R A I N
I was jotting down notes when I suddenly felt dizzy. My hand paused and I calmed myself down. I had been feeling dizzy for the last two days after leaving the pack land, and I have a strong feeling that it has something to do with Zach. That I was away with my mate and it was slowly killing me. So, it was really true that sometimes it would be fatal to be away with your mate when we aren't bonded yet.
I sighed and looked at the person seating in front of me who turned his head and looked at me.
"Can I borrow. . ." Isaac paused and frowned when he looked at me making me frown at him. "You're pale. I mean you are pale but you look paler." He said and I wasn't surprised to hear it.
"I am?" I said and he nodded.
"Are you sick?"
"No. It's just—nothing. So, what were you asking a while ago?" I said.
"I would like to borrow your physics notes since we're having an exam tomorrow." He said.
"Sure, but you have to give it back today." He nodded and turned his back to me. Then he turned again to face me. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked and I frowned.
"Yes. I'm okay." I said.
I searched my physics notes in my backpack and placed it on top of Isaac's shoulder.
"Thanks." He muttered and I just hummed as a reply. "I'll give this back after lunch."
"'Kay." I muttered.

I felt even sicker during lunch and my friends already noticed and they told me to go to the infirmary or I should just go home, which I prefer the later. Mom said that I shouldn't go to the infirmary or hospitals if anything happens while I was there and let them check me because our vital signs were different from humans and it would bring suspicion.
I just went home so they would stop worrying about me. There was still no one in the house when I arrived, of course, and I went directly to my room and laid down without changing my clothes.
I didn't even notice that I fell asleep and woke up when I heard Auntie Maika calling me and knocking at the door saying I should go down for dinner. All I could summon was a moan.
My body felt heavy and so were my eyelids when I opened my eyes. I felt sick like what my friends described when they were ill. It was awful and I didn't want to move even a single muscle.
My entire body was aching so much. I forced myself to sit and walked to the door and I couldn't help but release a low painful groan with every step I took. I thought I would die before I reach the door. Thankfully, I didn't. I breathed and recomposed myself before I joined dinner.
I felt relieved when I sat on the chair and when I looked at the foods on the table, I felt like vomiting. I really didn't feel like eating.
"Rain." I raised my head, looking at Auntie Maika and she was surprised to see me, so was Uncle Kyle. "Are you okay? You look horrible!" She stood and walked to my side.
"I'm okay." I said and she pressed her hand on my cheek. I even jumped when her freezing hand touched my skin.
"You're obviously not." Wesley said who was beside me and Auntie Maika nodded.
"Say, you've met your mate, right?" Uncle Kyle suddenly asked and I looked at him.
How did he know?
His lips quirked up when I frowned. I know he knew what I was thinking.
"I knew because we only experience this kind of things when you meet your mate, especially when that mate doesn't want you or if there are some sort of conflicts, which I'm guessing is your case?" Uncle Kyle said and I nodded in response.
"You should talk to her. You're not the only one who'll be hurting if you both continue to ignore each other." He said and I felt uneasy to tell them that my mate was not a she.
I nodded and they would still know it anyway. So, it would be better to tell them ahead. "My mate's a male by the way." I said and they all looked at me.
"Who? Is he a werewolf too?" Auntie Maika asked and I nodded.
"He's one of the alpha's son." I said and I heard Wesley's surprised gasp.
"The one who's rude to you?" He said.
"Yeah, it's him."
"That story sounds familiar." Uncle Kyle said. "It sounds like alpha Kurt's and alpha Colin's case."
I just heard a little bit of their story but it didn't even look like they hated each other before, and if it was true, I wondered if how did they worked it out.
I sighed and it seemed like I was feeling a bit better now, but I still didn't feel like eating.
Auntie Maika let me rest and suggested that I shouldn't go to school tomorrow but I couldn't skip class, especially tomorrow since we are having a long exam on physics. I never once get tardy and I didn't want to break my perfect attendance.
**
I was walking to the corridor off to my first class when I heard someone calling my name.
"Rain." I turned around and saw Wesley waving his hand. I frowned. I didn't know what he was doing there in my school.
"Why aren't you running? We're having a test!" He said and grabbed my arm and dragged me with him but my eyes were glued a few meters away.
I just saw Zach in the crowd and I tried to close my eyes and opened it again and he was still there, standing and staring at me with his turquoise blue eyes before he turned around and walked away.
"Wait." I turned at Wesley and pulled my arm from his grip. "You go ahead." I said and jogged to where Zach was without minding Wesley's calling.
But Zach was nowhere to be found when someone grasps my arm making me yelp and pulls me in a dark room, and no matter how I focused my eyes in the darkness, I still couldn't see anything but I could feel him. I could feel Zach, and somehow, he was pinning me to a wall as his hands touched both my cheeks.
