Chapter 9 - Meet And Greet

*Blair Claudette Cavanaugh's POV* --- Tears fell from her warm blue eyes... As expected. And damn! She looks different from the last time that I saw her. Her hair was in a ponytail, and now, it's down. Different, right? "Tell me I'm not dreaming." She began while slowly walking where Pryce and I are, and I cleared my throat as l will be the one to tell her since my mate here is also bawling her eyes out but smiling. "Sander, you are not dreaming," I told her as she said, and I went to sit on the headrest of the couch to get a better view of them. It's just a magnificent sight to see two very close friends reunited again. For Pryce, it was just yesterday, but for my cousin, it was an eternity. While the best friends are having their emotional moments, I turned to look at the silvery-white-haired and over-a-half-millennium-year-old girl who has a little boy in her arms. "Alison, hi!" I greeted her with my usual bright smile and waved, and she smiled in return. "Your Highness, Princess Blair, it's so good to see you again." She replied dazzlingly and put down the boy, who I surely sense is a little warlock. He is definitely their son. Aww, isn't it so adorable? And the white-haired pretty girl that sure looks like her is another one. And she's a werewolf. What a lovely and adorable family they have here! "Oh, fudge! Sorry, I mean, Your Majesty. Queen Alison." I apologized and stood straight to bow and give respect as I just remembered that I am talking to the Queen of the Werewolves. There is really a lot to learn from all of the things that we missed within those three decades that we were gone. "Don't mind it, Blair. Anyway, kids, you know who she is, right? Go, introduce yourselves." She told me and asked the children. "She's a walking dead?" The boy let out and was shushed by the girl, "Allan, she's not. It's Aunt Blair. She had just risen from death."  "That's pretty much the same thing. But it is true." I mumbled, but I guess almost everyone has heard it. And I went to kneel to be on the boy's level and offered him a handshake that he accepted, and I told the little prince and princess, "Yes, I am your Auntie Blair Claudette, and that gorgeous girl right there is... your... Aunt Pryce. She is my girlfriend, and I'm gonna marry her someday, so yeah, she is your Aunt. And... Can you tell me your names?" I asked them since I am having a hard time explaining their relationship with my mate. I don't know if I should tell them that she is their grandpa but in another life. That is so complex to think about. "Hi, Aunt Blair, I am Allan Conrad Williams-Smith. I am sorry that I called you a walking dead." He said while looking so adorably cute with his dimples and wavy dark-blonde hair, and I replied while smiling so wide, "Nice to meet you, Allan. And it's okay. I am sorry, too, for stealing your apples."  "It's okay, Auntie. People could be hungry—especially you. You didn't eat for many, many years. We still have lots of food in there, if you want." He replied innocently, which made us all let out a laugh. "That's absolutely correct, young man. Thank you so much. Maybe later." I told him as I stood up and turned my gaze to the princess.  "It's my pleasure to meet you finally and know that you are alive, Aunt Blair. I am Carson Alissa W.S... I am thirteen years old, and Allan here is seven. We heard a lot about you and Aunt Pryce. And well, I prefer calling her Aunt Pryce than grandpa because her past life is completely different from what she has now, though they both have the same soul. And if you wanna know something interesting about both of you, I can tell you some other time. I did lots of research and tracing, and trust me. It is very interesting. By the way, I apologize for freaking out earlier. I was just as shocked as my parents." She started and explained that it just made me stare at her with my mouth hanging open and with my blinking eyes. I doubt that she is thirteen years old, though.  "Oh, wow. Yeah. No problem, Carson. It's nice to meet you, too. And... I would love to hear that 'something interesting' someday." I replied while shaking her soft hand, and I turned to look at their parents and let out, "These kids you have here are so damn adorably cute. Definitely didn't get their attributes from you, Sander." "Was I not adorable and cute, Blairie?" She replied while wiping away her tears, and I scrunched my nose and acted like I was thinking, then asked her, "I don't know, are you?" "Get in here, and I am gonna choke you to death." My dear cousin asserted while sounding angry, and I just laughed and opened my arms wide to hug her.  "Oh, Blair, I'm gonna cry again! I missed you so much, you nut-head. Why did you do that and died, huh? I was so sad when you left me, too. I'm mad at you right now. So mad. But I am happy." She cried out and hugged me tightly. She really is serious about choking me back to death. "I'm so sorry, cuz. I just needed to do that for everyone. Don't worry. We are here now. And we both will surely live for centuries to make up for those thirty years that we missed. I promise I won't get tired of hearing all your stories. I will surely just get bored." I told her as I patted her back a bit hard, and we laughed.  We broke off from the suffocating hug, and I wiped the tears that escaped my eyes and uttered, "Fudge this ashy and burned outfit that I am wearing! Some pigments are getting inside my eyes and making me shed tears." Seeing them again makes me feel good, and it's a great view to see my girl talking with Ali and the kids. I feel amazing. And, one more important thing that would make me feel complete and happy... is seeing my mother. I can't imagine the pain she has gone through with my second death. I need to make up a lot of things for a lot of people. After we explained to the W. S. family the reason why we had come back to life, meeting my dad, how is it that Pryce is now a vampire, then them sharing to us their magnificent love and family story, I invited them to come with us to the palace of the N-witches to have breakfast with my parents. And I wondered why Ali couldn't go with us. "I am so sorry, Blair, Pryce, I can't join you. Duty calls at the domain. I'm going to Manaus, Brazil, with Carson, an hour from now. Probably, we'll be back before dinner." The queen apologized, and I just looked at them with my bewildered face as we all are sitting on the couches. "How are you gonna go to Brazil? Plane? Jet?" I asked curiously since I am wondering how they are going to get there and back so quickly. Flight time from here in Ontario to Brazil is like twenty hours already. Not unless they have invented the teleporting machine these days, that won't be a problem. Maybe they did. Then I looked at my cousin, who is sitting between Pryce and me, when she giggled softly and spoke while showing us a thing in her hold, "Using this, Blair." "What is this?" I asked her as she handed me the bracelet with an orange-colored crystal on it. "It's a Mirak's Crystal." She answered, and my eyebrows met in curiosity. What crystal? It sounds familiar.
