"I can't believe you. I told you to hang the roses on the wall not on the freaking lamp!" Minjun shouted harshly towards a worker who was responsible for designing and planning the wedding while Florence looked at him quite shocked. He had been so fixated on making this wedding day the best thing that happened to her but in truth, this wedding wasn't something she wanted to happen. Even when she had accepted it.
Minjun sighed heavily and looked over at Florence who's make up was finally done. Her hair was angelically put down in soft curls while she wore a crown off white roses, making her truly look like a fairytale princess. His eyes softened once his eyes fell upon her and he smiled softly at her before gazing back at the poor man that was terrified by him.
"I will quickly fix it. The groom and their family as arrived as well as the guests you have invited." He quickly said and bowed before he left Minjun alone, not wanting to receive another outburst of anger by him. Florence felt the rush of anxiety go through her as soon as it was mentioned that the groom was here. Her heart was beating fast as she started to feel a bit nauseas, not knowing how she should actually feel and whether he was a good person.
She wished, prayed and begged to god that Jaemin was a good person.
"I am so nervous..." Florence finally let out after a long time of being silent. Minjun looked at her and walked towards her while hugging her tightly. He felt bad. He felt more than bad. He was useless to her. He couldn't even do something to help her but instead of that, just watch her give her life away as she was not willing too. He was useless and horrible... He wished he could just take her away but he also knew that the risks her father would oppose would be far worse than they were now.
Waylon was horrible. Florence's father wasn't a human. He was too cruel for that.
"I know... but you will be fine." Minjun reassured her, not knowing whether she was going to be fine or not. He had no idea what was going to happen once she gets married into the Lee family. He hadn't even met one of them yet and he was curious to know what kind of persons they were. He only heard good stuff about them but he wouldn't believe it until he saw with his own eyes.
"I am not sure of that." Florence wasn't fully convinced about it. She sighed as she pulled out of the hug and looked at her own reflection in the mirror. She again let out a deep sigh before looking away from herself. She just wished her mother could have been here to see her on her big day. It wasn't the way she wanted to get married too but it still had a special place in her heart. It was something massive to her. It wasn't just a marriage. She was for real.
"Flower?" Florence heard the sweet voice running through her ears. She darted her eyes up and quickly looked towards the door where she saw the middle aged lady walking through. Her hair up in curls as her big beaming smile never seemed to fade away as soon as her eyes landed on Florence. Tears started shining her eyes as she quickly covered her mouth in shock.
"Omo!" She shouted loudly before walking up to Florence. Florence laughed through her tears as she quickly hugged her. "Aunt, you made it." She smiled. Even though, she wasn't her family but just a maid to her father, she meant everything to Florence. Park Yuna worked for her father for a long time now and she had always taken care of Florence ever since her mother passed away.
She literally became Florence's only role model. The only person she could look up too. She was always there for her when she needed a mother figure or father figure. She was both to her and the days where she couldn't be with her was the most heartbreaking ones. She hated to be apart from Yuna.
"Of course I did, my dear. I wouldn't miss your wedding. I have to scare the poor boy before he takes you home." She joked, making Florence laugh too. She nodded her head while still hugging her tightly. She can't believe that she was here. She didn't think that her father would have allowed her. He wasn't even here himself. He didn't care about her but seeing Yuna here made her more relieved. At least the people that cared about her were here...
"I am just surprised father let you come-" "Let's not mention him now..." She said in a low voice as if she didn't wanted to speak about him which Florence didn't mind. She knew that Yuna hated working for him and the reason why she hadn't left yet was because of Florence.
"Promise me one thing, aunt..." Florence said softly and now pulled out of the hug while holding her hands tightly in between hers. Yuna looked up at the young, beautiful women in front of her. She was still so mesmerised how Florence was a person. She was scared that Florence would take upon her father but each day that went past when she was growing up, she reminded her of Florence's mother, Kim Areum.
Florence may look like her father, have his eyes but the smile and warmth was for Areum. She was the sweetest person Yuna had ever met and her best friend. She couldn't believe that she had passed away... She thought countless times why Areum would drink and drive at the same time. She wasn't irresponsible at all. Her death didn't make sense to her at all. She sighed and nodded her head while looking at Florence.
"Promise me you will leave from there as soon as I am married..." Florence whispered and Yuna sighed again before nodding her head. She knew she wasn't going to listen to Florence. There was something about Waylon. He had done something to Areum. That's what she always believed in but she never truly found the proof of it. She knew it was risky. Crossing your line with Waylon was as if the person itself was writing their death sentence.
