Violet's POV
"Ignore the looks. Some people here have zero respect. Actually, a lot of people don't. That's why I'm so glad you are here! I think you can change the pack for the better and hopefully my brother. I'm sure you noticed how he's a stick in the mud. He wasn't always like that though." Megg tells me, looking sad at the last part.
"What happened? If you don't mind me asking, that is." I was curious about this pack because I know nothing about it.
"You are to be future Luna, of course you deserve to know what happened, but I think it's for my brother to tell you. I'm sorry." This woman is so respectful and I already admire her.
"No apologizes needed, I understand." I reassure her.
We continue the tour and talk the entire time, sharing laughs with one another. I am enjoying her company and would probably be miserable without her. She leads me to the dining room and apparently it's lunch time. The entire pick, including Liam is already at the table.
I go to in the chair next to me and he looks at me with such disgust. "What do you think you are doing?" I thought it was pretty obvious, so I bluntly tell him that I am sitting down to eat. "MEGG!" He suddenly shouts and she scurries to her brother.
"What?" She asks looking annoyed with him.
"Did you not explain the rules to her?" I felt hurt that he couldn't even bother to use my name.
"Wait. You were serious about those?" She asked with attitude. He stands to his feet so quick, making the entire table shake. "YOU WILL NOT DISRESPECT ME AGAIN! FOLLOW MY ORDERS OR YOU WILL BE LOCKED AWAY!"
I can't believe he just threatened his own sister in front of the entire pack. I understand that she should listen to her Alpha, even if he is her brother, but that was a bit extreme. Megg whimpers and bows her head in submission. "Yes, Alpha."
She grabs my hand and leads me into the kitchen. Grabbing a tray, she fills it with a small plate of food and water. "You are to eat every meal in your room." She looks at me, pity and sadness written clear upon her face. I take the tray from her, "Thank you. Please, don't feel bad more me. At least I'm allowed to eat something, right?" She looks me in the eyes, "You are the sweetest woman I've ever met. Please, bring my brother back to me. To us." I offer a small smile and then make my way to my room.
As I eat, I realize my bags are still not in here and I really need to call Alice. Maybe after lunch I can ask Liam where my stuff is and attempt to talk to him.
Alice's POV
I had requested the entire pack to attend breakfast for my first official meeting as Alpha. I wanted to get straight to the point and introduce some new changes to be made within the pack. I join Peter for my regular one on one training, then head to the dining room. Once everyone is seated with plates full of food, I decide to begin. I stand up, and begin. "Thank you all for joining me today for breakfast. I have called you all here to inform you on some changes that are to be made for the Blood Moon Pack."
They all look at me, intrigued with what I was saying. My father, however, looked worried.
"As of right now, she wolves are allowed to train if they are interested in doing so. Well, I am now making it a requirement. At the age of 15, all she wolves are to begin training. I want EVERYONE to be capable of protecting themselves if in a bad situation."
"Next, I want to let you all know that we are officially in alliance with the Full Moon Pack. As some of you know, my sister, Violet, is the mate of Alpha Liam, therefore we are in peace with them." Chatter begins immediately and I ask them to quiet down.
"Any questions?" Many hands fly up and I contain my chuckle. The first question I was asked is, "When does training begin for the she wolves and who is the trainer?" I inform them that I will be the one in charge of training the young girls and today after breakfast is when training begins. This causes a mix of reactions from the girls in that age range. Some look excited while others frightened.
"Is there a battle coming up?" This causes the room to silence. I look at the man who asked this question. "No. Why would you think that there is a battle coming up?" I question him.
He begins to open and close his mouth, trying to figure out the right words to say. Does he know something I don't? "Well?" I urge him on.
"It's just that Alpha Liam has a target on him with the rogue community. The Full Moon Pack is one of the weakest packs around, so they would easily be defeated if fighting alone."
Another hand shoots up and quickly asks, "Are the young girls going to be in battle as well?" Chatter begins to get louder in the room.
"QUIET!" I boom out and the room is once again silent.
"No, the young girls will not be in battle, just training. As for the Full Moon Pack, I am going to figure out why Alpha Liam is being targeted and defuse the situation before it becomes an issue. That being said, if battle were to occur, we would assist them. Violet is part of that pack now and I refuse to let anything or anyone harm her. Understood?"
"YES, ALPHA!" The room echos.
Once breakfast is finished, I begin to head to my room to change when my father stops me in the hallway. "Alice. I would like to speak with you after training. I'll meet you in your office."
