It was like a scene from a movie, except it was happening to me. He replied that I was the only girl on his mind. I was starstruck, and I couldn't believe what was happening. He had just confessed his feelings for me, and I had no idea what to do. I wanted to say something, but my words were stuck in my throat.
"You don't have to say anything," he assured, as if reading my mind. "I just wanted you to know how I felt."
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. "Thank you for being honest," I finally managed to say. "It's just a lot toprocess."
He nodded, his eyes understanding. "I know it is. You can take your time. I'm not going anywhere."
I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I was grateful that he was being so patient and understanding. I took another
