Final Chapter

"It's been a hundred days that we're together but it seems that we have each other for a long time."

Mahigpit na yakap ang sagot ni Amber kay Gaelan, na walang tigil kakahaplos sa kanyang mahabang buhok na kulay asul.

"Remember the first time we met? The accident that made us knew each other. It's been a surprise because I never imagined that you would come into my life. Remember the message that made us felt this love we have right now? That simple message changed my life. I didn't knew that everything's going to be fast, that after awhile, I felt something strange inside of me that makes me longing for you. Every day, I'm searching for you, for your voice. It became a d**g to me, I feel so lonely whenever I didn't hear you. I feel so incomplete and lonely whenever you're not around. I can't last a day without having a conversation with you. Every night, I'm thinking of you before I sleep. Even in my dreams, you are there, with me. We were happy. Remember the first time we met? The first stare? The first smile? That was unforgettable. It made me shudder for a couple of days. That moment, it proved that dreams do really do come true if you'll just believe. Everything was perfect on that day. Tight hugs, sweet holding hands, long talks, staring contests, taking cute and vain pictures, sharing food and nonstop kisses. That day became my favorite among others. Because the girl lived on my dreams, was finally reality with you. Even now, I can still feel your presence. I can still feel your small palms that made my hands warm. I can still feel how you embrace me while we're walking on a populous place. Whenever I close my eyes, I can still see you next to me. Time flies so fast; I didn't imagine that it's been a hundred days with you. Those days were full of happiness and love that we shared together. I am so glad that I met you, that God has answered my prayers already. I couldn't ask for more. We've been through a rocky road of problems but we never left each other. When it rains or even storm comes, I hold you even tighter to remind you that I will never leave you. We will experience foggy nights but don't worry, great mornings will do come. I will still be next to you, no matter what happens. I promise. I will love you, for the next one hundred days and years of my life."

Gaelan smiled then kissing Amber softly on the forehead.. The happiness shown on Gaelan's face was so great as he looked at Amber.

"Isa sa pinaka masayang araw na nangyari sa buhay ko. Eh yung araw na nakilala kita, Yung araw na di ko naman aakalain na hahantong lahat sa ganito, yung araw na tila nagbago ang lahat, mga dating simpleng lumilipas na panahon biglang sadyang pinalitan ng makabuluhang pagkakataon. Lalo na yung araw na mapagtanto ko na ang hirap pala kapag di kita nakakausap, nakakamiss, nakakalungkot, at muling naghahanggad pa ng panibagong pagkakataon, marami pang pagkakataon, mas matagal pa na pagkakataon, na makausap ka pa, na makasama ka pa, na mangyari ang lahat na nasa isip ko, na maging mas romantiko pa at lumalim ang lahat."

Masuyong hinaplos ni Amber ang pisngi ni Gaelan na titig na titig sa kanya.

"Pero dumaan ang mga araw heto na, ang tila'y pangarap unti unting nagaganap. Panaginip na sadyang katotohanan ang nilalaman. Ang mapagtanto ko, galing sa isip at diwa kong di mapakali, na sadyang ikaw lang pala ang kulang sa lahat ng mga pangyayari sa buhay ko. Na ikaw pala ang dahilan ng lahat kung bakit ako masaya, kung bakit ang tamis ng mga ngiti sa likod ng mga labi ko, mga kinang sa mga mata kong di mapaliwanag, sa mga pisngi kong namumula sa tuwing naririnig ang boses mo. Mga bagay na sadyang di mapaliwanag na binigyang klaro simula nung nagdikta ang puso ko na.. Pag-ibig na pala ito, pag-ibig na minsan kong pinangarap pero dumating sa panahong di ko naman inaakala. Gayun din sa taong di ko naman hinahangad pero mas mainam pa ang biniyaya para maging parte ng buhay ko."

Kinabig ni Gaelan palapit pa sa kanya si Amber, saka buong pagsuyong hinalikan.

"Mahal na mahal kita, Amber, lagi mo yang tatandaan at wag na wag mong kakalimutan!"

