When we got back to the pack house, I asked Michael to round up the Betas and Warriors and brief them on what had happened earlier. They were overjoyed about the news that the future Luna of the pack was found and vowed to do everything in their power to ensure her safety. Titan was already head over heels in love with our mate, but I don't know if what I felt seeing her in her wolf form is love. Yes, there is no denying the strong connection I felt, but what if her human form and her personality disappoint? From what Skylar had said, I have to accept her no matter what. I decided to take a much needed shower to relax my mind. It was buzzing with thoughts of what could happen the next day. Titan was silent since we got back, and I let him be. He was probably taking one of his deep sleeps. I was so deep in thought that I didn't even notice Celeste slip into the shower. "Hope you don't mind me joining you, Alpha. I heard you had some trouble earlier on, so I thought I could help you destress a bit." I was really not in the mood for Celeste or any one and was about to send her off when she got down on her knees in front of me and said, "Shhhhh, don't say a word. Just let me take care of you." "THAT'S ENOUGH CELESTE! YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN YOUR PLACE! THERE IS NO US. IT WAS JUST s*x! GET OUT OF HERE NOW!" She broke down crying as she ran out. "I think this is the perfect time to say, 'I told you so, Roman' but, heck, what do I know!" Titan just had to add his sarcastic comment!

We were having the best time of our lives running through the forest, but it had to be cut short because of some unknown danger that was lurking. When we got back to Skylar's place, some of her ladies helped me shift back to my human form. It was also very painful but not as severe as my first shift to wolf form. Just as I was getting dressed, Lucas rushed in and called Skylar to come outside quickly. I looked out the window to try and see what got him so panicked. The entire property was covered with what looked like a dome of black, clouds of smoke. But this was not ordinary smoke. Anyone who touched it or attempted to get through caught alight. Skylar raised her hands and started chanting spells like a crazy woman. "Sky, you have to stop. Please STOP! Your nose is bleeding. You can't do this on your own. It's very strong dark magic and you are not prepared for this. Please rest a bit, I will get the others to help." Lucas sounded stressed out as he tried to convince Skylar to stop. Thankfully, she listened to him. A few younger sorceresses in training joined Skylar, and together, they managed to clear up the smoke. Now, it's like I have to expect the unexpected every second of my new life. I then heard Lucas shout that they had to rush to help the Alpha. He was under attack! Everything was happening so fast before my eyes, and before I knew it, they rushed off. All I knew of this Alpha person was that he was my fated mate, I figured it was like an arranged marriage kind of thing. Skylar and the Disney Princess look a like, think very highly of him, and throw tons of praises his way. So I'm guessing he's not such a bad person. Hope nothing too hectic had happened to him. "I hope that the Moon Goddess protects our mate, Kira. Seeing these strange clouds of smoke and watching people burn from touching it was terrifying enough! I don't even want to think about what attacked him!" Destiny can hope and keep the faith for the both of us, I just don't know who or what to believe in anymore! It was rather late when Skylar and the rest of the group returned, but they seemed relaxed, which meant good news. She asked if I had eaten anything and managed to settle in. To be honest, I was too anxious to do anything. I was waiting for them to return, but I didn't want her to know that. I just said that I wasn't hungry, and she insisted I eat something and ordered some of the staff to prepare a hot meal for me. She then told me to turn in after my meal as I would need to be up early the next morning as we were expecting a visitor, the Alpha of the Blue Moon Stone pack. Destiny couldn't contain her excitement after hearing that and just went on and on like a love sick puppy prepping for a first date! I was curious about him, but the thing is, I secretly despised the guy for being a part of this whole plot, prophecy, or whatever the heck, they called it. He is part of the reason I can't have my dream career and life. I am supposed to throw away all that I have worked so hard for, just like that, and all because I have to settle down with him!
