“Understandable. And we’d better get back before they wonder why it’s taking so long.”

Kel laughed. “Richard knows I wouldn’t succumb to your charms. Steve on the other hand…”

When they returned to the living room, Kel said, “Richard, was there a reason you moved the aspirin?”
Richard obviously caught on why Kel had asked because he apologized, saying he’d taken some the previous day and left the bottle in the office in case he needed more.
“Have you guys come up with any solid ideas about who’s behind this?” Jace asked as he retook his seat next to Steve.
