*Luna* I moaned as I tried to open my eyes, but I suppressed the pain and kept pushing. Everything hurt, itched, stung, or maybe all at once because I wanted to relieve the pain, scratch the skin, and wash off all the sweat and dirt I felt. "Ms. Monroe, please open your eyes." A pleasant female voice rang out above me, strengthening my resolve. "Relax, Ms. Monroe. You're safe at the hospital. Please take your time." Another female voice, this time to my left, made my empty mind begin to fill with images that were filled with blood, fear, and tragedy. My heart sped up, my breathing too, and my body, which had been itching a moment ago, began to tremble in fear of the people who, without blinking an eye, pulled the trigger, killing all the dozen or so women I was trying to protect in tha
