My phone rang as I typed away on my laptop. I had spent all day researching the Blue Group of companies. I needed to find out the details of their debt before I presented my bid to Randy Blue. The fact that he had easily agreed to sell his company to me a day after proposing a merger to me looked suspicious. I wouldn't have understood the depth of the sensitivity of the matter assuming Leo hadn't pointed it out.
