AUTHOR'S POV

Colton was unsure of what was happening to his mate, whether it was due to the antidote or not. He was uncertain why she had fainted. He decided to go get some herbal medicine that would help Amelia wake up.
He ran out of the room, down the stairs of his home, through the sitting room, and into a small room next to it.
As soon as he entered, the strong smell of herbal medicines hit his nose, welcoming him. The room felt hot, as there seemed to be no easy way for air to enter, as the window and door had been locked for months. The room was also very dark, but that wasn't an issue - he had his wolf eyes to assist him in seeing. This room was where Colton stored his herbal medicines. There were many cans in the room, ranging from 30cl to 25 liters.
Colton sneezed, covering his mouth with his hand.
He began searching for the herbal medicine he needed. The particular herbal medicine he needed was in a creamy form, usually used when someone faints - it is rubbed on the person's nose, and when breathed in, they sneeze and wake up.
He continued searching, picking up different cans and examining them to check if it was the one he was looking for, and when it wasn't, he would drop them back. He continued this process, growing increasingly frantic as he couldn't find the medicine he was searching for. His heart was racing with fear of losing Amelia.
He searched and searched, scattering the whole room, but still couldn't find the medicine he was looking for. Seconds turned to minutes, and he was still searching. The room was now very cluttered with cans. He continued searching, needing that medicine now to wake his mate.

Meanwhile, while Colton was still in the room searching for the herbal medicine, Amelia slightly blinked her eyes and twitched her right fingers . She murmured some words, then rolled over on the bed, turning from her back to her stomach. Again, she rolled over, returning to her initial position. She blinked slightly again and opened her eyes halfway. She was momentarily disoriented, her vision blurry and her head still aching.
She pressed against her forehead with her left hand, her face folded in a way that showed the pain she was experiencing from the headache. She was still dizzy, but not as much as when she had fainted - the dizziness was now greatly reduced.
She slowly sat up, still pressing against her forehead. The headache seemed to be reducing. Her eyes adjusted, and the blurriness was gone. She fully opened them, and her dizziness was also immediately gone, but the headache was still there, though much reduced now.
She looked around the room, still confused about where she was, as if she had lost her memories or maybe had been taken to a new room. She also wondered, looking at her body, why she was so wet. Her clothes were soaked with water, and her bed too.
"Hello, Amelia," she heard a familiar voice say, which made her leave the thought of why her body was wet and her clothes were soaked. She couldn't recall where she had heard the voice before and who it belonged to, but she knew she had heard it before. She looked around the room to see who had spoken, but there was no one in the room, just her alone.
She wondered who the voice belonged to.
"Amelia," the voice called again. Still, she didn't see the person saying it after looking around.
But just then, everything registered back in her brain, and she recalled where she was and noticed that the voice was coming from within her, and it was Angel, her inner wolf. She was now back to normal, but still didn't recall why her clothes, body, and bed were wet. Anyway, she discarded it and focused on what mattered now - she was back to normal.
Her eyes widened in surprise.
"Angel, is that you?" she called out softly, happiness filling up her lungs almost to the point of suffocation.
"Yes, honey," Angel answered, and Amelia could feel her blush from within.
The antidote worked! She could feel her inner wolf again. She now felt normal, like the werewolf she was. The antidote Colton had given her had killed the effect of the potion the Auctioneer and the Auction winner, Christopher, had given her.
If one were to count the stars in the whole galaxies and multiply them by the Age of the Moon goddess, that would not be up to the amount of happiness in Amelia at the moment. Happiness not without a wide smile on her face.
She jumped out of the bed and was about to call out Colton's name to inform him that She was back to normal, but she held her mouth. She was going to leave his home and his life anytime soon, possibly tonight or even now. So she felt there was no need to inform him. Slowly, her happiness was tinged with a little sadness. She knew he was going to be heartbroken when he found out she had escaped.
But she had no other choice but to leave, and in fact, now would be the best time to do so. She believed that Colton, wherever he was, was sleeping, and she had no other reason to believe otherwise.
The thought of leaving was one that was supposed to make her happy, as she had accomplished her plans, but the opposite was the case. It made her sad. She couldn't explain why. She felt bad for Colton. He had done a lot of good for her.
She stood where she was, her hands folded under her breast. Her body was still wet.
She sighed frustratedly.
She couldn't stay back. She needed to leave. She had many plans she wanted to accomplish, so she needed to find her way out of this pack and to the Wyrmshold, as her father had told her before being captured during the attack that resulted in the death of all her pack members.
She believed Colton would surely be a distraction to her.
She believed that since she wanted to leave, it should be done more perfectly. She planned to do this tonight, so that she would have ample time to find her way down from the mountain and out of the Black Moon pack before the sun rose the next morning.
She knew deep down that since she was leaving him, the best choice she would make was to Reject him, and she would do so now.
"I'm sorry, Colton," she said to herself in a low tone.
