"First Kei University is known for having great players that actually beat other sports players in a worldwide olympics even though they are just a new member of the world sports committee," paliwanag sa akin ni Louie habang binibisita namin ang bawat sports court na mayroon dito sa campus ground. "Kaya naman mataas ang standards ng bawat club para sa mga sasali sa kanila. They hold a series of trials just to make sure that the students who want to join them can contribute in their club."

"So?" sabi ko. "Joining a sports club is not going to be easy?"

Tumango siya. "Well, you can apply as the club manager. But if you want to become their player, even though you are just a reserve, you will have to face those kinds of trials that they prepare."

Kung pagiging athletic lang naman ang pag-uusapan, I can say that I have the ability to play any kind of sports. Mabilis ang reflexes ko at malakas ang lahat ng muscle mula ulo hanggang paa.

But joining a sports club will surely take up more time of mine because of its everyday practice that I am sure they require because, just like Louie said earlier, First Kei University's sports representatives manage to beat other country's school representatives even though they are new with olympics.

"Then, I think I will pass these sports clubs," sabi ko.

Masyado na ngang maraming oras na mailalaan ko para sa academic learning ng school na ito, tapos dadagdagan ko pa ng club activities.

Which I am not sure I can do.

Yes, I am striving for a normal life that I was supposed to have before so attending school is really necessary.

Pero kahit ano naman ang gawin ko ay hindi ko na kailanman maiaalis kung ano talaga ako. It is already part of who I am so I still want to be that kind of person.

I know I am being greedy but I am not hurting or bothering anyone so I think it will be okay.

"Do you want me to show you the martial arts club?" tanong ni Louie. "I am sure that you will like it."

Martial arts clubs are also joining competitions against other schools. They practice more often in and outside the school so I think they will also consume most of my time.

Umiling ako. "I don't want that."

"Hmm…" Hinimas niya ang kanyang baba habang nag-iisip pagkuwa'y bumaling sa akin muli. "Do you have something in mind? Kahit iyong hinahanap mo lang sa isang club na gusto mong salihan?"

"Do you have any club where I don't have to do anything?" mabilis kong tanong sa kanya na ikinakunot ng noo niya. "To be honest, I don't really like to join any clubs but this is required so I don't have any choice."

"But you don't want to do anything so you are asking me about a club that doesn't do anything?"

Tumango ako. "It would be great if that club also had a shorter club meeting," dagdag ko. "Or better, a club that doesn't conduct meetings."

"Are you sure about that?"

Muli akong tumango tsaka itinuro ang mukha ko. "Tingin mo ba sa mukhang ito ang nagbibiro?"

Tinitigan niya ako pag kuwa'y bumuntong huminga.

Alam ko naman na hindi madali ang hinihingi ko sa kanya but that is what I really want just to stay in this school for a while.

"There is one club here that fist what you want," sabi niya na ikinalaki ng mga mata ko.

Medyo nakaramdam ako ng excitement nang marinig ang sinabi niya. Aba'y ibig sabihin lang naman kasi noon ay makaka-save ako ng oras na maaari kong ilaan sa ibang bagay.

"Really?"

Siya naman ngayon ang tumango. "Yes. It was actually President Lychee's club."

Mabilis na nawala ang excitement na naramdaman ko kanina matapos kong marinig ang pangalan ng pesteng si Lychee.

"To be honest, no one really knows what they are doing in their club room," aniya. "But some of the people who tried to join their club said that they are not doing anything when they observe that room."

"As in, they are not doing anything?" tanong ko. "I mean, really?"

Muli siyang tumango. "According to those people who witnessed the try-outs, the members of those clubs are just reading novels, playing on their phones, chatting and sleeping," kwento niya. "Then, after just a couple of minutes, they will ask the try-out student to leave the room because they failed."

"Failed without doing anything at all?"

Medyo nagkaroon ako ng ideya kung ano ang ginagawa ng club na iyon dahil nga kabilang din si Lychee sa club na iyon. But I think I need to know more for me to confirm what I just have in mind.

"I don't know their criteria for accepting their members," aniya. "But If you really wanted a club that doesn't do anything, this is what I suggest to you."

Medyo malakas na ang loob ko sa nangyayari sa club ni Lychee. Pero hindi ko naman mapapatunayan iyon kung hindi ko susubukan na alamin iyon.

"Do you want to visit their club room?" tanong ni Louie na agad kong tinanguan. "Then, follow me. Just don't expect anything at all. Malakas din kasi ang balita sa buong school na ang lahat ng miyembro na dinadala doon ni President Lychee ay may pagka-weird so you better prepare yourself."

Well, involving in something or someone weird is not new to me so I don't really don't mind anything about the members.

I just wanted to know what they are doing inside their club room. And the fact that they don't really do much in their club.

Sumunod na lang ako kay Louie na agad tinahak ang kabilang direksyon mula sa mga sports court kung nasaan kami.

Nasa bandang timog ng campus daw kasi ang club room ng mga students at medyo malayo-layo iyon sa kinatatayuan namin kanina.

"But still," ani Louie nang makitang malapit na kami sa isang building kung nasaan ang ibang club room ng school. "Basta, ihanda mo lang ang sarili mo sa makikita mo doon o kung magdedesisyon ka na mag-try out ay ikondisyon mo ng mabuti ang katawan mo,  Ayon din kasi sa source ko ay maliban sa mga ibinagsak nila nang wala man lang ginagawa, mayroon ding ilan sa kanila ang bumagsak dahil sa pagwawala ng mga ito sa loob ng club room."

"Eh?

"I don't know what they are doing," aniya. "Just prepare yourself."
