Chapter 4. Elena's POV

I was surprised when I woke up. because I wasn't in my room. This room looks familiar that's when it occurred to me that I was in the Alpha's room.

'oh my goodness. what was I doing in the Alpha's bed' I thought panicked. I hurriedly stood up and headed for the door in a hurry so that no one else will know that I slept in the Alpha's room, but luck wasn't on my side as I opened the door and saw a guard at the door.

I stepped forward to pass them and go to my room when the guards at the door stopped me in my tracks.

"please you are not allowed to leave the room" the guard said.

" Please I didn't know how and when I got here please I need to go and do my morning chores please?"I pleaded.

"it's an order from the Alpha" He said leaving no room for objection while ushering me back into my room.

I went back into the room as they shut the door behind me.

I started pacing up and down the room, until a knock came to the door.

I opened it and saw Rebecca standing at the door.

" Hi Becca" I greeted as I assured her into the room.

she came into the room with a tray in her hand.

" thank goodness that you are here, please help me beg the Alpha. I didn't know how I got and slept in his room please. He doesn't want me to leave the room. help me out" I begged when she dropped the tray she was carrying.

she didn't say anything and was just smiling at me.

"why are you smiling?, please help me out" I pleaded.

" Didn't you remember anything that happened yesterday? "she asked.

"well... the only thing I remembered was going to the meeting room to serve for the night ordered by the former Alpha and was asked to serve them some hot coffee. I went to make coffee for them in the kitchen and on my way back I smelled a very strong and enticing smell which was really weird and out of the ordinary. I walked towards the scent and it led me to the meeting room. I was surprised because I didn't perceive the smell when I went to make coffee. I opened the door to deliver the coffee and met the Alpha looking directly at me. I found out that the scent was coming from him that it's enchanted me that I couldn't move an inch. he stood up walking towards me when his father stopped him and said that..." I kept quiet when everything made sense to me.

"He said what" Rebecca asked excited to know the details while urging me to say something.

"he said that I can't be the Alpha's mate and I felt very sad that I dropped the coffee on the table and left and walked towards the woods. I walked until I found myself at the pond. I sat down while looking at the sky.

after sometime the Alpha came there. That was what happened and that was all I could remember" I told her praying to goddess not to allow her to notice it.

" Did you understand what is happening now and when he doesn't want you to leave the room?" she asked with a smirk in her lips.

" I don't know" I answered pretending not to know while sitting down feelling dejected about what the formal Alpha said the previous night.

"he said that because he's your mate you fool" she said while smiling.

I looked up at her dumbfolded.

I couldn't say anything as my mind was totally empty with her confession, even when I pretended not to know. I still couldn't believe it when she said it.

"Please Rebecca, don't say such a dirty joke again. if the Alpha or anyone hears about that, we will be in lots of p" I said, trying not to believe a single word she said.

Not trying to but I don't dare try to.

"I'm serious Elena. Alright drink your coffee "she said picking up the tray, she kept on the dressing table.

I picked up the coffee when I noticed a paper on my tray. I picked it up and noticed that there is a writing on it and I read it.

" see how cute the sun is looking today,

all to make your day more wonderful

and happy.

so get up, smile at the sun and start your

day with a cup of coffee.

Good morning, my sunshine

and have a wonderful day ahead.

I finished reading the letter as my lips twitched up into an involuntarily smile, without even knowing it.

" Now what's the smile all about? " Rebecca asked.

" Nothing" I answered hiding the paper behind me.

Now tell me, what is written on that paper" she asked

It's none of your business" I answered not wanting to tell her.

I said as I started devouring my meal . after eating Rebecca came in and took the tray to the kitchen. In less than 3 minutes a knock came to the door.

"Is the Alpha here already what will I do, am not used to having a mate, this is so awkward' I thought the knock knock came again

' But why is he knocking before entering his room' I thought as I opened the door.

"Good morning ma " a lady greeted standing at the door

" Good morning ma " I greeted as well.

" Am asked to come and attend to you" she said

" By who " I asked ushering her in.

" You will know later" she said as she clapped her hand and the two boys carrying boxes came into the room. I was puzzled.

" please ma go take bath" She said opening the boxes.

" Alright " I answered and headed for the door

" miss you is not allowed to leave the room"

the guard at the door reminded me again.

" But the lady in the room said that I should go take a bath, so am going to my room to take one" I answered wanting to leave the room.

" We will go asked the permission from the Alpha" He said as he signaled his partner to go and do the task. After a few minutes. He came back.

" He said you should go take your bath"

" Ooh thank you" I thanked heading to my room, not allowing him to finish his sentence.

" No not in your room, In his room" He said stopping me.

" What??, I need to change" I complained.

" That's an order " He answered as he opened the door for me to get in .

I entered the room and went straight to his bathroom.
