I stared at the landscape outside the window, although my eyes weren't focused on anything specific. The only thing I recorded was the sky's changing color, marking the passing of time. As I cried under the blanket, waiting for the doctor, the sky was blue, and the sun was blazing yellow above the treetops. Now, as I sit here, following the doctor's instructions regarding my condition, the blue has turned into a kaleidoscope of orange, red, and gray, and at some points, it has turned purple.
