"Scarlet, darling. What are you up to this time?" Mr. Juvy, Scarlet's father, heard the news.

He did nothing about it until Reginald called him, ranting and telling lies against Scarlet for sacking him.

Scarlet denied being up to anything until her father directly stated Reginald's claims.

Scarlet rolled her eyes. What did she expect in the first place, for Reginald to be truthful to her father that he cheated on her?

"I just want to launch the company further, dad. Reginald has to go because he has become complacent." Scarlet would not bother to give her father any explanation.

She was in charge of the company, and her decision was final.

"You said it yourself that he was the best for the job, remember? You went on and on about him before you hired him," Mr. Juvy said.

"Yes dad, I said so, but that was then and at this time, things have changed. Like I said, he is now complacent, which means..." Scarlet was explaining.

"Which means he's not bringing anything new to the table," Mr. Juvy completed the sentence.

"Exactly." Scarlet was happy that her father understood her.

"Okay. And the replacement for him is his brother?" Mr. Juvy smiled mischievously over the phone, knowing exactly what his daughter was up to.

Scarlet was quiet.

"Scarlet..." Mr. Juvy called.

"I trust you not to do anything to compromise the reputation of Juvy Group, right?" He asked.

"Juvy Group is just fine dad. In fact, Juvy Group is about to soar higher." Scarlet was sure of herself.

"That's my girl. As long as you are sure of yourself, Daddy has no problem with you, and I'm ready to support you in whichever way." Mr. Juvy hung up the phone call soon after.

Scarlet felt rejuvenated with energy after hearing her father's support for her.

Initially, she worried he would frown at Ronnie taking Reginald's place.

Now that her father was out of the way, Scarlet could continue taking revenge on Reginald effectively.

She made sure the HR manager had done all that was necessary to welcome their new CEO.

That being done, Scarlet accepted a press conference to orepoerly state her stand and announce to the world that Reginald Cray was indeed, no longer a member of the Juvy Group.

The press conference saw the entire media houses in the city in different categories. All of them gathered and were interested in the drama that had unfolded in Juvy Group.

''Miss. Juvy, can you tell us exactly what occurred in Juvy Group?'' A reporter asked.

''Well...Juvy Group is going through some changes that I think are needed desperately to move the company to another milestone. We have been doing well, but we are stagnant, and...'' Scarlet started to say.

''I hear the former CEO, Reginald Cray, has been replaced with his brother, is that true?'' Trust journalists not to spare any moment when they catch a big fish under their microphone.

''Yes, Reginald Cray has been replaced by Ronnie Cray...'' Scarlet said without apology.

''Does that mean that he has also been replaced on your bed? I heard he cheated on you...'' A nosy male reporter asked.

Scarlet sighed warily. The reporters were starting to wear her out.

''The Juvy Group will in due time, relate to the public about this new chapter that it is embarking on, and I trust everyone to supposrt the group in ways that wioll only propel the group forward and not take us back to a place we are trying to step out from.'' Scarlet said those words and left the podium.

''Miss. Juvy...Miss Juvy...'' The reporters were all over Scarlet, wanting to know more, but she ignored them until she heard a loud and familiar voice say, ''you have to tell them if Ronnie Cray will be taking Reginald's place on your bed also.''

All heads turned to the direction from where the voice was coming from and they gasped when they saw Reginald Cray behind, making his way majestically to the front of the crowd.

Scarlet was shocked at first, but she soon regained her composure and stared at Reginald with dominance as he walked towards her.

There was no way a man that had cheated on her would have the audacity to bully her in her company and a press conference that she had agreed to adhere to.

''Whoever I have on my bed is my business and nobody else', and that person is certainly not Reginald Cray.'' Scarlet walked out as soon as she made that final announcement.

Everyone was shocked.

''Scarlet...'' Reginald said with a harsh whisper as he hurried after her.

Scarlet was not going to deal with him so she continued to walk out on him.

''Scarlet, you can't do this...'' Reginald eventually got a hold of her and pulled Scarlet towards him.

Scarlet was mad.

She glared at her security, wondering why they allowed Reginald that close to her but the man's hands were tied. Scarlet's security could not bring himself to just dismiss Reginald like that after a long time of taking orders from him.

Yes, Reginald could also direct and instruct Scarlet's security when he was her fiance as well as the CEO of Juvy group, but he no longer had that privilege.

''Reginald, do not make a joke of yourself in the open, okay. I have told you before, it is over. Go your way, and I'll go mine. The finance department would pay you for this month and give you a bonus by paying you next month's salary. Have I not been fair enough? Remember you also have a pension of 40% of your salary. So? Why won't you let me be?'' Scarlet asked, and of course, she was not going to wait for a reply from Reginald because she knew he was just going to beg and try to coax her into accepting him back, so she walked out on him without a doubt.
