Chapter 12Despite Loman’s saying he’d be gone before Steve arrived at the shop Tuesday morning, he wasn’t about to take a chance he might still be there at ten when Paul got to work. As a result, he was there at nine-thirty. Everything appeared to be normal; including the fact there wasn’t an extra person on the premises, to wit Loman. He did notice, when he went into the laundry s***h break room that the lid of the washing machine was up and he never left it like that.