"I will but can we talk about good things now?" She reassured the poor girl. Florence weakly smiled at her before nodding her head. "Did you pack all of your stuff right?" Yuna asked. Florence sighed deeply as she again nodded her head. She knew that it was already send to his house. All of her belongings were there and today was the day where she was going to move in with him, and his family.
"You have to get your dress on, my darling. I have seen the groom. He is so handsome." Yuna said as she started to speak about Jaemin. Florence lifted her eyebrow up as she locked her eyes with Yuna's.
"You have?" She asked. The curiosity was clearly heard in her voice as she was asking about Jaemin. A cute but shy smile was appeared around her lips as Yuna started to describe Jaemin in the best possible way.
"He is tall. Very tall. He has black hair and his eyes are the most endearing. I am sure you will lose your words as soon as you look into them. He has this smile that he doesn't like to show but I saw him smile and it was the most angelic face I have ever seen. He is muscular but most of all, the way he speaks to other people, he is very respectful." Florence's heart fluttered by just hearing about Jaemin. She tried imagining him but it was hard. She smiled shyly as she remained listening.
"Men like him only exist in movies or shows but he is truly your Prince Charming, Flower." Yuna said, making Florence blush for already the fourth time in a row. She giggled cutely and nodded her head. "He sounds nice." was the only thing she dared to let out. She didn't wanted to seem like she was over excited to meet him when in reality she was. She couldn't wait now.
"Let me fix your collar one more time." Jinwoo said as he approached his older brother who quickly backed away and slapped his hands away from him. "I swear if you touch my collar again, I will kill you." Jaemin let out angrily. Jinwoo lifted his right eyebrow up while looking up at his brother.
"Sjeez... I didn't know that you would have anger issues before marriage." He said annoyed and looked away from his brother while glancing up at himself in the mirror. He fixed his suit and sighed out before looking up to his hair, and fixing it with his hands.
"Is it your wedding?" Jaemin asked annoyed. He couldn't stand the fact that Jaemin was being so damn extra for no reason. It was his wedding after all. He didn't understand what the fuss was about. Jinwoo could be really dramatic and Jaemin couldn't stand it.
"Are you jealous?" He shot back and looked emotionlessly at Jaemin who gaped in shock. He breathed out and then let his frustration go. He knew that there was no point in confronting or arguing with Jinwoo. He wouldn't take the s**t anyway.
"Guys. Are you ready?" Jaemin heard his father call out. He straightened himself up before answering with "Yes." His father walked inside with a huge smile around his lips. His eyes glistening from the happiness he was feeling and proudness. He was proud to have a son like Jaemin and obviously Jinwoo. They were both his strength and shoulders. He knew he could always count on them, no matter what would happen. They would both be here for him.
"Your mother went to see your bride to just check up on her." His father mentioned, making Jaemin look up in an instance. Jinwoo moved from his place, also being excited but mad that he wasn't the one that could go there with his mother.
"What? Why didn't mum ask me to come with her? I want to meet her too." Jinwoo pouted like a baby, making Jaemin angrier. He couldn't stand behaviour like this. "Is everything okay with her?" Jaemin asked as the curiosity took over him and slightness of worry overwhelmed him. What if something happened to her or what if she had changed her mind about it? He couldn't let that happen.
"She is fine but your mother just wanted to double check on her." His father mentions. A part of Jaemin felt relieved knowing that she was okay. However, Jinwoo didn't appreciate that both of them were just ignoring him so he halted his way towards the door so he could go and meet Florence but he was quickly stopped in his tracks by Jaemin and pushed back.
"You will scare her." Jaemin said angrily and held Jinwoo tightly by his arm to not let him go anywhere. Jinwoo had a slight smirk around his lips as he looked at his elder brother. "You already care that much about her?" He provoked him.
"Aish.. This brat. Of course he cares about her. He is marrying her today. They will become one. Go see if it is alright for Jaemin to come and wait." His father immediately ordered Jinwoo. Jaemin let go of his arm immediately and he gulped down at the thought of what his brother, and father had mentioned.
'That couldn't be... I sure care a little bit but not over the top... I won't do that...', He thought and sighed deeply as he could feel himself becoming stressed all over again. He would be lying if he had said that he wasn't nervous to meet her. The fact that the both of them had to share their first kiss right in front of everyone's noses made him feel sick. He was curious about her but at the same time, he didn't wanted to be.
He didn't wanted to get hurt again....
