Aurora's POV
Although I had imagined what Lucus would look like, seeing him in person still surprised me. He exuded a kingly aura, and even though I didn't have a wolf and couldn't sense the Alpha's aura, I could feel the power rolling off of him.
"Alpha Lucus, you..." I walked towards him, but before I could finish my sentence, he led his entourage straight past me.
I suddenly had a headache. Edward had said that even if his father didn't want to come, he would. Now I understood what he meant.
I turned to look at Edward, who didn't seem as angry as usual at the sight of his father. Instead, he said something to the guests around him and shot me a look before taking Lucas away to a lounge.
I prayed that nothing would happen and prepared to take over entertaining guests.
