Aurora's POV
After a few busy days, my birthday and the engagement party arrived in the blink of an eye. Early in the morning, I stood in the banquet hall wearing a formal dress, checking on everything and everyone.
After all, this was all of my hard work. When I was in charge of planning my and Henry's party, I didn't feel this exhausted. Even checking the guest list made me feel like the pressure on me had doubled.
I was so busy that I was even eating in the small study Edward had provided.
Well, I was partly avoiding Edward too.
The kiss had come as a shock. I know I should have been used to a kill, I've been engaged. But I didn't expect Edward to kiss me.
