Zion's questions really got me overthinking everything. Nobody mentioned how it all would happen. Was I just expected to go and live with Roman like a mistress or common law spouse? Do they do anything legally here? Is there even a court house in this place? "Kira, a penny for your thoughts. You seem miles away." Zion asked me, and I told him what was running through my mind, and then he said sadly . "I guess I have to forget about Damon too. There's no way he could accept all of this craziness, and it would be selfish of me to drag him into this world." I didn't agree with what Zion had said and told him, "Zee, you can't make that decision for him. You will be selfish if you don't give him the option to choose. If you truly love him, you will tell him the truth and what he decides to do thereafter is entirely up to him but atleast you wouldn't have any regrets and have to deal with what ifs down the line. "It's not just that. My main role is going to be at your side. Kind of like your very own personal assistant if you want to call it that. Skylar said that I have to go through intense training, and she is also going to release more of my gifts and teach me how to use them. I have to prepare to help protect you and the others in battles to come. There's not going to be time for a relationship with all that is going on , and it wouldn't be fair to Damon. I love him too much, Kira. I don't want to screw up the life that he's been working so hard to build." I could not accept what Zion was telling me. What Damon and him have is so special. Yes, they had their meltdowns and had broken up more times than I could count for a few hours or a couple of days at most, but they always worked it out. I will have to do something, I will not let Zion sacrifice his love for this new life that has been forced upon us! As I continued to encourage Zion not to sacrifice his relationship with Damon because of everything that's happened, we were interrupted by one of Skylar's helpers. She said that Skylar had asked that we join them inside. "Hope the Hot Alpha has cooled off now and is in a better mood. OMG! Girl, check out his wheels! Do you have any idea how much it costs? This guy's probably rolling in dough. Keep him bestie, even if it's just for his money. Think of all the fun we'll have spending it. He can be like your Sugar Daddy." Oh Heavens, the things Zion thinks of! It was a stunning looking car, no doubt about that! "Zee, how did you get here?" I asked as a thought ran through my mind after seeing the car. "We drove down. My dad's brother works here with Skylar, and he brought me here. It was a damn long drive, and this place is like totally off the grid. My poor body is all stiff and sore from the bumpy drive here! Why do you ask?" I then told him how I arrived, and he laughed loudly and said that his uncle was so right about Skylar. He had said that she gets very impatient and takes a lot of shortcuts. I guess a perfect example would also be her quick change of attire. "Not fair that she can use her magic for personal gain, and I have been warned not to!" Zion sulked, but I told him that Skylar was old in this game and knows what she's doing, whereas he's just a beginner and has tons to learn. "She is a beauty, isn't she? I chose her for today, figured it would please your eyes, Luna." Michael was standing by the door like a body guard, and when he saw us admiring the car, he walked over to us. "It sure is Michael. Please call me Akira or Kira, I'm not comfortable with being called Luna." I told him, and only to have him respond with, "I can't do that. It's disrespectful. The Alpha would surely have my head if he heard me calling you by your name." I then told him not to worry about that because technically, I was not the Luna yet, but Michael shook his head in disagreement and then said that the pack has already accepted me as their Luna and are eagerly awaiting my arrival at the pack house. Just great! That was so not what I wanted to hear at the time! "Let's forget about the whole Luna thing for now, please, tell me, Mikey, you mentioned you chose this car. Are there more?" Michael let out a low growl at Zion and said, "Don't call me Mikey, and yes, there are many more. The Alpha has a whole collection of cars. It's sort of like his hobby. He has lots of limited editions and the good old classics, too. If you're into cars, you'd absolutely love his babies." Michael spoke of the cars with so much love that one would think he was actually speaking about real-life babies. Zion didn't really care much about cars except for its looks and price, but he pretended to be so interested in all that Michael had to say and said to him, "WOW! Sounds Super Awesome! I can't wait to see them, perhaps you could show them to me and take me on a tour of this place too. I would love to see what other hidden gems this place has" After Zion said that, Michael, a big freaking, very handsome giant smiled back at him with such excitement, like a little boy, and nodded his head in a gesture that he would. Just a sec... Are these two flirting with each other? I gave Zion a questioning look, and he just winked back at me and continued smiling from ear to ear. "I'm going to definitely take you up on that Mikey, now let's go see if your Alpha is still in a b***h mood" Michael let out another low growl at being called Mikey again but Zion just ignored and pretended not to hear anything.

When we entered the main gathering lounge, Roman, Skylar, and Lucas were in deep conversation, and thankfully, they seemed more relaxed, especially Roman. As I walked in, he turned to look at me and gave me a piercing stare as he continued sipping on his Cognac. "What kept you guys? We have been waiting patiently for yourll" Skylar asked and Zion said that we had found something rather interesting along the way that caused us to lose track of time, and he then looked over at Michael and gave him a mischievous smile. I elbowed his side and whispered that he must behave himself, and that little poke made him jump slightly and squealed out. "Everything okay there, Zion?" Roman asked him in a strong, dominating Alpha voice."Yeah,all good. Err, mm, I'm just wondering, what happens next with Kira and I? Also, are there stores or a pharmacy close by, cos we both need to get some stuff." The three seated, smiled at what Zion had asked and then Roman said, "Firstly, both you and Akira will have to start your training at the soonest and secondly, yes, you will most definitely find whatever it is you need and will also be pleasantly surprised at what our town has to offer. If it is okay with Skylar, Michael can come through tomorrow and pick you both up and take you to the mall and show you around town. Skylar would have to do a temporary spell to mask Akira's wolf scent for her protection." Did I hear him correctly? He did say Mall, right? "He owns the Mall and just about everything else in this place," Michael whispered to Zion and I.
