LAUREEN'S POV
I had just gotten to the hospital but from my view it seemed my mom was still asleep.
“Fine Morning, Mrs Treasure."
" Thank you, Mrs Rhyde.”
" Someone called that mom was awake.” I said to her as I dropped the bags of homemade food I had come with and began walking towards my mom's bed.
“Yes, the hospital staff offered to call you and she was awake. She just closed her eyes a few minutes ago." She responded as I took a seat by my mom's bed and stared into her now pale face.
“Okay, thank you." I said to Mrs Treasure while looking at my mom's face and taking her hands in mine.
I kept rubbing her palms till she opened her eyes very slowly.
“Hey mom." I greeted her, and she smiled very slowly at me.
“My baby." She said in a low voice that only I could hear.
