Chapter 11“Monday, Monday,” Steve hummed as he showered and then got dressed for the day. Since he didn’t have to work, he put on an old pair of jeans and his favorite ancient sweatshirt.
The first thing he needed to do, after breakfast, was go by the shop to let Loman out. Of course he may have done that already. He undoubtedly knows a lot about how to bypass security, given he was working with the burglary gang. He decided to call Jace to get Loman’s phone number and then call him to find out if he was right.
Breakfast came first, though. He was in the middle of scrambling eggs when his phone rang. It was Jace, telling him he was downstairs. Surprised, but happily so, Steve buzzed him in, letting him into the apartment a couple of minutes later.