"Zach." I muttered his name for confirmation but he just hummed and I felt him moved closer and pressed his soft lips on my throat, feeling his warm breath fanning my neck made me shivered and at the same time comfortable.
His hands slid down to my neck, tracing my shoulder blades down to my chest and I jolted when his big warm hands teasingly passed my n*****s that were already hard now. His hands continued trailing down to my stomach until he reached the waistband of my jeans and he hooked one of his thumbs there, but his other hand continued going south and I let out a shaky gasp when he cupped my c**k under my jeans.
"Rain." I heard him mumbled on my skin as he was giving my shoulders some butterfly kisses.
I groaned his name when he started rubbing his hands on me seductively. I fought myself not to reach for the button of my jeans and remove it since it was growing tighter making me breathe heavily.
I heard him knelt down and kissed my navel as his hand was busy undoing my jeans. I wish I could see him but it was too dark. My heart was beating so crazy inside my chest of what was about to happen, and when I felt my jeans was sliding down on my ankles, Zach nibbled his way down from my navel. I heard myself moaning and my hands flew to his soft hair, gripping it. Just when I felt his warm breath on my erection, I jumped when I heard the door flew open.
I yelped loudly as I sat instantly from the bed when I opened my eyes and turned my head to the door where Auntie Maika was standing.
"I heard you groaning loudly when I passed by. Are you okay?" She asked as she walked closer to the bed.
"I'm fine, Auntie. Just a. . ." I paused and frowned when I realized what was happening and pulled the blanket closer to me. "A bad dream." I continued and she nodded.
"You're sweating and you're eyes." She said pointing my eyes and I glanced at the mirror. I was surprised when I saw my eyes were glowing.
"I'm fine. I just need to calm myself down. Thank you for waking me up, Auntie." I said and she nodded and I felt glad when she walked to the door.
"You should rest for the whole day and do come down if you're hungry and don't be shy to call us if anything happens." She said and I nodded before she closed the door.
I just realized I was holding my breath until Aunt Maika was gone. I stood and run to lock the door.
I wanted to slam my head on the wall and maybe hide for the rest of my lifetime. I just dreamt of Zach doing things with my body and it seriously felt so real, and the most embarrassing part was I felt wet down there.
I groaned and messed my hair. What the hell was that!
I walked to the mirror and calmed myself down and watched my eyes turn back to normal. I knew it was my wolf's doing for having those kind of dreams because he wanted to be with Zach.
I sighed and noticed that I felt so much better than yesterday. All my aches were gone making me feel relieved that I didn't have to skip class.
I decided to take a shower and I couldn't help but thought of Zach while cleaning myself under the shower. Him sliding his warm hands down—I smashed my head at the tiled wall so hard making me yelp and I could feel blood sliding down from a cut. I raised my head, facing the shower to wash the blood and the strange thing was, it wasn't healing. I pressed my finger applying pressure to the cut and turned the shower off. I went to the lavatory and I think it wouldn't heal for a while because my wolf was too dumb and crazy for his mate to function. I searched for a BandAid and it was my first time using it.
**
I walked to the kitchen and they all glanced at me—at my forehead, rather.
"What's that?" Auntie Maika asked when I sat down on my seat next to Wesley.
"I had a little accident in the shower." I said and poured my cup with coffee.
"You're not healing?" Wesley asked and I nodded.
"You have to find your mate." Uncle Kyle said making me pause.
Yes, I think I have to find Zach because I think my wolf's dead, but not now, not that instant because I didn't know what kind of face I was going to show him. Not after I dreamt of him in a very wrong way.
I nodded at what Uncle Kyle said and started eating. I gave Auntie Maika a reassuring smile when I caught her looking at me with worried look.
"So, you feel okay now?" She asked and I nodded.
"You don't have to worry about me too much. I'm fine." I said and she glanced at my forehead before nodding.
It was just a small cut, but it wasn't healing—err, it was, but slowly.
**
I was ten minutes late to my first class because the fvcking cut on my forehead started bleeding again and it took me long minutes to stop it. I slammed my locker closed and run down the corridor. When I turned to the last corridor, seven classrooms before my room, I halted abruptly when I smelt that familiar spicy sweet scent making all my hairs stand. My sharp senses were back that I could even hear the ticking of my watch from my wrist.
My feet started walking again without my control slowly at first until I jogged to my room where I could smell Zach, which was impossible.
I went inside in a hurry and class haven't started yet but it doesn't really matter. I turned my head to my chair and there, I saw Zach sitting on my chair and chatting with my classmates.
"Rain, you're late." I heard Luke, my seatmate, said but my eyes were locked to Zach and so was Zach's eyes to mine.
What the hell is he doing here?
"You might be wondering who he is. He's Zach by the way, our new classmate." Isaac said and I felt my heart just beat faster.
New classmate?
That Goddess!
I did say I want to meet him, but not now!
