Amethyst's POV
"Amy, wake up"
I felt someone shake me.
I groaned in response as I turned to my side and covered my face with a pillow.
"Amy, wake up!"
No, I don't want to.
I want to sleep more.
5 more minutes...
Just....5 more minutes..
"Amy!"
I opened my eyes as I sat up with a grumpy pout.
"Why?" I said sleepily.
"You need to get up" Ara said.
"Whyyy?" I said laying down again and covering myself with my blanket.
Ara pulled the blanket from me making me frown.
"You really really need to get up, Amy" Ara said.
What's so important this early in the morning that I should quickly get up.
"I'm still sleepy" I whined.
"I'm sorry, Amy. I don't want to wake you up this early either but---" Ara was explaining when the door to my room suddenly burst open.
I sat up again and my eyes widened when I saw the man by the door.
Shaw.
"Good morning, fiancée" Shaw greeted as he crossed his arms in front of his chest.
I glanced at Ara with a surprised look.
She gave me a knowing look.
What the hell is he doing here this early in the morning?!
I looked at Shaw with furrowed brows.
Shaw stared at me with a frown.
Then, Ady suddenly came from behind Shaw.
"I told you that you can't go in here. This is trespassing" Ady scolded.
Then, Ady looked at our direction and rushed towards us.
"Quickly get ready. We'll wait for you downstairs" Ady whispered to me.
I frowned.
"Amethyst" he said sternly.
I rolled my eyes and got out of my bed.
I went straight to the bathroom and slammed the door shut.
I looked at myself in the mirror and ruined my own hair in frustration.
"What the hell is wrong with him?" I muttered under my breath.
I huffed.
Freaking Shaw.
I showered and got ready for the day earlier that I planned to.
I wore a white oversized tee and a pair of black leggings then headed downstairs.
I went to the living room with a frown on my face.
As soon as I saw Shaw, my mood became even worse than it already was.
Ady and Ara sat across from Shaw.
Then, there were guards.
I didn't recognize them so I figured that they were Shaw's.
They didn't seem to be talking with one another but just waiting for me.
I made my way to them and Shaw was the first one to see me.
"What are you doing here?" I said crossing my arms infront of my chest.
Ady and Ara turned to look at me.
Shaw raised a brow as he looked at me.
Then, he stood up and made his way towards me.
We met by the middle as he stood in front of me with an unreadable expression on his face.
I stood my ground.
"Amy. Shaw" Ady said holding me by my arm.
"You guys should sit down and talk" Ady added.
I glanced at Ady.
"I don't need to sit down and talk with him. I don't need to. I don't want to" I said and turned my back at Shaw.
But then, he grabbed me by my arm.
The next thing I know, he lifted me up and carried me on his back.
Again.
Just like yesterday.
I squeaked in surprise and started hitting him on the back.
"Let me down, you thug!" I shouted.
"Shaw!" Ady shouted in shock.
"I just need a moment to talk to her" Shaw said and started walking away with me on his back.
Ady and Ara were going to catch up to us but they were stopped by Shaw's bodyguard.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I screamed as I continued to struggle to get out of his hold.
"Stay still or I'll drop you" he said in a warning tone.
"Then, drop me!" I challenged.
Shaw didn't do anything.
He just continued making his way outside the mansion.
"Ugh! For fck's sake, Shaw! Let me go!" I said.
As soon as we reached the garden, he put me down.
I looked at him with furrowed brows.
"Are you a freaking thug?! What in the world is wrong with you?!" I shouted angrily.
Shaw just looked at me with furrowed brows.
I took a deep breath as I calmed myself down.
It's hard to do such a thing considering that the mere sight of Shaw infuriates me.
After I calmed down a bit, I looked at Shaw again.
"What did you need to come here this early in the morning and disrupt my day with my family?" I said.
Shaw eyed me as he raised a brow at me.
"You don't know?" he said.
I looked at him in disbelief.
"Of course I don't know. I'm not a mind reader and we're definitely not close enough for you and I to talk about your matters" I said.
Shaw crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"I called you last night" he said.
"And? What about it?" I said.
Shaw frowned.
"Who did you think called you?" he asked.
I raised a brow at him.
"Definitely not you" I answered.
I saw Shaw's jaw clench.
"Is that why you're here? To ask me who I was expecting a call from last night? Seriously?" I said in disbelief.
Shaw looked at me seriously.
"Yes" he said.
I sighed and massaged the bridge of my nose.
"You're unbelievable" I said feeling frustrated.
He went through all this ruckus to ask me that.
"You're engaged" he said.
I looked at him.
"What's your point?" I said.
Shaw looked at me with furrowed brows.
"You're not allowed to date any guys when you're with me, Wright" he said stepping towards me with a dark expression on his face.
I stopped him from getting closer with my hand as I met his eyes.
"For the record, this is all arranged. And second of all, although I don't need to explain myself to you in any way, I'll tell you anyway" I started.
