CHAPTER ELEVEN –––––––– DARCY AND NICK RAN into the ranch house and laughed heartily. Raindrops clung to their lashes and shone in their hair. They had crossed the last forty yards under a relentless deluge, and now they were both soaked to the bones. Darcy shook her head to get rid of most of the water in her hair. Still, wet locks glued to her skin and covered her eyes. Nick brushed the wayward curls off her face with the tips of his fingers, and Darcy's smile froze on her lips at his tender gesture.
