LAUREEN'S POV The trip back home was a quiet one, even though we sat in the same part of his private jet, we still did not say a word to each other throughout the short journey back to Los Angeles. This tension in the air was due to two things for me. First, was Beryl, a woman I didn't even know but one I knew I couldn't measure up to, just as he had told Joel.
