LAUREEN'S POV “Mom!" I exclaimed as I ran almost in tears to the bed that my mom laid on. I held her hands and let the tears fall, not even caring who else was in the room with us. I stared at my mom's relaxed and peaceful face as she laid unconscious and more tears ran down my face. “I'm sorry, mom. I'm sorry I was not here in time to see you." I said sobbing as I sucked in more and more breath, finding it difficult to breathe.