Nakangiting tumango si Amber.. "Gusto kong malaman mo na.. Sobrang saya ko. Simula nung araw na nakilala kita, simula nung araw na tumibok ang puso ko ng napakabilis, nagsalita ng isang pangalan sa di nakaka paniwalang sitwasyon. Mahal din kita Gaelan, higit pa sa sobra at sobra at sobra na nasa isip mo. Napakasaya ko noong nakilala kita, at gusto ko din malaman mo na, mula noon hanggan ngayon di nagbago yung pagtingin ko sayo at mas lumalim pa, pangako ko.. "Ayos na sana eh! Bakit naman baby devil pa?"

"Kasi, ganun ako.. Tawag mo pa nga sakin noon, dyablo diba?"

"Paano mo nalaman?" Nanlalaki ang matang tanong ni Gaelan sa diwatang may pilyang pagkakangiti sa labi.

"Hello.... Hindi lang kaya ako isang engkanto Gaelan, baka nakakalimutan mong immortal din ako."

"Amber! Mahal mo ako diba?"

"Oo, naman, bakit?"

"Haayy... Buti na lang, at least safe nako ngayon hehe." Napahinga ng malalim si Gaelan na tila ba nabunutan ito ng tinik at narelax.

Natatawang kinurot ni Amber ang pisngi ng binata. " Ikaw, kung bibigyan ka ng pagkakataon na maging kagaya ko, anong pipiliin mo sa tatlo... ang maging engkanto, mangkukulam o bampira?"

"Hmm.." Napaisip ng malalim si Gaelan. "If I had a choice, an angel's what I'd be and everything that happend.. I'd be there to see. You'd be right there with me, To wrap my wings around.. Only You would know I'm there, For I wouldn't make a sound.. I would see ahead of you, to help direct your path, I'd always be there with you.. you'd never have to ask, I'd be there protecting you and keeping you from harm, For nothing is to hard for me...With my loving arms. When you have somewhere to go, I'll be with you in flight. I'll also be ther protecting, In the middle of the night.. So If I had a choice, An angle's what I'd be, I'd be right there beside you... Helping you to see."

"Hahaha... Wala ka man lang pinili sa mga choices na binigay ko sayo ah.. Eh panu kung isa sa mga choices ko sayo ay taglay mo na? Nasa dugong nananalaytay sayo ang panibago mong katauhan, anong gagawin mo Gaelan?"

Ngising demonya na ngayon si Amber na tuwang tuwa sa reaksyon ng binata.

"A - Anong ibig mong sabihin? Amber... don't scare me please!!"

Walang kaalam alam si Gaelan na nagbabago ng kulay ng kanyang mga mata.

"Wala akong masamang gagawin sayo Gaelan. Ang gusto ko lang naman ay ang magkasama tayo. Ayokong maiwang mag isa, gusto kitang kasama kaya nagawa ko yun sayo."

"Naalala ko na.. Kaya mo ba ako kinagat sa leeg para maging... Oh, goodness..."

Sa posibleng naisip nyang mangyayari sa kanya nakaramdam sya ng uhaw, nasapo nyang lalamunan na nanunuyo saka napadila sya sa kanyang labi. Natigilan sya ng masalat ng kanyang dila ang ngipin nyang matutulis.

"Gaelan.."

Nalilitong napabaling ng tingin si Gaelan kay Amber.

"Isa ka ng bampira ngayon. Hindi kana tatanda, hindi mo nako maiiwang mag isa, magkakasama na tayo hanggang sa dulo ng walang hanggan, Gaelan."

"Amber..." Naluluhang sambit ni Gaelan. "Salamat, sa pagmamahal mo, hindi mo lang alam kung gaano ako kasaya dahil naisip mo yun para lang tayo'y magkasama habangbuhay."

"Bring me to life, Gaelan."

Hinalikan ni Amber sa pisngi si Gaelan saka niyakap ng mahigpit. Pero kaagad itong kumalas sa kanyang pagkakayakap, sinapo ang magkabila nyang pisngi saka hinalikan sya ng may pagsuyo.

"I will, my baby devil."

Sinong mag aakala na mapapaibig ni Gaelan ang isang katulad ni Amber? Naghirap.. Nagsakripisyo man sya.. sulit naman ang lahat, dahil ngayon magkasama na silang makikipag sapalaran sa panibagong buhay at kapalaran na kanilang tatahakin...
