Father's Advised

"Good afternoon father," Jason greeted, standing rightly in front of his father whom sat on the head Alpha seat, And staring out to the entrance door as Beta Nathan stood rightly next to his side, and Jason wasn't least of concerned what Beta Nathan and his father were discussing about.

Ever since his father had given him the protection amulet even as Jason knew it wasn't needed of him, Jason knew Beta Nathan was a mischievous male wolf and he wondered what his father saw in Beta Nathan, that made his father still had Beta Nathan as his trusted right hand man, when Beta Nathan should had definitely been replaced a long time ago with another elder.

"Am sure you might be wondering why I summoned you here as that has to do with what you told me previously about the late former ruler of Gold City kingdom children," Alpha Eli spoked and Jason continued staring to his father.

"Okay father, So what have you concluded as am not going anytime soon to Gold city."

"Why Jason?" Alpha Eli asked and Jason laughed first and shook his head as his face became serious.

"Are you asking me why father?, Like you didn't heard my previous explanation about the humans now having harmed weapons and hunting desperately for us. And even the tower gate ain't strong enough to guard our packs and villages, keeping us away from the humans reach, as they are revolving and beginning to develop more dangerous weapons."

"I know Jason. " Alpha Eli sighed.

"But we still have to protect and do something about the late Ruler's daughter and son."

"Nothing of that is my business as for now father. They ain't related to us, and even Elder Axel Marcus wouldn't risked his life to travelled out farther away to saved his nephew and niece," Jason remarked and his father's frowned deepened.

"Are you advising, we should leave our own to be killed the humans, when they might as well be oblivious to the fact that they're wolves?," Alpha Eli questioned out loudly, just as most of the elders and chiefs in their packs, started walking in and Alpha Eli shifted his gazed away from Jason to stared to the elders, while the elderly chiefs started filling the hall seat one by one to not missed out on the new development and meeting with their Alpha, to knew what was ongoing in their pack and if their family and homes were safe.

"Father.." Jason tried to spoked but Alpha Eli curt him short.

"Don't utter any more words Jason. You're chosen as the new Alpha and that comes with a responsibility of protecting your pack members. Aside from the curse, you are still supposed to know your dutifully role as being the next Alpha. You will have to travel back to Gold City kingdom tomorrow and stayed there for some days or two and try to build a connection with the humans princess."

"What father?!" Jason jaw dropped but Alpha Eli face remained serious.

"Am serious Jason. Tomorrow you should prepare to leave, when you're able to create a bond with the princess, that would lessen the eyes and suspicion of you, One. And that would also chase away every other possible suitors that the princess will be having, Knowing one of the council members want to court with her too. Am not asking of you to mate with her, but if we can get to bring them safely away, that will lessen the suspicion hovering around, and more likely they won't transform to the humans view in broad day light when provoke as they don't know what they're," Alpha Eli concluded and Jason fist clenched as his green eyes held his father's yellow eyes whom stared away from him and to the rest of the meeting members.

"When Jason is set to bring the late human's ruler daughter here. The town crier will let you all know before hand," Alpha Eli informed the elders gathered, while one of the elders stood up and asked,.

"But Alpha, won't that be risky?, As if the humans know of our hideout, Won't they want to freely be visiting us here?."

"No!. The werewolves at the gate won't let any stranger inside here except base on Invitation and so long Jason will accompany her here and escort her back, that won't be a problem as Jason had confirmed it by himself that the human princess likes him."

"Hmm.." Jason wanted to protested but he kept his cool and continued staring to his father, while the elders continued asking,

"What if after the princess left and gossiped about our village to her people?. We don't want to lose our families yet."

"The princess is a wolf too, and am sure she possessed the quality of protecting her love one. She's already in love with Jason and that settles the fact that she won't leaked a secret if Jason asked her not too," Alpha Eli assured them and Jason wanted to protested again, not liking how his father was publicly joining him and Mia as lovers to the elders, but another elder stood up and asked,

"But Jason is cursed!. How are we sure the human princess is Jason's mate?."

Alpha Eli was silent at first and Beta Nathan spoked, "Jason is cursed didn't meant he cannot perform or cannot impregnated a she-wolf. Just that it would be more difficult for him to mate with a she-wolf that he isn't in love with as the mating bond would have help him to get her pregnant quickly. But even as he's cursed to not being able to produce a seed, most she wolves loves him and he can have fun to satisfy them, and same as the human princess."

Jason felt his muscles hardened in annoyance just by standing there and listening to Beta Nathan words about him having fun with Mia, and he really wanted to leave the meeting hall which was their mansion grand floor but he knew truly that the responsibility of protecting their pack members and ensuring their safety was his. Even though he couldn't be easily killed with a bullet that didn't meant majority of their werewolves too wouldn't be killed by the same bullet and he sighed.

"So Jason will be leaving tomorrow and whenever the princess will be visiting us, Jason will let us know," Alpha Eli announced to ended the meeting but Another elder asked him,

"What if Jason left and returned with the human princess?. Won't it be best to inform the villagers now before hand so they will as much as us, be aware that Jason is going to bring a meat to us."

"She's no meat but a Wolf like us. Grace Marcus made a terrible mistake running away from our pack many years ago to marry a human, and am sure that's one of their traits in witchcraft. If only Wise one Austin wasn't fated to served the moon goddess, we all knew how she was madly in love with Austin. But heartbroken to get rejected and also not able to shapeshifted, she ran away only to enchant the innocent Crown Prince with her bare body. We have to do the needful and Jason will update the guards at the tower gate, if he arrives with the princess. This meeting is over." Alpha Eli ended the meeting and soon all the elders that had settled in the meeting hall to withnessed the new development in their lands, stood up and stared exiting the meeting hall one by one, until only Jason, Beta Nathan and Alpha Eli were left in the hall.

"Am going upstairs to my chamber to rest father. I haven't had anything to eaten since morning," Jason murmured as he walked to the stairs and Alpha Eli replied,

"But Ava made something for you to eat this morning."

"No father, let me check the kitchen and prepare something by myself," Jason replied and Alpha Eli brows knotted.

"Can you cook Jason, Don't set this mansion ablaze and know that it took years of hard labour to elevate this mansion and not just a day job?."

Jason paused in between the dinning hall and kitchen door and peered back at his father and he replied out loudly, "I will be careful."

Alpha Eli sighed while Beta Nathan rather spoked to him, "Am leaving now Alpha."

"That's alright. We will all be looking forward to seeing Jason bringing the princess hone safely, and creating a bond that might lead to reproduction hopefully."

"Okay Alpha, Good night."

Beta Nathan wasn't happy about the fact of the new development as he still wanted to got rid of Jason but he thought to kept mute and played his own role as Alpha Eli personal assistant, while waiting for the right opportunity to strike and got Jason out of the way. As he had told the rest of the elders that Jason could still reproduce, but even him wasn't so sure about that, but he just wanted the meeting to end, and so he left.
