I watched Audrina’s eyes widen with shock, her gaze darting between Airelle and me as if trying to make sense of some impossible puzzle. The moment was delicious—her confusion, the way her lips parted slightly as if to speak but no words came out. She was completely off-balance, and I had to fight to keep the smile off my face.
“Good evening, Audrina,” I said smoothly, extending my hand across the table. “Kade Accius Dupont, at your service.”
