“Think they’re interested?” Maverick asked as he and Dirk were driving back from Gresham to Portland. “Yes. They’re leery, and it may take some persuasion, but in the end we’ll have two more people working with us.” Dirk checked the rearview mirror. “They’re right behind us, so I don’t think they’re going to back out on meeting us.” “Not that it would do them any good.
