Chapter 12Despite Loman’s saying he’d be gone before Steve arrived at the shop Tuesday morning, he wasn’t about to take a chance he might still be there at ten when Paul got to work. As a result, he was there at nine-thirty. Everything appeared to be normal; including the fact there wasn’t an extra person on the premises, to wit Loman. He did notice, when he went into the laundry s***h break room that the lid of the washing machine was up and he never left it like that. He figured Loman must have taken advantage of its being there to do his wash. When he went to put his lunch in the mini fridge and found it empty, he was less than happy. “I said you could take some of the snacks, not all of them,” he grumbled.