"I wasn't expecting a call from a guy" I said.
Shaw raised a brow at me.
"Then who exactly were you expecting a call from huh?" he said eyeing me.
"My best friend. She's a female" I said pushing Shaw back.
"It wasn't a fcking guy so leave me alone, will you?" I said and walked away from him.
But Shaw caught up with me as he held me by the wrist.
"What is it now?" I spat.
Shaw sighed.
"What are you doing today?" he asked.
I rolled my eyes.
"That's none of your business" I said and pulled my hand back.
"Amethyst" he called as he joined me in walking back to the mansion.
"Amethyst" he said again as he stopped me by my arm this time.
I glared at him.
"I'm going out with Ara to the mall, okay? Now, can you please leave me alone, Shaw? Ghad" I said and walked away from him.
He's one hell of a headache.
"Amy!" Ara shouted when she saw me.
She rushed to my direction and I caught her in my arms for a hug.
"Are you okay?" she asked worried.
Ara's eyes looked red and teary.
"I'm fine. Did you cry?" I said cupping her face in worry.
Ara pouted sadly as she buried her face on my neck and started sobbing.
My brows furrowed and I looked at Ady who was now beside us.
"What happened while I was gone?" I asked.
"Nothing. We were just stopped by Shaw's guards so Ara was worried about you" he said.
I sighed as I caressed Ara's back.
"I'm fine, Ara. I'm fine" I cooed as I calmed her down.
Shaw walked in and I slightly glared at him.
This is his fault.
"Hush. I'm fine. I'm fine" I assured Ara and planted a kiss on her head to soothe her.
After that, Ara calmed down.
"Go and get dressed. I'm taking you out to the mall" I whispered to her.
"But your fiancée is here" she said.
I shook my head.
"Ignore him. Go upstairs and get dressed. I'll follow you a little later after I talk to Ady" I told her.
Ara nodded hesitantly and left to get dressed for our agenda for the day.
Even Shaw can't stop me from doing what I want to do.
I turned to look at Ady.
"Are you going to work?" I asked him.
Ady sighed and nodded.
"I am. Are you two still going to the mall?" he asked.
I nodded.
"Of course" I said.
Then, we glanced at Shaw.
"Aren't you supposed to be leaving?" I said.
Shaw sat down on the living room couch.
Seriously?
"No. I'm planning on accompanying you and your sister to the mall" he said with a shrug.
I raised a brow at him.
"Excuse me?" I said in disbelief.
"You heard me" he said.
My jaw clenched.
I just shook my head in disbelief and huffed in frustration.
"Whatever" I said and stomped my way towards the direction of my room.
Ara was already in my room dressing up.
"Is everything okay?" she asked seeing me.
My expression softened and I gave her a small smile.
"Yeah. It's just..." I said and paused.
"It's just what?" Ara asked.
"It's just that we'll need to go to the mall with Shaw" I told her.
"Your fiance?" she said.
I nodded.
Ara looked worried.
"Do you feel uncomfortable with it?" I asked her carefully.
"Well it's not that. It's just that...he's...uhm... a little bit scary" Ara admitted.
I sighed.
"It's fine. I'll be there the whole time. He just wanted to come to accompany us" I told her.
Ara looked at me.
"Earlier he..." Ara started.
"He wanted to talk to me about something from last night. A misunderstanding. He was upset and wanted me to talk to him that's why he did what he's not dangerous or anything. He's a little out of line and exaggerated but that's about that" I explained.
Ara sighed in relief.
"What was it that he wanted to talk about?" Ara asked curiously.
I sighed.
"He wanted to know who I was calling babe last night when he called. I was expecting Celine to call me. I don't know how he got my number so I didn't know he'd be the one calling and mistook him for Celine" I told her.
Ara nodded in understanding.
"Now, come on. Go ahead and get dressed so we can have breakfast with Ady before he leaves for work" I said.
Ara nodded.
Ara and I both got dressed.
I changed into a dusty blue drop shoulder blouse with wide leg shorts and a white cami top inside.
Then, I wore a pair of white sneakers and put my hair into a ponytail.
I didn't bother to put any makeup on since it was just a trip to the mall.
After Ara and I got dressed we headed down.
We saw Ady by the living room as he talked with Shaw.
He's actually serious about going to the mall with us?
What's he's deal?
I'm sure that he has better things to do than accompany us to the mall.
Isn't he a CEO or something?
Can't he just leave me alone?
For Pete's sake, what's he up to?
I expect him to just brush me off and do his thing like probably go out with other females or something.
I don't expect him to chase after me and annoy me every chance that he gets.
I sighed in disappointment.
Ady and Shaw turned to look at us.
"Since Shaw is also here, let's have breakfast together?" Ady suggested.
I would've denied but I didn't exactly have a choice.
Shaw was already here and he's not planning on leaving leaving anytime soon.
I just nodded as we made our way to the dining room.
This is one chaotic morning.
