously confused and needs time to think. She is reaching out to you so that should show that things are heading in a positive way right now. Let her think and get her head straightened out and I bet she will be back before you know it." "It's easy for you to just breathe and stay calm. You haven't been by her side for as long as I have. I'll try to worry less but I can't just stop worrying about her." "You are right I haven't been by her side as long as you have tiger, but I am by it now and I don't plan on leaving her side. You aren't the only one who feels for her." "So what? Are you saying, you are in love with her as well, wolf?" "Yeah, I am. I fell for her the moment I laid eyes on her at the park. You think if I wasn't I would still be trying to get her? I've never had to put so much into getting a woman but Shelby, she is nothing like those women and I will do everything in my power to show her what a rare treasure she is and treat her like one." "I won't fight you over her, wolf. If she decides to give you a chance, I will back off. I won't leave her but I will back off." "Same thing goes for me, tiger." "I'll let you know if she calls again. I have to go now. I need a shower and food. later, Bryson." "Later tiger." Bryson hung up and went inside. He ordered himself Chinese food and had it delivered. While Bryson ate, he worked on some papers for a job he was about to start on. After dinner, he decided to go for a run. He hadn't run in wolf form since the night Shelby saw him outside her house. Bryson stripped out of his clothes and took off out the back door. He ran through the woods behind his house and stopped in the middle of them. He shifted into wolf form and just took off running. When he finally stopped he found himself on the edge of the cliff that over looks the city. He sat there for a while just staring out into the city. As he was getting ready to head back, He caught a familiar scent but he couldn't place it. He sniffed the air and followed it. He crept through the trees doing his best not to make a sound. When he stopped he looked to his left and caught a glimpse of yellowish-orange and black running past him. He followed the path the yellowish-orange and black figure took off on. He came to a stop at a stream and saw a weretiger on the other side taking a drink. He shifted back to human form and yelled out. "Drew?" The tiger raised its head and looked directly at Bryson. Within a blink of an eye, Drew was standing in human form with his head c*o*c*k*e*d to the side. "Bryson? What are you doing out here?" "I came for a run. I haven't ran in form in a few weeks so I needed to get back into doing it." "Same here, man. I missed looking down while drinking and seeing my tiger stripes." "I haven't seen a weretiger up close before. I didn't realize the colors are so vibrant." "Ha. Yeah most of us aren't as bright in color though. Only those who are from a bloodline of pure weretiger on either side dating back to the first, are bright colored." "Kind of like Lycan wolves. Pure-blooded Lycan wolves have more speed, strength, etc. than someone who isn't pure blood." "Are you pure or not, wolf?" "What do you think, kitten?" "Another pure blood. Mother or Father or both sides?" "My father. He turned my mother before she found out she was pregnant with me. Had he just left my mother alone, she would probably still be here. Him turning her is what got her killed." "Bryson, I'm sorry man." "It's ok tiger. I didn't get a chance to bond with her anyway. She was killed minutes after I was born. I was spared because I was born in human form and they assumed I was fully human. I was raised by a family that knew her when she was human and even after she turned." Bryson stepped out from behind the bush he was hiding behind and Drew's eyes drifted south. He smirked and Bryson caught it. "Eyes up here, tiger." "Aw your no fun, wolf." "I'm loads of fun with the right person." Drew sat down on the ground and Bryson caught a glimpse of his package. They were both pretty well endowed. He could see one reason why Shelby was having a hard time. Bryson started feeling a little weird about being out here with Drew and both of them being stark n*a*k*e*d. He told Drew he was going to head back home. They both shifted back in Lycan form and went seperate ways. Bryson was half way home when he caught another familiar scent. This one made him sick. It belonged to the devil. It wasn't a strong scent but it was enough for him to know who it belonged to. She had been out here, close by. Bryson took off to his backyard to make sure she wasn't lurking near his house. He check around the yard and didn't see anyone. He grabbed his spare key from its hiding place and he unlocked his backdoor. After he locked up, he jumped in the shower and decided to call it a night. He climbed into bed after his shower and grabbed his phone to set his alarm. He stared at the phone for a moment and opened his text. [Good night pretty lady. I hope you sleep well tonight. Sweet dreams about me.] Shelby: [They are always sweet, Big Bad Wolf. Good night. :* ] Bryson smiled as he locked his phone and laid it on the nightstand to charge. He turned on his side and stared at the empty spot beside him and pictured Shelby laying there with nothing on but a sheet after hours of him worshiping her body. He closed his eyes and sweet darkness took over.
